I don't use margarine anymore, only butter, so thanks for all of the concern! I'm southern so I talk slow, it doesn't mean I am stupid. There is an updated version of this video, same recipe, shorter video here: ua-cam.com/video/T3mJ-GVQRXo/v-deo.html I have several playlists for you to plunder through. Dinner, Desserts, Crockpot, Pressure Cooker, and more. I am sure you will find a new recipe to love. Also, hop over and visit me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Wow.....finally somebody who's not annoying in an instructional video. I love that you didn't spend 20 minutes talking about NOTHING! YOU got right to the point and didn't make it all about you! So awesome! Can't wait to make this!
I made this exact recipe but with apple pie filling and apple cinnamon muffin mix and sprinkled white sugar on top......TURNED OUT FABULOUS!!!! Hubby ate the whole thing in one seating 😂
Chocolate mix and cherries make it turn out like a Black Forest cake. Spice cake mix and pumpkin is supposed to be really good, too. I like strawberry rhubarb combination.
like you said when someone don't have a lot of money that can be a saver. how many time did i said to my son that dessert would be apples or bananas becaus i did not have the budget for little extras. i think i'll have one happy camper now lol
Monique Mosley Yeah! My main take-away is the easy/fast factor. Not necessary, but a scoop of ice cream or Cool Whip (LoL, "plastic whip cream") Would be the icing on the cake. So to speak.😄
Hello, women are super busy, jobs, house to keep, children to take care of, husband to dandle, you don't have time to be Martha Stewart. These kinds of treats are great for funerals, a quick desert. I like to keep stuff like this in my pantry for when weather is terrible school is closed, your always prepared.
When I was young we use to make something like this with a twist. We used a 9x13 pan, a can of cherry pie filing along with a can of crushed pineapple. We layered it exactly like you did, with a full cake mix on top. We cut 2 sticks of butter into tbsp’s and latex them on top. Baked for 30 minutes, sprinkles chopped pecans on top and continues baking for 30 more minutes. Thank you for reminding me of my childhood! Keep making yummy things and there is always a need for dessert!
We did too!!! The Cherries and Pineapples cooked together was the bite of gooiest goodness I have ever put in my mouth! I think I’m gonna make some tonight! 😊🥰 🍒🍍
I found this video about 2 years ago and let me tell you it was such a blessing. I made a cherry cobbler to try out this method, my brothers loved it so much that now this is the only dessert they will eat. It is so simple to make, delicious, and your instructions are clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much for posting this video.
Ashley Carson I so agree with you. So sick of the nitpicking. Often I don't read comments at all. I read these because I thought there would be new ideas exchanged about the recipe, but people can't do that without condemning the creator's choices.
LOL! My grandma always serve everything at once including desert when we were little for dinner. She always said, to eat our desert first, because our bellies always like sweet stuff like we are because we're made out of sweet stuff by God. Then eat and fill up our bellies with everything else on our plates. Grandma's philosophy set with me all my life, even today when my husband and I go out to eat, I always get all my food at once, and eat my desert first, then everything else. I also do the same at home! My husband is used to it now, when we go out to eat he always remind the waiter or waitress not to forget to bring my desert with my meal, lol! Funny though, I enjoy my food or meal better that way anyway! Much love and light.
Can u use frozen fruits in place of can fruits? Please I have a lot of different frozen fruits and would like to use with cake mixes instead of always using them for smoothies
Guys! Call it whatever you want!! 😂 It's cheap, easy, and yummy whether you call it cobbler or dump cake. Im gonna call it momma's broke and the kids want a treat-cake! Thanks for the video :)
Before these where called dump cakes, we called them war cakes. Made them during ww2 and korea. These are such an easy quick sweet to make. I have made them with different flavors of cake mix. Strawberry cake mix with strawberry filling was my husbands favorite. Let your imagination be your guide on this
Wow, that looks great. How about 2(two) ingredient peanut butter fudge. You need one 16 can of vanilla frosting (any brand will do) and 1 16 jar of smooth peanut butter. Zap each in the microwave separately for 1 minute each and mix together in a bowl. line an 8"x8" pan with either foil or wax paper and using a soft spatula, scoop the mix into the lined pan and then put it in the frig for about 2 hour or until it sets cold. Either lift the fudge out or flip the pan upside down and then remove the paper and cut to serve. Cost 2 dollars and it taste like it cost 10. You can add things like rice crispies, use a chocolate frosting or make the peanut butter crunchy. Not trying to steal her thunder here, just trying to share a recipe that is easy and yummy.
