They've had Cody, Jericho, and SCU on live mics. Had Hangman cut a promo in a dark segment to check his promo. MJF is gold, no worries anytime he gets a mic in his hand. Pretapes for a lot of other guys like Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc. No scripts. Now do you see my point? For pretapes they don't have to worry about guys missing key points and all the other shit said, they can shoot another take. That's why the some of their stronger promos are getting the live mic so far. Is this making sense to you yet

Edge, to me, was one of those guys who defines a top guys' career while playing the heel. Hogan had Andre, Dusty had Flair, Rock and Stone Cold had HHH and Cena had Edge.
I think JBL was Cena's best adversary, but can't fault someone for going with Edge.

antology7 he was a heel for most of his career him and randy orton. I hated them so much but once i matured i started respecting them and appreciating them.
Just a maturity thing. it's designed for us to hate the heels when we were young. Then you get older and can appreciate them more.
You hated him because he was a great Heel.
I liked him back when he was part of the brood. Then edge and christian, Matt and Jeff and dvon and bubba ray were all great tag teams back then but when edge became the rated r superstar and Lita fucked Matt over for edge and edge fucked over his friend Matt I hated him. But outta that situation I hate Lita BC she played both of them at one point before choosing edge. She broke up a friendship. But as a wrestler I didn't like the rarted t superstar but he was still an awesome wrestler at that time. I also liked when he'd energy through the crowd and do bloodbaths and all that old attitude era stuff. He's really a legendary heel since way back in the 90s.

Not too many stars could've ad-libbed over that video as well as Edge did. When I first watched it, I honestly thought that's how the segment was supposed to go. Seeing that it wasn't intended to be that way shows how well Edge did covering up the hokey acting from Cena Sr.

I could tell back then that Edge didn't really want to slap Cena's dad but, he pulled off the scene because that's just how dedicated Edge was to his character. We may never get another 1 like him, especially now.
John Sr. was a wrestler too, His ring name was Johnny Fabulous. He was a local jobber for the WWWF and WWF in the late 70's-mid 80's. Vinny Mac even had him on Superstars of wrestling back in the very beginning of the show and then later became an announcer for Chaotic Wrestling.

I was thinking the same thing. He had enough smarts to realize that the production was bad and told his star to just ad-lib it to make it better. Smart idea. Now he writes and signs off even worse stuff. My thing is that I feel Vince loves wrestling still but over time he has just changed. I think he just kinda feels dried out of spark for being behind the wheel. He's unwilling to give it up though. So he goes with things that only really make him feel good.
