Same feeling. I got mugged in my neighbourhood in Southwark. Lived here for more than 5 years and you just get comfortable. Now I'm too anxious and get startled easily in the street. There's clearly a cctv where it happened but the police close the case in the same day I reported it.
UK police is USELESS! I got my 2 watches stolen over £11k, and I and few friends all knew who stole them, after reporting to police over 2 weeks, they called me and say: the suspect denied, unless you have CCTV footage to prove it was him! I mean, seriously? is that all police can and will do ?
The same thing happened to me. I was on holiday, and then the house got broken into. Stolen everything and cameras show who it . police said they need clear footage of the man to suspect. UK police is absolutely useless. All my jewellery, clothes, some cash, my car ! Everything been stolen. Now I'm so scared to go holiday even though I've got good security system 😢
They have cctv footage of this woman stealing the Birkin bag and a good picture of her. Has anyone heard if they have been able to catch her yet? Personally I’m all for cameras everywhere. If you aren’t guilty of anything you should not have an issue with it. Plus no face coverings (except in arctic temps)
She is the type of thief that have been stealing and getting away with it for yearssssssss. Also, no purse she cost as much as a car anyway…let’s TALK ABOUT THAT.
I witnessed a tourist getting their phone snatched in the Church Street area. She screamed and the thief dropped the phone. It was in broad daylight. We went comfort and talk to them. They were really shaken up.
They stole my wallet inside the church. I knell down during mass I left my bag in the pew and a woman next to me took it . I know because she left the church before the Mass ended. Mind you a Church and on a high holyday, The Assuntion of Mary . Aug. 15
My house was broken into a couple of years ago. Taking everything he could, including clothes, jewellery, sunglasses , my car. Awful. Never wish on my worst enemy!!
Home security cameras are a huge deterrent. We have them all over the place and get alerts immediately. We were in Italy and could check out our home in Florida with our phones.
@@ashantide My friend’s bag and my belongings were stolen from my friend’s car in a parking garage at a major university one night. There were a large number of cars that were broken into that evening. We were in class. We think it was an inside job, possibly with the campus police involved because they were acting very strange. Luckily, both my friend and I had renters insurance and our losses were covered.
I'm sorry to read your stories my friends, it's really upsetting when this happens. It's happened to me so I fully get it, and you're right, you feel violated :( xx
Was thinking the same. Although if her mobile 📱 was in the bag, it can be used as a tracking device. Although the police still don’t assist. A friend of mines had his Apple iphone stolen at an event. I helped him track it down using Google Earth on his MacBook. Actually zoomed in on the street name and the front door for the number. Gave info to police. They did nothing. So he drove to the property himself. Knocked on the door and asked for his phone back. Turns out it was a kid that picked his phone up from a table. His parents were so apologetic and mortified 😂
I’ve honestly paused all luxury purchases at this point due to this type of crap! Why buy it if you can’t enjoy carrying it? Just stupid! Until law enforcement and the government actually give an ounce of sh!t about the current state of society, it’ll only get worse! Side note- your skin and makeup is flawless! And the people that comment that she deserved it are not only jealous and envious but they’re also probably stealing from people as well!
I think people should boycott buying these things until government can fix the situation. Government obviously benefits from luxury sales (sales tax, etc.) so why can't they ensure an environment where theft isn't possible? Surely luxury companies will pressure when sales go down.
A new attitude to crime? In the way that the French Revolution was a new attitude to crime? Seems like this attitude to crime has been around a good long time, and comes secondary to the attitude towards outrageous income inequality in a world where so many people are homeless and starving.
@@J9H5 you are right. This attitude is as old as cain and Abel. But the answer to the jeerers is the same. And Sophie said it perfectly- those thieves aren't gonna feed the poor with this birkin. They care about themselves. Or as God said to cain if you want to do good- good for you, but if you don't, sin crouches at the door and masters you. In other words you'll always find an excuse to make things worse.
@@tamarfischer283 Those people aren't really cheering for the thief. Their cheer is a symptom of a societal problem. And if ignored can lead to dire consequences. This issue of inequality isn't going to go away just because you chastise the people cheering. Am seeing this problem so much, I mean remember the health insurance CEO.
@@J9H5 That is exactly what I said in another video about a different issue. Someone was complaining that people on the road aren't nice when she drives a luxury car. All I see is a symptom of inequality, and the majority getting angry. The anger is often misdirected but shouldn't be ignored.
I'm sure the thief is a regular on Oxford street and the store detectives have seen her before. I think you're right. She is probably part of a small group of spotters who linger around the shops all day looking for easy targets
@BureauKat It's awful. So wrong on so many levels. People work hard to buy a few luxuries. Where did this entitlement come from where people stealing became acceptable. Not to mention how terrifying it is for people.
If you’re rich or not it shouldn’t matter you shouldn’t steal something that belongs to someone else. Another thing is do fitting rooms no have locks ?
