If you choose build a house on your land, I highly recommend building it on top of whatever spot you you consider the ‘ugliest’. Don’t build on the pretty parts. Save those to look at ❤️
I am crying with happiness for you! I got a piece of land on a river 40 miles west of Chicago where I raised my girls as a single mom. It was a miracle when that happened and I can feel your joy! Many blessings bestowed on you!

Congratulations on your purchase I look forward to watching you as you improve and possibly build on your property. My Wife and I just purchased 21 acres in the Virginia mountains and all the work has been pretty intense with cutting down trees and leveling out a area for our motor home but it will eventually come together so stay safe and enjoy the ride
