My school is all about individuality. I go to school in Chicago, and my school accepts basically everything: dyed hair, tattoos, piercings, short skirts, ripped clothing, crop tops, makeup, nail polish, hats, and a lot more! I love it here! :)
I live in the netherlands and i feel like i've been blessed we don't have any dresscodes or rules about make-up. We can wear whatever we want. I believe they should do this in every country because people should be able to show their individuality. And to every one with dresscodes try too break them just a little by wearing cute socks, scarfs and hairbands ;) Love you xx

The little ones like us (class 1 to form 3) have more restrictions. Can style your hair anyhow you want. Dyeing your hair... your colours must be natural. NO makeup, not even mascara. No nail polish. No electronics unless you have permission from the principal. the only electronic device you can have is your scientific calculator. UNIFORMS. Only black or brown FLAT shoes. Can wear sneakers for P.E. Black or white socks. Skirts must not be hitched up too high. No hair accessories unless it's a hair tie or a bobby pin or a clip that isn't too big. the same rules apply for the juniors just that everyone of us have to keep our hair in corn row braids or cut it. Y'all Americans should count your blessings.

So they have this thing called bento meal where there is vegetables little bit of fruits some rice and some fried things :(

Dyeing your hair is discouraged but we go unscathed. Makeup is common among my regular schoolmates but our class does not wear much, save for powder, cologne, and a good comb. Most of the girls in my class wear black shoes but I opt for blue running shoes because I tend to walk around a lot during break times. Nail polish is pretty welcome to us.

We have to wear white school shoes and white socks. We cant use our phones during school hours. We cant "secretly" pass notes to our friends. During recess, we cant go anywhere except the canteen, the field and the basketball court. Girls arent allowed to remove their pinafore unless it's during PE. Our skirts have to be pass our knees which really sucks. (I grow tall really fast and I have to constantly buy new skirts.) We have to tie our hair if it's past our shoulders. Talk about strict! -_-

Hhmm... My school- No nail polish, no make-up, no long nails, you cannot put your hair down, either black or blue hair ties, uniform, white school shoes, white socks, no electronic devices except for e-dictionaries and calculators. And we have to pay for our food. If you have no money, either borrow it from your teachers or friends. If you don't do your homework, you either get scolded and get out of the class or stand. Best case scenario, you get scolded and nothing else happens and you just have to hand in your homework the next day. And the scolding is not what you think. Hmm... My teacher's scolding could be heard from the other classes close to mine.

We r not allowed to use ANYTHING technological. No phones(if u catch u on ur phone they send it to the principal and dont give it to u till the end of the year, or they brake it)calculators...etc. But everyone brings phones but we hide them and were super careful, plus we dont have any wifi. And we cant chew gum. Our school is very strict unfortunately. I guess u must be in a private school since u can use pretty much everything :/

In my school, everyone can wear what the heck they want to... Like, for real. Some girls walk around in bandanas as tops and so incredibly small booty shorts that I seriously doubt them being shorts at all... During the summer at least. During the winter they still dress sassy, but with more class. And the guys, gosh, they walk around the school with their pants hanging at their ankles. No but really, you can see their ass. Literally. Some of them have nice underwear though.. Anyway. You can do your make up however you like, and so on. When I was in college (my high school had a uniform) I would mostly boyfriend cardigans (my main one being a tan one) and it was really useful when it got cold and if one of the other students needed to lie down for a bit due to feeling sick or tired I would lend it to them to act as a pillow.
In Austria u can do and wear whatever you want - You could wear the shortest hotpants u have , pink hair and a smokey eye with red lips... No one will blame you
Try transparent mascara, if you're wearing mascara for the shape and not for the color (I use it because I tend to rub my eyes but I think it would be safe for glasses too :) )

My school is horribly loose. Boys and girls mixed school using BAC French system. Wear any jacket but has to be plain black, any black pants can have other colors as SECONDARY colors, no makeup or hair rules, take any electronics but don't use them in class unless they are the school iPads which we use instead of books, ACCESSORIZE AWAY GO CRAZY, if you don't have a calculator you can use your phone, any shoes but no heels but you can wear these sneakers with heels (wedges). They don't care about anything. The shirt must be the uniform's one tho. Literally girls dye their hair in pink and green and nobody does something lol.