Lock all the doors ladies in London when carrying any designer bag . This store had CCTV luckily and positioned. But there was no store assistant near the changing rooms . Pity . This thief clearly knew of this information beforehand about this store and this particular changing room. She was so confident and probably done this before.
I think it’s time to have luxury companies like Hermes and Chanel to sew in Apple AirTags in their bags underneath the lining. If the thief tries to remove it, they will ruin the bag.
Smart since the incentive is to keep the bag but someone well organized that’s has pictures of their codes that would stop the thief from selling it on
@@canadiandiva7603 I can see people having a problem with privacy and being tracked. Plus, I wouldn’t put it past those luxury companies to sell your info to 3rd party marketing. I know it sounds crazy but my company uses geo fencing to track customer shopping habits and it’s very common for companies to do so.
surely some techie genius can figure out tracking device for this sort of theft. it's getting out of hand. how brazen and confident one must be to walk into a fitting room!
Which store is it on Oxford Street? Zara on Regent Street is flooded with thieves, to a point you can spot them pretending to shop, and Zara actually puts out a store announcement alerting people of it. My mom once caught a thief reaching into her bag and confronted the thief inside this specific Zara store.
Happened to me in the Zara in Oxford Street. Woman put her hands in my coat pocket to get my phone! Because my pocket was deep, I felt it in time. Security don’t care when I told them! Plus these disgusting thieves dress nicely and come with others so they can be protected! That particular thief had a man and woman with her! She was lucky I was in shock because I would’ve gone after her and took her to security!
Unfortunately no major cities are safe anymore, didn’t feel safe when holiday in Spain, Italy. Living in London is okay if you know where to go but major shopping areas are definitely not safe anymore. I still wear my Chanel bag, not Hermes but I wear it crossbody and under a thick coat. I don’t use phone and walking about. It is ridiculous. 😢 That also put me off buying any more luxury items for a long time. Actually, I don’t need them 😅😅. Stay safe everyone, happy Christmas 🎄.
Where about in Spain and Italy you didn't feel safe? Just surprised to hear this, or maybe things have changed dramatically in the last 2 years in both countries?
@@estellasalmi9409Naples and Rome are very dangerous, Milan is quite dangerous, any touristy city (Florence, Venice) have people who are there solely to rob rich tourists that come with designer items. It’s not victim blaming to tell people that taking out 10.000€ on your wrists is like playing Russian roulette. I don’t think she deserves it but you have to be really out of touch to walk around in one of those. I used to think that in Milan the only place you could actually use an Hermes bag safely is for shopping on Via della Spiga or Montenapoleone, it’s clear that even those places aren’t safe anymore. Maybe Galas and fancy hotels still feel safe but I just think that using such an expensive item that sometimes cost as much as people’s yearly salaries is extremely tacky.
When I lived in a major city, I never carried my money or important identification in my purse. I carried it in my pocket or tucked in my bra. I once got held up, my bag was stolen, but nothing important was in it. Luckily, the police witnessed this. After a search of the area, they found the guy, still holding my bag. I identified him and he was arrested. I got my bag back. Nothing was missing, but some crumbled up food wrappers were left by the crook. I had to appear before a grand jury. He was convicted. I learned many lessons that evening.
My personal horror...having your handbag stolen! How terrible! No one deserves to have their things stolen, no matter how rich they are. Imagine the shock!
I think it's best not to look rich while traveling. I always use an old phone for GPS, one that I don't mind losing, a $20-50 crossbody bag with thick strap and secure closure, and casual H&M outfit that doesn't cost much. The only country I brought my LV bag and expensive iPhone to is Japan because it's so safe there lol
Love that you are discussing this topic. It’s just so sad that we are unable to freely carry our handbags and phones with the fear of getting it stolen. I always wear crossbody and have a wrist strap for my phone XX
If you look at 8:14 the thief is wearing a wig i believe. Also I think she has darkened her skin slightly. That fitting room was very large as you can see a chair in it. I think the thief knew the lay of those fitting rooms and the fastest escape. You may catch her on old CCTV with different hair and skin tone. I've been robbed, very large items. An audi tt, a Ford puma, countless Prada handbags and purses and even my home safe and jewels. I no longer own a car or valuable jewellery. It's heartbreaking I'm so sorry to Janice.
The location of the fitting room is so bad! Easy to get away, even if people are trying things on and are planning on stealing them, out the door and down the stairs and they are gone.
The only place where you can walk around safely with luxury is Monaco. They walk through the streets with million dollar necklaces and there's no problem. There was a time when the only people who could afford luxury were people in the high professions and in the entertainment world and crooks, and people were okay with that because it was out of their reach. With the onset of the nouveau riche via social media, where anybody and their grandmother can become wealthy without an education or a learned profession, luxury has become more mainstream and more people covet these items. So even small time crooks understand the value of a Birkin or a Hermes, and it's unfortunate because people are not free to go about safely.
Ok, there’s no problem with becoming rich without an education or learned profession. Why is more people wearing designer stuff/nice things being in the reach of more people a negative thing.Snobbish comment.

