@savoy1214 the song was supposed to represent the struggle between religion & street life. It's a song about a guy that's a "gangsta, thug, criminal or whatever" that sees the good in religion as opposed to life in the streets. Because of all the killings & death he's seen he starts to pick up the bible & read it. It's STILL a process to change so he still has ties to the street while God is tugging at his soul. Sorry you didn't like it but "You can't win them all!"

But neither of us said the song sucked; we just said that part wasn't needed in the song. Maybe the contradiction was on purpose. We're all hypocrites in one way or another.

At the beginning of the song you talk about violence, how violence is bad, and that you're reading the Bible and you cry and shit. Later on, you talk about killing people? "I'm talking momma, daddy, sister, brother, aunts & uncles too." Really? Song started out kinda deep and ended kinda deep, but that middle part was so unnecessary. It ruined the song.
