I love how this show was about psychology, almost every Atem's opponent and himself acted like if they were surprised or scared when they were actually just acting and had already a way to counter attack, just wanting to play with their opponent's nerves.

Gotta wonder how Marik got up from that. Not in terms to the game but actually getting up after literally being punched not just by a skyscrapper tall giant but a literal God. They're playing a Shadow Duel so the monsters are real.
I always remember when watching the next episode, marik got up from that punch from obelisk like he was not pain, grant it winning his previous duels made him stronger. But like he also did not care, about losing life points cause he was happy with normal marik being banished, but yami marik forgot he still needs to win the duel to obtain the power of the pharaoh.