To John. I like chocolate and peanut butter together. Try putting a gram cracker mixture in the dish first than the chocolate and peanut butter mixture. Very good! ( gram cracker mixture, just grin some gram crackers up into fine crumbs and add a small amount of melted butter, you don't want the mixture runny, and than put mixture in the bottom of the dish and press it all into place with your fingers or the bottom of a spoon and than pour the chocolate peanut butter mixture on top and put in the frig until it sets. Cut, eat and enjoy. :)
I'm making your version for Christmas....while they are still warm and moldable...I'll shape them into little trees and add green and red candies. Add a box of hot chocolate and cake box cookies Viola!!!! Nice Christmas present for neighbors and co-workers.........and I'll save some for Santa and ME. 🤗🤭
I used to make this in a 9 X 13 pan and used 1 can cherry pie filling, 1can crushed pineapple and nuts (if you want) then top with cake mix and butter on top. My family loved it and requested it often.
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing. I love dollar tree recipes. My husband and I just got married and are on a tight budget so I love finding things that make me look like a master chef. ;) haha He will love this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
sharon anderson What a terrible thing to say! You should be ashamed of yourself. There were other ways to tell someone to make sure they look for easy recipes that are inexpensive and nutritious. Wow, that was so unnecessarily mean spirited. Maybe you're a bitter old lady ( i am to some extent) but why be so venemous to someone who is obviously enthusiastic and looking ahead to a happy life with someone she loves? Wow, you even ruined my night with that mean comment.
Patricia Salvatore Well, please don't let a snarky comment ruin your night!! Remember that this video is in the spirit of fun and innovation, and if someone else can't see it as it is, oh well, their loss!!!🙄🙄😏😏💖✝️⚜️
Michelle Duquette Thanks, i guess just writing a reply was enough to dispel any potential gloom that night. Consider me 100% in on the fun and innovation! Thanks for the encouraging reply. I think you've got it right.
I've made this since the 70's and it is a delicious recipe. The recipe back then was a box of Jiffy yellow cake mix and a can of any canned pie fruit with the butter. Such an easy and delicious recipe. We always put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on while it's warm. So good. Thanks for bringing this golden oldie back.
I can “eat healthy” when I’m planted in the dirt. In fact, I’ll be “organic fertilizer” in addition to having a head start on Hell (because I’m so goin’ there and not in the distant future) with a free Roast and Toast as a cadaver doner.Remember: Healthy people croak too sooner or later. They just need to think they’re gonna be the one that escaped the ravages of aging including long teeth, short telomeres and shorter memories ;-) hmm...now where did I put my glasses...
Anthony Thorp That’s right! And cake and pastry and cookies and brownies and ohletsjustdieandtake the express to culinary heaven-big ol’ honkin’ cinnamon rolls, home made donuts, home made whipped cream on everything and are we dead yet?! No? Add some more!
Thank you. I’ve seen dump desserts before but never thought about using less cake mix. Great tip. I love delicious recipes that aren’t so time consuming.
New subscriber! Thank you for not cussing, not telling us who did what to who. Thank you for getting to the point and not being boring. By the way I like dollar tree because it really is a dollar store or less!!!
My Kentucky-born MIL taught me to make this when I was 20 years old (I'm 67 now); Gladys changed the name--cobbler or cake--depending on the fruit she used, but no matter what, it was always GOOD!! I use real butter now, though, not liking the chemicals used in making margarine, and the butter makes a world of difference to this old woman :-)
I made this last weekend. It was super good! My sister and niece both asked for the recipe. I hated to give it because it was so simple. I had felt like a master chef until that big question but I relented and gave it up. To my great surprise, they were blown away by its simplicity. Thanx for making me a hero! You now have 2 more converts. 😜🍰 🍒
I just love how raw and laid back this tutorial is. And i will thank you very much be making this for a bring a dish night on holidays. Ima be walkin in all bug headed. Yup lol.
I mix a stick of butter with cake mix- softened butter that’s been left out. Warning once you taste this you will not stop eating it till it’s gone - at least for me that’s what happens!
James Wright Mah Brothas and Sistahs, can I get a hallelujah for buttah! That marge-or-reen...how the hell could anyone read the ingredient list on that stuff, every last one of which is unpronounceable, made in a lab and conclude it’s fit for human consumption? That it’s *better for you than buttah?!* What a corporate con job! Sistahs and Brothas! Give it up for the buttah! HALLELUJAH and all praise the real thing! Marge-o-reen, The Original Frankenfood™️.
