Depends on the account type. SCHD dividends are "qualified" JEPQ would be taxed at marginal rate in a regular brokerage account. I have both in my Roth
I slowly buy jepq for the monthly payments and aggressively buy schd. I use the jepq dividends to buy more schd. I'm up to an extra 2 shares a month so far.
How it is designed with the covered call options it should have pretty good payouts consistently moving forward. Nice thing with JEPQ is it diversifies meaning no more than 50% in Tech. Specifically for this fund. I use to buy individual stocks and do literally the same thing JEPQ does. This fund saves me so much time. I still invest in JEPI and have considerable amount of portfolio in SCHD and SCHG
My current portfolio yields 8%. I have JEPQ in my portfolio. I do not own any SCHD because the 3.5% dividend yield of SCHD is too low for me to live off the dividends.
Schd increase dividends, 5 years ago it was half what it's now. If those increases stay like this in 5 years it wouldn't be 3.5% but 7% , in 10 years 14% in 15 years 28% just to hold it without reinvesting anything. If you need money mow Jepq if you can wait few years or a decade schd is a clear winner.
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Catherine Gauthier.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn't know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states, she is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States.
I wouldn't trust Trump economy for so long. Any tips on stocks that can outperform s&p500? I am at the beginning of my investment journey and intend spreading $200k across dividend stocks, so that I can annualize up to 30% ROI even after my retirement.
I agree, financial advisory is currently the optimal approach for navigating the financial market, especially for newbies and those approaching retirement. At first-hand experience, my portfolio has surged over 300% since the covid crash of 2020 to date.
I'm unsure of whether a financial advisor is right for me I am pretty familiar with investing, just need a little assistance in rebalancing my portfolio for high monthly dividends. I have ETF JEPQ and JEPI by JP Morgan
I've stuck with ''Karen Lynne Chess'' for 5 years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. To be honest, if it wasn't for the pandemic, I wouldn't have supplemented my stream of income, but I'm so glad I did.
glad to have stumbled upon this, curiously inputted Karen Lynne Chess on my browser, spotted her consulting page at once and was able to schedule a call session with her, she seems highly professional from her resumé
Only if you are already retired, these cc etfs should NEVER be used as growth funds, and especially if its not in a roth account. The tax bill will kill you. Look up video from Viktoria April 7, 23.
I Hit 110k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Kristin Hillsley for helping me achieve this.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Kristin Hillsley, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills

My same strategy good work🫡
Very interesting…nice to learn more of this Jepq ETF…Thank you…
What’s the difference between this account, stock market Beast, and ETFWizards
They’re all the same dude
I have a little money in JEPQ but most of my money is in SCHD and i add to it monthly. I love SCHD it is a little safer than JEPQ i feel.
I use dividends from JEPQ to buy more SCHD.
this guy has so many channels with the same content !!
my question is will JEPQ always have dividends of around 10% ? currently its good for monthly income but is it sustainable?

I prefer SPYI over JEPQ, it’s cheaper and the dividends are higher and more consistent..
Trying to get to 200 shares this yr im dripping
My current portfolio yields 8%. I have JEPQ in my portfolio.

Yes but it’s more for a long term investment strategy. If you build up shares now, you can benefit from the quarterly dividends later in life.

For a more ĺong-term investment strategy, I use SPYD. SPYD is very similar to SCHD, but it has a higher dividend yield.

@Peter.F.
I am too old to wait decades.

You trade with Catherine Gauthier too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much

as a beginner, its best you seek the guidance of a seasoned advisor, it may seem costly but could save you the cost of a fiasco

JEPQ VS QQQI
Total return over the past year between JEPQ and QQQI is very similar. With JEPQ having higher growth and lower monthly distributions
QQQI is better if, big IF, you are in a taxable account. But if that is true none of these cc etfs should be used
Only if you are already retired, these cc etfs should NEVER be used as growth funds, and especially if its not in a roth account. The tax bill will kill you. Look up video from Viktoria April 7, 23.

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
