- Make a cape for a birthday or costume party. So easy to do and so cheap! Costs less than $0.13 each and takes 10 min to make 8 capes!
Materials:
Rectangular table cover (got mine from the dollar store)
Scissors
Bowl
Pencil
Give this woman a medal!!! 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉 I just started a daycare a few months ago and I did this with my all boy day and had them decorate them and it was SO fun!

My daughter is going to be in a color run tomorrow & the theme is “superhero’s” since she has been battling with bullies, she wants to put anti bullies logo on the back while she runs laps. I thought it was a good idea , kind of like she’s supporting the cause. This is a great cheap way too-I looked everywhere for a cape and didn’t even think of using a table cloth. Genius!

beauty crush I’ve done the color run before and it’s so much fun! What a great cause she is also doing it for. Hope she had fun and was able to take out some villains while at it. :-)

super easy!!! I was looking super heroes capes for my children to use at school tomorrow as the day of "I have the power to be drug free" so all students are going to use that. I might take extra capes in case any kid needs one. thank you for sharing.

Hey, I have bought my tablecloths but when I follow your instructions I cut and it made one and the other one was on half. Do you think I am cutting wrong?
It’s definitely possible. Either that or the table cloths are different sizes.

I tried it and it ripped when I put it on..
That’s strange. Was the hole big enough to go over the head? I didn’t have problems with it ripping.
Ethan Giana try moving the neck hole a little further away from the edge. Maybe it won’t rip as easily.
I saw another tutorial on UA-cam where she put in elastic and taped it. I'll try it this way first though because I don't have elastic.
The video is called DIY superhero cape. I also just looked on dollartree.com and they have packs of 12 or 8 "headwraps" / they are just elastic headbands. That would work too! Just tape it in.