I made it to night and GOOD LAWD was it DE-LI-CIOUS!!! I can’t wait to try apples and peaches and add a little cinnamon and sugar!!! My husband loves cherry 🍒 pie and I’ve been looking for recipes he will enjoy and he looooooved it!
i use to make this camping..Get a camping Dutch oven pot..Dig a hole enough to set Dutch oven in..Put 24 charcoal biscuits in the hole till the turn white..In Dutch oven 2 boxes of Jiffy cake mix..1 can of cherries pie filling..8 dabs of butter on top..12 charcoal biscuits in bottom of hole ..set Dutch oven in hole with lid on top..12 more charcoal biscuits on top of lid..cooks at 350 for 40 minutes..With home made Vanilla ice on top now your talking...Thanks for posting this nice to know i can make this at home.
I work at Dollar Tree in Marion Va. and I love videos of stuff made from Dollar Tree. I must say this is a favorite of mine. Thank you for this amazing video. It really does help people that cant afford much still have nice things. I greatly appreciate it. Cant wait to see the out come of my own.
Thank you! And thank you for watching. 💜 Don’t forget to subscribe, I am always looking for cheap-delicious recipes to share and I love the dollar tree!! Share this video if you’d like so others can see that you don’t have to spend a fortune for a fantastic dessert. Have a good weekend!!
We used to make this kind of cobbler back in the 70s. We always used Jiffy cake mix. The box was so small that you used the whole thing. Not sure if Jiffy still has their cake mix. Always turned out great!
I’m 65. My mother never made dump cakes, but used a can of sliced peaches and juice, sprinkled Jiffy cake mix, then pats of butter. We were poor and only got dessert about once a year. Maybe two times. We never got fruit, either, except once a year.
Stuck in the house because of the coronavirus watching videos like this helps with the anxiety and it the same time makes me hungry Thanks for the great video find because I don't have much money you are so creative.
I've tried several of these and they're great! Very inexpensive ingredients, very easy to assemble, and most importantly, very tasty. I've just discovered Dollar Tree in the past few months and due to these recipes, I'll be shopping more frequently. Thanx!
I love Sweet Southern gals. I love this one. I always double it! And eat i,t as well! I'm feeling hungry all of a sudden. Eyeballing some cherry and apple filling in the dining table😊 Chocolate chip muffins and now some fruit cobbler. Turn the oven back on!
❤️ it! Looks delicious & straight to the point. The only part you’re wrong about is not needing dessert, everyone needs dessert, ma’am-esp yours! Southerners cook THE BEST
Now that fits all the rules for true cowboy cookin'. No more than four ingredients, cooks in less time that it takes to eat it and no mixing bowls to wash.
These recipes are a great way to get kids in the kitchen, to start "cooking'. When I was in Girl Scouts in the 70's (now I feel old), we went camping a lot, and made this with white cake mix in a dutch oven. We called it "Cherries in the Snow" because of the white cake mix. It was sooo good.
I have made this for years! 😋 My family's favorite! We have ALWAYS called it "Dump Cake". I have made a few changes though, I use a glass 9×13 pan or if you want to take it with you I've also used a disposable aluminum 9×13. I use the cherry pie filling, a can of crushed pineapple (large can. 16oz?) Dump the pie filling & undrained pineapple & just a bit of lemon juice. (I have made this w/o the lemon juice but I think it helps brighten up the flavor & cuts down the sweetness) I use the whole pkg. of cake mix then sprinkle it over the gently mixed pie filling, pineapple & lemon juice. I've used different flavors of cake mix like, white, yellow, butter & lemon or if you can find it cherry or pineapple. I don't melt the butter. I just cut pats of it right on top. Bake at 350° till bubbly & browned on top. If you'd like an extra crunch I like to sprinkle pecans on top for the last 10/15 mins. This is great if you serve warm with vanilla ice cream. I hope you like these additions!😊😋🤗😉😍 *BTW* If anyone is interested in the other pie fillings I've tried I'd be more than happy to tell you about them. Just ask me in the comments. Thanks!🍒🍍🤓
You make it the way my aunt taught me. Love the cherry and pineapple together. I have made with white and yellow cake mix but like yellow best. Chocolate is good with just the cherry filling.
Thank you Honey for showing your cobbler after you took it out of the oven. Many videos do not show the end product. I’m going to make this today. Thanks again
This is a great recipe and I've used it for years. Try different combinations like chocolate cake with the cherry pie filling or, for a nice fall version--apple pie filling with a box of spice cake mix. My favorite is blueberry pie filling with lemon cake mix.
