Jadeveon Clowney, Melvin Ingram, and Devin Taylor all on the same field. Hard to get another defensive line as lethal as these guys were but I hope Muschamp can get us close haha
It's nice to see Clowney finally in 2016 season living up to the potential he showed in games like this. FIRST overall pick; that's SO much hype, so hard to live up to. It takes at least 2 seasons for anybody drafted top 10 to even crack the top 10 in their position. Injuries; slow this process down considerably.
The NFL seems strategically boring because everybody runs pocket passing offenses; but the talent and skill difference is so big Absolutely dominant college linemen becoming above average starters is less then 50% success rate. I watch alot of offseason games like this; and I have to only watch college in offseason because if I switch to NFL like I do every summer preseason; I can't go back; I cant help seeing too much mediocrity even championship contenders. Even 2010-present Alabama's starting defensive units; less then half will make it to a 4th season in the NFL good enough to start. Yet all 11; being 4 and 5 star recruits would be stars on ANY college team. It's crazy.
Dude that South Carolina squad was STACKED...If it wasnt for Cam, SC would have been SEC champs and more...Cam Newton was that good, cuz this SC squad had the studs of the SEC, SPurrier had it stacked with future NFL hall of famers