So disturbing and sad that you can't enjoy your hard earned items! Hopefully they find the person/people who did this to her. It can happen to anyone from a homeless person to rich, thank you for addressing this issue Sophie!
This is why you always have to be so aware, it’s an awful feeling . Happened to me twice in the 1990’s and why when you use a public toilet, you place your bag on your lap so they can not reach under or over the door if you have hung your bag on the back of the door. You never put your shopping in the boot and walk away from the car. It has been bad for years just more spoken about now.
I'm glad you pointed out that thieves dress very nicely. It's so easy to zone out when we're shopping. We must stay frosty. These thieves are definitely not Robinhood!😂😂😂 What a pain in the "ya know" for the victim. Merry Christmas !😊
In the US changing rooms lock from outside or u can lock from inside. Unfortunately we cant wear expensive jewelry and handbags out shopping anymore. I hope this woman gets caught. Fortunately her face is caught very clearly on camera plus her finger prints on the door knob
I am only part way through this but my hands are literally shaking now. This is horrible beyond words. There is no place in this whole world that is actually safe anymore.
I didn’t feel safe with my lux handbags since 2021. That’s the reason I sold all except for 1. I also didn’t like logos anymore. Understatement pieces are so much classier.
Shame on whoever said this is OK because she has money. Hopefully the thief is caught, and prosecuted. Whenever I carry an expensive bag I wear it crossbody UNDER my coat/ jacket, and always in my sight. Dressing room? In the corner with my coat clothes covering it. I trust nobody. Happy Holidays to David and you.. here's to a prosperous 2025! 😊
@J9H5 “look at me, I am so edgy…I am so anti consumerism and stuff…aren’t I am great girl altogether because I am so special and edgy and I enjoy people having their things robbed” - That’s you!!
I don’t know what happened to London either, but I so don’t want to go and visit London anymore. As a visitor as much money as you spend, it is so not worth it anymore.
OMG, those pictures are so terrible!! Does anyone know which store this happened in?? However, the situation has worsened in all cities, here in Italy it is the same.
Life is getting more and more dangerous. That is why I never walk around large cities holding designer bags, - at least not the very famous and expensive ones. It looks like an invitation: " Come here, I seem to have too much money." There are more than enough elegant, pretty bags that do not carry the Hermès or Chanel logos.
It should never be like this but unfortunately it's how those thieves think: apparently you've got too much money, so I'm going to take some off you. In my country there are many amazing bag brands with no flashy logos but it's also one of the countries where walking around with a Chanel or Hermes would be safe as it's still a real luxury here, not many people have these items.
Happy Christmas Sophie and David, have a wonderful time❤. I saw Janice’s original post and was utterly horrified! The sheer audacity of that girl , how did she even know that Janice had left the bag where it was easy to steal? Hope the Police can use the street cctv’s to follow her and catch her 😡.
We just can't have nice things anymore. The law seems to be catering to the dirtbags of society. I stopped carrying expensive bags and even wearing jewelry or watches.
Hi Sophie, I agree with you, no one deserves to be robbed. Sad to hear about Janice…. It’s devastating to hear about these stealing crimes. We just need to be extremely alert where ever we go, cross body bags for traveling is a must and only use your phones when needed. BTW Sophie, love your jacket and hair today ❤
Shocking that in a uk luxury store ladies changing room can’t be locked ???? In Asia it’s all locked or there’s staffs at the entrance of the multiple curtain rooms
You have to be diligently aware and not trust anyone, especially, in luxury type stores. That’s where they target the high priced bags and other items. Lock your door when you’re in the change room. If you’re with your husband or friend have them be on a lookout to have extra pair of eyes. Don’t take anything for granted. I once hung my bag (non designer) on a clothing rack in Saks just to take a quick look at a jacket in the mirror 2 ft away and noticed a woman circling around. I listened to my gut and took my bag and all the clothes I wanted to try on away from her. The popularity of luxury items has caused an uptick with thievery. That’s the price you pay no pun intended.
My ex had her $8000 prada handbag stolen when she got a little too drunk. She was bad when drunk, one time in a crowded nightclub she withdrawn $600 from ATM and puts it in her top pocket while drunk, someone in the crowded nightclub just plucked it out in about 30sec.
It doesn't matter what the cost is, the value of any belongings and peace of mind to the person who is stolen from cannot be truly replaced. Even when "justice is served" it doesn't undo the damage and the pain caused. I have been stolen from several times by the very people placed in my home to support me. Racking up into the thousands. Social services covered it up, police refused to investigate even though they had audio of the carer telling the new worker how she steals from me step by step. The best part, I literally gave her and her children beauty products and bags all the time! She had recently taken a holiday and I gave her all the travel toiletries she could need! It's happened to me so often that new workers know they can get away with it and nothing will be done. My mental health has been so affected by this. I was a support worker for 13 years and I would not even dream of taking advantage of anyone. Nobody deserves to be stolen from. Sending love and prayers her way 🙏 ❤️ xx
Thank you, Sophie, for the warning. I have decided to take my debit card out of my wallet. I don’t use it, since it is not as secure as a credit card, so why am I carrying it?
Warmest thoughts for a wonderful Christmas dear Sophie! May love, peace and prosperity follow you always! Merry Christmas to you and David and of course the bunnies! Thanks for the vlogs! Much love! ❤
I loathe it when people blame the victim! As you said, it's not going to feed the poor, it's going to criminal gangs and sometimes terrorists or other groups. I ordered a new phone three weeks ago and someone at the warehouse stole it before it even got to me. I didn't deserve that any more than Janice deserved to have her bag stolen. DO NOT blame the victim!
a delivery driver stole my brother's phone he saved up a YEAR for then tried to pretend it wasn't him, was using it and we said well check where it is cause it isn't here! he had to refuse to pay for both the phone and the THIEF'S BILL! like he'd just keep paying it???
