Stress-free on vacation? Then "Kassel Airport" is the right address. Just three or four major departures per week, check-in without a queue: there is no more relaxed take-off. However, the operators of the regional airport are not very happy - year after year it runs a deficit of millions.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, because experts warned as early as the planning phase: Kassel will be a subsidy business. So why did everyone involved keep going? And: maybe the "turnaround" will succeed after all?