This is very similar to the recipe on the Jiffy brand cake mix box called Fruit Magic back in the 70's....I've been making it for years....I use 1 box of Jiffy cake mix, (yellow or white), and 1/2 stick of butter. I put the cake mix in a bowl and use a fork to mash in the butter so it's crumbly, pour it on the fruit and bake at 350 for 1 hour....delish....great with cherry pie filling, apple, peach, blueberry....anything works! Quick, easy and inexpensive...think I'll make one today!
daria linderssen Hi Daria. Do a screenshot and save it to a recipe file in your photos. I have saved several recipes in these comments that various people have mentioned as variations to this lovely, easy dessert idea!
I love your emphasis on the word “NICE” comment.😂😂 UA-cam can be savage, but us girls from the South know how to be polite and mind our manners. 😉 Love the recipe. We can keep a boatload of kids occupied and happy with this for sure! 💕❤️❤️
Thank you for this download! I didn’t read all of the comments so I don’t know what everybody said, can I change the recipe a little and use the chocolate cake and called it “ chocolate covered cherries!! “ MMMMmmm!
Ohhh i have been making this recipe since my son was a little guy and daughter was 12 , hes 26 n shes 38 its quick and taste good . Only thing i do different is i also put small chunk pineapple with the cherry pie filling . I drain the pineapple really well though it s yummy.
Hi Eboni and Melody. I made this "dump" cake for a family reunion 2 weeks ago, going with the crushed pineapple and the cherry pie filling.. was absolutely delicious!
For fun, use untrained crushed pineapple with the cherry pie filling, and then top with melted butter and coconut flakes. To get decadent, sprinkle with pecans! Enjoy! That’s how my Mom made it....sure wish she were here to make it!
I actually tried this and put butter and brown sugar on the bottom! ! It was a hit! Now this is not a healthy dessert at ALL! :) LOL but is great! I used the Apple filling. Hard to get a filling dessert that will feed around 6-8 people for $3 bucks. Thanks Sassy!
I didn’t have the glass pan but when I went to dollar tree I found 8x8 metal pans so I bought 2 of them. I made an apple and a cherry and they are both so yummy. Thanks for uploading this.

Do both, mostly healthy but my dear INDULGE too! Life is too short. I'm sure your beautiful inside and out.
@@georgebowman1060 there's no moderation when it comes to pie.😋
Anthony Thorp That’s right! And cake and pastry and cookies and brownies and ohletsjustdieandtake the express to culinary heaven-big ol’ honkin’ cinnamon rolls, home made donuts, home made whipped cream on everything and are we dead yet?! No? Add some more!
I use the Dollar Tree pans when I make this, saves on clean up lol!
Yes! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you. I’ve seen dump desserts before but never thought about using less cake mix. Great tip. I love delicious recipes that aren’t so time consuming.
My mom used to make this classic "dump cake." Sometimes she added chopped nuts to the top. Thanks for sharing this sweet memory!
And coconut!
dollladie and she didn’t need to melt the butter, just put globs. Oh my god...no time?
my grandma called it cherry dessert and has been my favorite for over 50 years
New subscriber!
I use real butter now, though, not liking the chemicals used in making margarine, and the butter makes a world of difference to this old woman :-)
i only use real butter now also, since about 25000 people barked at me for using margarine, and it really does taste better. thanks for watching!
Thank you so much!! 😊💜💜 it also works well with other pie filling flavors also. I appreciate your support.
Diane Ashworth what is oven temperature? Thanks
350 degrees Fahrenheit 😊
I have used that cherry pie filling for the top of my cheesecake 😋 it is delicious and for a dollar ! Hell yeah 😎
I just love how raw and laid back this tutorial is. And i will thank you very much be making this for a bring a dish night on holidays. Ima be walkin in all bug headed. Yup lol.
Looks great! You can also do it with a can of 7up on top instead of butter.
Thank you for watching
My mom used to make this style of cobbler all the time, but I never got a chance to see how she did it. Super glad I found this. Thanks!
We call it “Dump Cake” been doing this since 1984 ❤️ So Good.
Thank you for watching!!
I put cream cheese between cherry pie And cake mix
Penny Lee extra yummy
Delish!!
How does that turn out? Is the cream cheese melted?
Jennifer W yes love it
That sounds awesome
I mix a stick of butter with cake mix- softened butter that’s been left out. Warning once you taste this you will not stop eating it till it’s gone - at least for me that’s what happens!
