I once took medication that made me extremely sensitive to light. I had to wear shades everywhere and people probably thought the same of me but the truth is we don't know what's going on with people and it's really none of our business. Didn't stop people from looking at me weird which I thought was weird. That's when I realized judging someone for wearing shades indoors was the dumbest thing ever.

So I am married and we are expecting a child. It’s a very happy marriage at that too. We’ve only been married five years so I don’t feel like I have any magical advice, but what worked for me so far was dating people I would want as friends. I also looked at how they treated everyone around them. I want the person who’s kind to others and goes out of their way to be good.

Only difference was that this guy started saying so many bigoted things about the people around him. He assumed my boss would agree with him. They had this steadfast and unshakable belief that only their values were true and just, and all others were immoral and wrong. But when I pressed them, asking why questions, asking for details, they would always pivot. In ways much like your breakdown. I enjoy that you can show such depth of others, in humorous ways!

The Pearl thing is wild. I am a woman who makes fairly good money, and I've dated a couple men who I made way more than or who were unemployed. Honestly, while some women *absolutely* do date men in part for their money, most women (especially those who are doing financially fine) don't.
That said, in my experience, women *are* nervous to date men who make less than them - but it's not about the money, it's about that we live in a society that expects men to be the main breadwinner and where many men expect to be the main breadwinner in the relationship - and not all men handle the reversal of income brackets well. I don't give two shits what my partner makes - I make enough for us to both happily live on even if he makes nothing - but I do want a partner - someone who respects me and wants to work with me to build a life. I don't expect a man to be a "stay at home husband" if he works just because he works less - if he likes his job and wants to keep doing that I support it (and that income is still adding to the partnership) - hell, even if it's volunteer - if it's his passion I still support it, so this isn't about "if I am the main breadwinner I want him to be in the kitchen". But around 50% of the time when I date men who make less than me what I get is a partner who doesn't help with the cleaning, cooking, or laundry at all then complains to me about how me making more makes him feel but who has no space to listen to how the situation makes me feel - or who tries to sabotage my job so that I make less or get fired. They still want to talk like they are making $50 mill per year and like I'm some gold-digger (including talking *to me* like that), they still want to sit on the couch drinking beer and not lifting a finger when they come home from work - it's not that they don't give up their own financial independence or passions to be a stay at home husband (I don't want that) it's that they completely refuse to give up an Andrew Tate worldview - but now I'm footing the bill for it. Most women don't want to risk that, and are going to be nervous to date a guy who makes less until they make sure you're not that sort of guy.

So she's basically saying how much you would need to pay her to listen to Andrew Tate quotes at 3am about how she contributes nothing to the house she paid for. And she only picked 40-50k per year? This is simply not true. If we see most women marrying up(in every statistics), you've come to the conclusion that's because men do not seem to take being low in anything than a woman well. This simply means majority men are like that. But by that logic, men worrying about getting a gold digger for a spouse means women are gold diggers. You don't see how you've generalised doing exactly what you shame men for. You or most marrying up is just that, you and most women marrying up. Yeah now that I'm getting away from that community, I find it crazy that I didn't noticed how much they decrease the value of a person to just money and sex, they make it like you shouldn't find a person that you can connect with to create a life together, they want you to find a person that check every box in your checklist just to brag about having them, ignoring that there is another complex person just like you on the other side.

My wife came with debt, not a lot, but a little bit, she had a car, but I had a house (you don’t need a car in London, I just rented a car when I needed one) on the plus side, she was smart, funny, cute and sane and we’ve been married over 30 years. I now give my son one piece of advice when it comes to girls, sanity is an extremely underrated quality. My second hand experience tells me stress and drama, shortens your life and empties your wallet no matter how much you had to start. So sanity first, then smart, funny, cute, money, etc, etc, are bonus qualities. Also, having money is not a quality in a person, because you don’t sleep, cuddle or chat with money, unless there’s something wrong with you.

I hope you're young cause with each passing year in age the dating market seems to get worse and worse for everyone. Or at least that's what my single friends have told me. Finding a man with no kids past the age of 25 seems to be near impossible these days.
@wowzersfyi Huh? I'm a woman and have been married for nearly a decade. Thankfully I don't have to swim in the dating pool anymore cause frankly it was full of shit ten years ago and I doubt it's gotten any better by now. The best thing anyone can do is find your life partner when you are still reasonably young (aka sub 25) because after that the baggage seems to start adding up real quick with baby mama drama, unrequited love for exes, dudes that can't commit because they been a player all their young adult lives, hobosexuals, etc.

I don't wanna know how much time he spends alone with thinking about his skits, setting up the scenes and green screen each time and the editing everything in post production. There are so many people on this platform who simply just react to content but his videos fell like a breath of fresh air tbh. Also I love how he is self aware about his form of content, always credits others and clearly states that it is just his spin on topics that have already been discussed by other great creators (e.g. funkyfrogbait)