i get jealous when i watch back to school video's. In my school we wear a uniform, & we aren't allowed to bring our phone's and if we do bring them they take it away until one of my parent's come to talk to them, we can't wear ANY make up and nail polish & we have to "trim?" our finger nails every week, if we have long or medium hair you HAVE to tie it, we can't wear any accessories exept a watch. we have to wear black shoe's. I SURVIVED 9 YEARS OF SCHOOL AND I DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE IT ANYMORE SO SOMEONE PLEASE KIDNAP ME BECAUSE I WILL START SCHOOL IN A WEEK. =''(

Hhmm... My school- No nail polish, no make-up, no long nails, you cannot put your hair down, either black or blue hair ties, uniform, white school shoes, white socks, no electronic devices except for e-dictionaries and calculators. And we have to pay for our food. If you have no money, either borrow it from your teachers or friends. If you don't do your homework, you either get scolded and get out of the class or stand. Best case scenario, you get scolded and nothing else happens and you just have to hand in your homework the next day. And the scolding is not what you think. Hmm... My teacher's scolding could be heard from the other classes close to mine.

My school is so strict. Here's some of the rules:
-no nail polish, no long nails
-No colored shoes. It has to be the high top black converse (if its not a high top, the teacher will hang it on the tree until ur parents come and get it)
-no phones, no electronics, no calculator
-uniform. And the skirt has to be long like a maxi skirt
-your uniform shirt has to be loose.
-if there's a school event where we can wear our own outfits, no jeans and flip-flops
-has to wear white and long socks everyday of the week except Wednesday
-on Wednesday we have to wear a black socks (but I wear a black socks that has pink on it bc you know on Wednesday we wear pink lol)
-can't wear accessories
-you can't have a boyfriend/girlfriend otherwise you got expelled
-no makeup even a little lipbalm. You'll get a detention.
-no late even by 1 minute
-we have to be on school at 06.45
-can't dye ur hair
-can't style it. It has to be either let it down naturally or on a ponytail

We r not allowed to use ANYTHING technological. No phones(if u catch u on ur phone they send it to the principal and dont give it to u till the end of the year, or they brake it)calculators...etc. But everyone brings phones but we hide them and were super careful, plus we dont have any wifi. And we cant chew gum. Our school is very strict unfortunately. I guess u must be in a private school since u can use pretty much everything :/

In my school, everyone can wear what the heck they want to... Like, for real. Some girls walk around in bandanas as tops and so incredibly small booty shorts that I seriously doubt them being shorts at all... During the summer at least. During the winter they still dress sassy, but with more class. And the guys, gosh, they walk around the school with their pants hanging at their ankles. No but really, you can see their ass. Literally. Some of them have nice underwear though.. Anyway. You can do your make up however you like, and so on. The perks of living in Sweden I guess. ^^
But this Wednesday, I'm graduating ninth grade, and I will seriously miss my class. ;-; We used to hate each other, but like you say, it gets better, and now probably everyone will cry their face off. *Sniff* So sad...

When I was in college (my high school had a uniform) I would mostly boyfriend cardigans (my main one being a tan one) and it was really useful when it got cold and if one of the other students needed to lie down for a bit due to feeling sick or tired I would lend it to them to act as a pillow.

• strictly NO skirts or you will be expelled.
• no "crazy" haircuts or hair dying.
• hair must be neat and out of the way.
• you are only allowed small ear studs and no piercing ANYWHERE else.
That was just a few. Our school is pretty strict when it comes to dress code.
I live in England and I'm going into yr 9 (8th grade to Americans) and were aloud to wear nail polish minimalist makeup jewelry is allowed as long as it's a flat ring and earrings are allowed in the lobes so I feel bad for everyone and I'm so lucky to be able to have a flexible uniform ❤️❤️❤️

My school is horribly loose. Boys and girls mixed school using BAC French system. Wear any jacket but has to be plain black, any black pants can have other colors as SECONDARY colors, no makeup or hair rules, take any electronics but don't use them in class unless they are the school iPads which we use instead of books, ACCESSORIZE AWAY GO CRAZY, if you don't have a calculator you can use your phone, any shoes but no heels but you can wear these sneakers with heels (wedges). They don't care about anything. The shirt must be the uniform's one tho. Literally girls dye their hair in pink and green and nobody does something lol.