Ohhhh...I bet the butter takes it to a whole new level. Thanks--will try it.
You mean margarine ain't butter? Lol... my wife's aunt says same thing...lol
I was thinking that when she said margarine. I only use real butter. I don't usually use cake mixes, I bake from scratch, but I'm going to try this.
I'm trying it your way! Thanks for sharing!
U r very direct and no extra talk AND I like that
Very nice! Thanks for posting this budget friendly recipe in these hard economic times.

I loved it. It was short and sweet and simple. Thank you so much.
Only thing missing is a scoop of ice cream!😍
Yes 😊 thank you for watching
Yes! Yum!
We used to make this kind of cobbler back in the 70s. We always used Jiffy cake mix. The box was so small that you used the whole thing. Not sure if Jiffy still has their cake mix. Always turned out great!
Yes, they actually still do make Jiffy cake mix. :-)
I’m 65. My mother never made dump cakes, but used a can of sliced peaches and juice, sprinkled Jiffy cake mix, then pats of butter. We were poor and only got dessert about once a year. Maybe two times. We never got fruit, either, except once a year.
Doesn’t get any easier than this for a golden brown, cherry cobbler!🍒
Stuck in the house because of the coronavirus watching videos like this helps with the anxiety and it the same time makes me hungry Thanks for the great video find because I don't have much money you are so creative.
Thank you so much.
I've tried several of these and they're great! Very inexpensive ingredients, very easy to assemble, and most importantly, very tasty. I've just discovered Dollar Tree in the past few months and due to these recipes, I'll be shopping more frequently. Thanx!
Thanks for the nice comment. 😊💜 and thanks for watching

Thanks for sharing, sounds like something a lady told me about years ago. Although she said to put cake mix on the bottom and top. 😋

Life is Short, Cherry Away! 🍒
I love dollar tree cherry pie filing it’s so good
I tried with pumpkin bread mix....oooooolalala...fancy fall goodie✌🏻❤️😻😻😻🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
❤️ it! Looks delicious & straight to the point. The only part you’re wrong about is not needing dessert, everyone needs dessert, ma’am-esp yours! Southerners cook THE BEST
Simple, fast and easy. I mean its just beautiful at the end.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon to the cake mix, then put it all on top.
Thats a Great idea!👍🏽
I bet that would be especially good with apple pie filling...
I add brown sugar and cinnamon to the cherry filling..Lol
I love the one green nail! That's so me right now. I was in wholefoods trying on polish.
Great recipe, btw
thanks!! And thank you for watching 😊😊
Now that fits all the rules for true cowboy cookin'. No more than four ingredients, cooks in less time that it takes to eat it and no mixing bowls to wash.
Jim Foreman that is my kind
The cherry pie filling for $1.00 is a bargain but I buy Jiffy mixes for 59¢ at WalMart.
I agree Jim, besides eating, the best part is no mixing bowls to wash!!
Yep, need a simple bachelor cooking show. Quick, easy, few dishes, and no fancy ingredients/spices.
That looks amazing! I too, only use butter, never margarine. Thank you for this recipe!
Thank you for watching 😊 I only use butter now. Be sure to check out some of my other videos and don’t forget to subscribe.
Yes, my youngest loves to "help" in the kitchen. Thanks for watching!!!
I hope you like these additions!😊😋🤗😉😍
*BTW* If anyone is interested in the other pie fillings I've tried I'd be more than happy to tell you about them. Just ask me in the comments.
Thanks!🍒🍍🤓
You make it the way my aunt taught me. Love the cherry and pineapple together. I have made with white and yellow cake mix but like yellow best. Chocolate is good with just the cherry filling.
Thank you; as well! I'd be so glad to hear about additional recipes! I bet lemon would be delicious too!
I made for 1st for my sister's birthday I used cherry was such a hit I am making it again with apple this time
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR FABULOUS RECIPE
Thank you Honey for showing your cobbler after you took it out of the oven. Many videos do not show the end product. I’m going to make this today. Thanks again
Thank you for watching honey
Now I know what i'll be making for thanksgiving desserts...thank you
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Looks yummy, would have liked to see it cut.. thanks for the recipe.
Wow only three ingredients and looks like you been at it all day. Thanks for sharing 💕
I did this recipe BUT I put real butter and cake mix into food processor and then covered the pie filling. Yum yum
Thank you for watching😊

Thanks so much for watching 😊💜 and the thumbs up
I love these American recipes. I'm Polish & only learned to cook the way my mother taught me.
