Dont demotivate sir.. 30k -40K is the minimum salary for fresh MBBS graduates... I couldnt do PG for now due to some situations. I am running own clinic for the past 1 year.i am earning almost 70k - 1 L per month.. Dont misguide students.. It s all about skills and knowledge.. Sometimes in some areas,Even PG doctors wont get as many cases a skilled UG doctor gets.

Hello im a doctor working in a private hospital and i have my own clinic whatever information he told is not right. Dont misdirect anyone.. First thing after competing mbbs As a fresher u would earn 45k per mnth min fr 6 hrs shift its in only tamilnadu if u work in delhi the salary of junior resident is more than one lakh In tamil nadu medical colleges as a fresher junior resident doctor the salary will be 45 k fr a 6 hr shift if u work two shifts u can earn around 90k after gaining some skills and experience u can work as doctor in icu or er in any hospital the pay will be minimum 75k to 80k per mnth or if u work one shift and if u have your own clinic u would earn more if u complete your pg minimum salary itself will be more than one lakh amd if u do private practice also u will earn more than 2 lakhs after pg or if u build your own hospital or clinic u can even earn crores it depends Mbbs is very hard earned degree amd highly professional Only few people can become a doctor and finally u will get a lot of respect too After u cure a patient the satisfaction u wont get in any field This guy is demotivating and he dont know any facts Maybe he couldn't become a doctor so he demotivating others.. Finally I'm working in a icu I have three years of experience after mbbs my salary is 90k and I have my private clinic which I will cover in evening 3 hrs per day 3 to 7k I'm earning depends upon the patients load I'm planning to do pg in coming year as well

I regularly watch your posts.But the comparisons you are making with other jobs shows your irritation (not sure why) about people who are doing and in medical profession. Any jobs which may be considered as lower level also paying around 500/day & 15000/month.It doesn't mean that medicine is equal to these jobs.

15k per month in private hospital for post MBBS is too low! Average is 30000 INR per month even for freshers (MBBS).
Major factors deciding the salary are:
*Location (Whether you are going to work in Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 cities)
*Doctor's Skillset
*Communication skills
And PG/Super Speciality is not just about doing surgeries.
There are medical branches in Superspeciality as well.
Really, I thought if one gets into MBBS through neet she/he can earn in lakhs 🙀

Don't worry it will be given by the hospital of your college in govt colleges. Last year I made the same
AIQ-R2 choice fillng & new regn commenced so high score studnts above 620 may apply to only their wish & dream collges . So if seat is allotted in AIQ-2 join plz , otherwise choose your allotted stateQ.. So that respective and particular seat can be saved in state quota for other one poor TN studnt . Why shd V give up to other state studnts unnecessarily ???
Pg duration is 3 years sir! And PG resident Salary is 1 lakh only in prestigious institutes like AIIMS , VMMC, MAMC and such. Tamil Nadu la around 40k dhan! After pg, there is a bond in tamilnadu that you have to work in periphery for 3 years. Apro dha we can even apply for SS courses. But the thing is, we get paid during PG. There is a false news going on that doctors don't earn much as compared to engineers. Let me clear that up- After PG, when you work in the periphery- simply having a clinic apart from your regular day job will give you 5lakhs per month. It all comes down to how much effort you are willing to put! Work pannanum nenacha pannalam. Earn pannanum nenacha pannalam!

Mistake no 1:pg is for 3 years (diploma is for 2 yrs)
Mistake no 2:the starting salary of a govt doctor with only MBBS in tamil nadu is 57k plus they will get bonus marks for clearing neet pg
Mistake no 3:there are private hospitals which are paying more than 50kper month for only Mbbs, u just cant generalize that its only 15k
Mistake no 3:the stypend for pg differs in various states, in North there are colleges which pay 1 lakhper month while studying pg... And after that pg graduates earn more than 2 lakh per month for sure in any private metropolitan setup(it varies acc to specialisation)
Mistake no 3:there are super specialties both in medicine and surgery and super specialty holders earn minimum 50 pacs per annum for sure, be it any private set up
Mistake no 4:cost of surgeries vary accordingly..... There doctors who earn more than 10 lacs for a single surgery, like cardio and neuro surgeons handling highly complicated cases..
Ps :there is a very vast scope in different specializations (i am a final yr med student btw)

You cannot compare a starting salary after graduation to a mestri having 20 years experience. Most of the professions offer less in the beginning and they get more as they get experience.