I have to be so much more carful 🤦🏻♀️ my heart sinks watching this from NYC. I worry about this all the time. I have mostly Chanel (no Hermes yet and too scared now) and now I’m thinking about getting the sen rev that you keep recommending. I feel like this is my biggest fear in NYC. My watch, my bag 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I hope the police recover this bag but I’m honestly not hopeful
The nerve to go into the changing room and steal it WHILST SHE WAS INSIDE tells me that this is something she has done several times. This is definitely not a one time event
That dressing room is in such a high traffic spot too. Weird that she didn't lock the door? or is that door the entry point to a hallway leading to individual dressing rooms? These are just questions I have and I will be paying more attention to the set up/ surroundings when shopping. Super violating.
There was another influencer whose flat was robbed. I think she was on vacation. She lost EVERYTHING. She had a HUGE collection of Hermes’, Chanel, Dior and other luxury brands. Knowing someone has been in your home would be the worst. These thieves need to be stopped. Someone must recognize the woman in the security footage.
One of my Friend last summer got his Birkin35 stolen also , He was on a restaurant terrasse, The guy who stole his Bag was sitting not to far then came to ask my Friend a question talking to him and in seconds je took the Bag who was ok the ground (with a small Dog puppy inside) and ran away real quick… With the dog in the Bag, So not only he lost his Bag but his lovely small tiny puppy Dog too. My friend was heart Broken. This happened in Canada.
I am so very sorry to hear this Keven, how upsetting but also angering. And too, to have lost the puppy. I'd have been heartbroken :( Thank you for sharing my friend xx
Yesss! The money is going to human trafficking etc. My brother's phone got robbed in London, they drained his bank account and maxxed his overdraft. They could see he doesn't earn much. If he were someone less priveleged; without family and friends, to feed him make sure he had money and could pay his rent he would have been in massive trouble. These robberies have a serious impact, and fund much darker things. It's so frustrating it's been allowed to get out of control.
I am so very sorry this happened to your brother, I bet is was/is terrifying. For them to have emptied his accounts, have access to his phone etc. It's really scary out there and the police do little about such crimes. It's very true - these thieves are not "robbing the rich to feed the poor", their stolen goods go to much darker things :( xx
My feelings of distaste towards thievery just can’t keep up with my feelings of disgust towards people spending that much money on nonessential consumer goods. Sounds like that influencer will be just fine without our sympathy.
I agree with your sentiments. It's a first world problem. I would feel sorry for anyone who gets robbed whether it be a 10K Birkin or an inexpensive Zara handbag. What is troubling is that if someone lost a Zara handbag with their purse and possessions inside it wouldn't receive the social media attention that someone with a Birkin receives, 🙄 though possibly the loss would be greater for someone with considerably less disposable income.
I’m getting to where I trust no one. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I go to Broadway tour shows near to us and usually do valet parking because my mother-in-law has mobility issues. We never leave anything of value in the car and have never had a problem, until last week. My husband had borrowed this car while his was in the shop. While riding around we heard this weird electronics sound but didn’t think anything of it. 24 hours later my phone pings with an AirTag detected notification. We found the tag hidden under a backseat floor mat where a valet would not be. After checking with my sister-in-law and cousin-in-law we discover it is not theirs. That car was only out of their possession for 3 hours 2 weeks before with us going to a show. We contacted the police and I will be searching for AirTags after every show.
Does the clip start with the thief leaving the dressing room? Why don’t we see her enter, how far in she went and how long it took her to grab and leave? Is the Birkin insured? There is potential for fraud on both sides. This is why I only go for mini bags and cross body bags nowadays so even when on the pot I don’t take it off my person. B35 - sold because I had to keep putting it down and tying it to benches and the like.
She probably just lost a $10.00 bag base on her income. The issue here is the principle. Thou shalt not steal. Nobody deserve to be victimized rich or poor. Plus a smart brain thinks a bag doesn't cost that much anyway. If Hermes had said the bag will cost 500 -900 , people will believe it. Then again he says more, to cater the rich. It's a marketing strategy actually. 😊 Rich - that's cheap Middle Class - that's expensive
So glad this hasn't happened to Hawaii (yet!), i feel so secure carrying my luxury bags strolling thru my neighhood of Waikiki. I'd probably sell off my bags, if i could no longer enjoy carrying them
I seen your other comments, obviously you have a chip on your shoulder about people enjoying things. Yes, you are right it’s not that deep as people dying but it’s still not right that thievery is rampent. By your logic people shouldn’t be allowed to hold onto nice things they save up for and enjoy because there are worse off people.
@ In the extremes? Yes! That’s exactly how I feel. And if you saw the people with desperate poverty and need as I work with regularly, you’d start to find all this offensive to the point of snapping too. If someone can afford to buy a purse like that, and then have the mindlessness to actually spend money on it, I come by my lack of empathy for them very honestly.
This is what happens when you are soft on crime and overrun with criminals and immigrants. London went woke and now it’s sinking. I’m so sorry this happened to her. People should be able to feel safe.
I have a French friend who is head seamstress for a Haute Couture designer in Paris. We were discussing luxury bags and she said this is exactly the reason she doesn't carry one. Fortunately for her, she loves Michael Kors. Very little chance of those being stolen.
Just came back from London for holiday. Seems to me crime in London has gotten so bad that SAs in luxury stores warned me to hide my phone, bag & jewellery. Oh my gosh, what’s the point of buying when you can’t carry or wear them safely anymore? This is bad for London’s economy if theft problem is not eradicated! :(
No one deserves to have their designer bag stolen. You are right, this woman stole for her own gain, not to give to the poor. People need to stop being so resentful towards rich people.