Thank you so much! I do appreciate you watching 💜😊

This is a great recipe and I've used it for years. Try different combinations like chocolate cake with the cherry pie filling or, for a nice fall version--apple pie filling with a box of spice cake mix. My favorite is blueberry pie filling with lemon cake mix.
Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!!
Look for movie search for movie
This is very similar to the recipe on the Jiffy brand cake mix box called Fruit Magic back in the 70's....I've been making it for years....I use 1 box of Jiffy cake mix, (yellow or white), and 1/2 stick of butter. I put the cake mix in a bowl and use a fork to mash in the butter so it's crumbly, pour it on the fruit and bake at 350 for 1 hour....delish....great with cherry pie filling, apple, peach, blueberry....anything works! Quick, easy and inexpensive...think I'll make one today!
Radar DiMaria I live in Chelsea mi, Jiffy's hometown.

Radar DiMaria darn, it won't let me copy your recipe hahah. Oh well..
daria linderssen Hi Daria. Do a screenshot and save it to a recipe file in your photos. I have saved several recipes in these comments that various people have mentioned as variations to this lovely, easy dessert idea!
Kath Urbahn-Hall Hi Kath, I'm not sure how to do that, darn.
Thank you very much though.
This looks so good and easy and affordable! Thanks! My kids will love this and my husband too with peaches.
Thank you for this yummy idea. I ended up getting 1 can of cherry and 1 of apple and used the sugar cookie mix. 😋
I love your emphasis on the word “NICE” comment.😂😂 UA-cam can be savage, but us girls from the South know how to be polite and mind our manners. 😉 Love the recipe. We can keep a boatload of kids occupied and happy with this for sure! 💕❤️❤️
Thank you for your nice comment!! I appreciate it and thank you for watching😊💜
Thank you for this download! I didn’t read all of the comments so I don’t know what everybody said, can I change the recipe a little and use the chocolate cake and called it “ chocolate covered cherries!! “ MMMMmmm!
Yes you can do that! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. 😊💜
Yes it's so yummy with chocolate cake mix!
God I'm starving im making this tonight thank you 😋
Thank you for watching! 💜
My grocery store wanted 6 bucks for strawberry filling. I ended up getting the cherry filling for 3.50. Making it Easter Sunday. 🐣
thank you so much looks easy to make for our 14 grandchildren and grown son's and wife's i sure need that kind of baking😁😁👍god bless you👵🙏
Thank you for watching!
Ohhh i have been making this recipe since my son was a little guy and daughter was 12 , hes 26 n shes 38 its quick and taste good . Only thing i do different is i also put small chunk pineapple with the cherry pie filling . I drain the pineapple really well though it s yummy.
Melody Flores Yes I do the same. We call it dump cake here in Texas. Silly name but oh so delicious!
Try not draining the pineapple. + used crushed
Melody, that sounds GOOOOD!
I remember this dessert from when I was a kid it was delicious
Great cobbler! And it is fast and easy. Just one thing..ALWAYS USE REAL BUTTER. Butter makes it go from pretty good to totally awesome!
Thanks for watching! I have an updated video of this recipe here: ua-cam.com/video/T3mJ-GVQRXo/v-deo.html and I used REAL butter in this one. :)
Real butter is actually healthier for you too. I've always made it with real butter.
I made this but with apple filling! Delish! Thanks!! 💛💛
Glad you liked it!!
Noel thank for the video , love the way you explained instant pot Ace cooking, and cleaning!! I’m getting one !
This is really easy to do baking. I just wish you would have cut it open to let us look inside
Beth Linscomb me too....thats what I was waiting for😀.....looks delicious😋
Yes I was hopeing to see it cut as well. Still enjoyed video though.😜
You don't really cut it open,it's more spoon it out..Very yummy
Yes, I was waiting to see how it looks when cut and served in a plate.
Cut and eaten
My Mom made this in the sixties with Jiffy cake mix. I thought she created the recipe.
Deborah 5122 -Lol, we all thought our Moms invented this and almost any jello salad she ever made.
I got a laugh at your comment, thanks.
Yah, i forgot about jiffy cake mix, it was cheap and good.
Wow Deborah 5112, what a blast from the past to hear Jiffy mix..yeyaaasss,.that was a staple in our house growing up..
This recipe goes back farther than the 60s. The year that cake mix was invented. Yummy yummy 😋
Great! Thanks I think the kids will love this and love helping to make it!
Thank you so much for watching
