Nothing looks better on a freshly washed vehicle than deep, black tires. While the many brands of aerosol tire spray dressing are super convenient to apply, they make a mess of your rims and can get into your brake pads if you are particularly careless with the overspray. I made a cardboard circle to cover my sweet 14" rims on my truck I had WAY back in high school, but it is just too small to be effective on my 20's. Even my wife's 16" rims are a tad big, so I set out to make a new wheel guard. This will cost you just a few bucks and should last a long time given it's plastic and won't hurt getting wet. The corrugated plastic is what you see used in yard sale or other signs people might set outside to advertise for businesses or a home for sale. You may be able to buy similar material from hobby or craft stores if you can't find it at home improvement or hardware stores.