I had my luxury bag stolen from me on a high end restaurant in central London about a year ago. I reported it immediately and not only was the officer very dismissive of me, but also I received and email from the Met Police on the next day (less than 24h since the incident) saying that the case was closed and they couldn't do anything. So yes, the only reason they are even acknowledging this is because there is an actual tape and it has gone viral
Hey Sophie you look so lovely!! I’m from the US I was in a small shore town and this happened to me!! They have TJ Maxx that is called a runway store. They carry real luxury designer things. I was on my way to my shore house and stopped in. I saw a great long sleeve silk sweater like pullover cover up that I wanted for a trip I was going on. Went in the dressing room to try it. Their dressing rooms are in a pretty big room with individual booths. They even checked you in and give you numbers. I felt that my diamond engagement and wedding band would pull it I took them off and put them on the bench inside my little room. I walked out literally less than a half of a minute to look in the full length mirror I went back in and my rings were gone. Thank god they were covered by insurance but they never caught the thief. The police didn’t do much they said they would contact all the pawn shops right away!! Oh boyyy thanks so much!!! I was devastated for months. No one deserves that. It’s such an invasion. You actually feel sick. Needless to say I don’t trust anyone anymore it’s sad. I would never ever take something that wasn’t mine !! I do agree with you I think these are professional thieves. If you aren’t guilty of anything you should not have an issue with it. Plus no face coverings (except in arctic temps)
I always lock the changing room door. It's absolutely awful to see that footage, it's so brazen and casual they way she operates.

