How well has the cam lock latching system worked since you’ve gotten this? My 2018 F150 I bought used and came with a northern tool truck box and the latches are horrible and super frustrating.
I’ve had it over a year and love it still! I am only 5’6” so being able to open the box was a big deal to me. I have always experienced the paddle latches through don’t half way work or you bend the rod inside and it won’t close right after that. So far no issues with my CamLocker! I would definitely buy one over again.
Yes, it will fit. If you go with the deep toolbox like i have you will need to make sure the box has the cut outs at the bottom so that it will fit over the fender wells inside the bed. If you go with a standard shallow box then you should not have any problems at all with it fitting. p.s. I still love my toolbox and it has still kept everything dry with all the rain we have been having lately hear on the South East of the Country. Thanks for watching the videos and I hope this helps!
Can you do a video of you standing on box ? I can’t seem to find a video anywhere that demonstrates the durability of the top itself. Can kids / adults sit on it ? Is there a weight capacity ? Just want to make sure it keeps its flat surface with no dent, sag , bending etc. I even checked cam lockers website , I don’t see anything on there that I can find. Any help on this ?
I will make a video as soon as I can! I do know from my use I can sit on the lid in the middle with no problems or dents. I weigh about 230 pounds so I would say kids, coolers, or yourself and a kid should be good on the lid of it. That was one of my concerns as well with buying a toolbox. I know there are some out there that don’t have the extra support under the lid that do bend and dent a lot easier. I hope this helps and thanks for the comment!!
I ordered one , hope to have it today. I have seen other boxes that shows and talks about how it could be stood on. Just haven’t seen anything like that for camlockers. We have had down pours of rain the last few months and all my stuff stays dry and adding the lights from Amazon really helps see in there at night or early mornings!