Aug. 15

My car was broken into once and my gym bag was stolen. I felt so violated. I can't imagine how you felt!

Good point - guessing she had no air tag in there 😢
Was thinking the same.

Agree with you 100%
I think people should boycott buying these things until government can fix the situation. Government obviously benefits from luxury sales (sales tax, etc.) so why can't they ensure an environment where theft isn't possible? Surely luxury companies will pressure when sales go down.
You're describing Brazil 😅 Here you can't wear anything fancy or expensive, it is dangerous.
what shocks me most is the way people, even journalists are blaming the victim. this is the new attitude to crime. it is dangerous
@@J9H5 That is exactly what I said in another video about a different issue. Someone was complaining that people on the road aren't nice when she drives a luxury car. All I see is a symptom of inequality, and the majority getting angry. The anger is often misdirected but shouldn't be ignored.

I think it’s time to have luxury companies like Hermes and Chanel to sew in Apple AirTags in their bags underneath the lining. If the thief tries to remove it, they will ruin the bag.

Which store is it on Oxford Street? Getting robbed is common now. Not carrying my expensive bag. Not buying expensive bags anymore
I felt for Janice. To be robbed is just awful! Some of the comments were just so disappointing. I hope they catch the Thief 😔
My personal horror...having your handbag stolen! How terrible! No one deserves to have their things stolen, no matter how rich they are. Imagine the shock!
This is crazy. What is the point of buying a nice bag and cannot wear it around in the city centre .
What’s scary is how close she was to catching her. It happened so fast.
I heard the police don’t feel the need to catch thieves there and that’s why it’s so rampant 😢

I was just in Japan and felt very safe there.

I agree 100%.....When I use a dressing room in the US, the door will automatically lock once I walk in or I will automatically lock the door myself
There should be a security guard stationed at the fitting room area.

What’s the point of buying these things, a few years ago a man got murdered for a Rolex watch. It’s not worth it.

These robberies have a serious impact, and fund much darker things. It's so frustrating it's been allowed to get out of control.
I am so very sorry this happened to your brother, I bet is was/is terrifying.

Happened to me in Ft. Lauderdale. Police said I was tracked by gang of thieves and they wait for the second you turn away or are distracted then grab your bag/ phone. They saw my luxury car and followed me initially.
Surprised the door didn’t have a lock on it.
The police really can’t be bothered. Too much paperwork.
If they really wanted to catch the thief they could by checking all the street CCTV for her movements. But it’s too much man hours 🤷🏽♀️
yet they expect a pension paid for by us
She should have ran downstairs and got the bag back. She’s too timid.
The bunny is so precious!!! Thank you for this video! ❤
I had my luxury bag stolen from me on a high end restaurant in central London about a year ago. I reported it immediately and not only was the officer very dismissive of me, but also I received and email from the Met Police on the next day (less than 24h since the incident) saying that the case was closed and they couldn't do anything. So yes, the only reason they are even acknowledging this is because there is an actual tape and it has gone viral
they're in cahoots
I do believe in Karma that’s about the only thing that gives me any peace at all.
I've said this many times, invest in a Tesco life bag😃
My phone was stolen in the shop with cameras. The problem is police is not investigating
I won’t to know how she was able to obtain security footage because I’ve been a victim and anytime I wanted to see CCTV I’ve been told only the police can look at CCTV and security are not able to show public even if your the victim so not only has this lady been able to see it she was able to obtain a copy and use it for her own personal use how is this possible
the most important thing is not the bag, but the personal items inside ( keys, cards, ID, passport.....etc)
I have airtags everywhere. On my keys, hidden in my wallet, i sewed one into the lining of my car, another in my handbag.
