I was only 6 when he died but I remember how popular he made the nunchuck , I was poor so I would try to make a pair with and old broomstick and dog chain. 48 years later I still workout with Nunchucks.

Arnold Swarzenner is the closest guy in my mind that has come close to Bruce Lee, not in terms of strength or Power but success and inspiration.
Stallone is a better comparison since he also writes, directs, produces and acts and dies his own stunts/fight scenes. Arnold is great, but his career is over. He should have never gone into politics.

He invented MMA and the philosophy of mixing styles to what is useful at a time when that was frowned upon and martial arts masters learned one style when they were young and that was the style they used for the rest of their life.

My dad started watching bruce when he was younger, thats how he got onto kung fu films. i grew up watchin em all with him, loved them ever since. Without bruce there wouldnt be any of our other favourites like jackie, yeun biao, sammo, jet and donnie.....and i could mention loads more. Way ahead of his time. The GOAT

Everyone knows that Betty pei ting and her husband a member of the triads killed Bruce lee. This could explain why Betty was protected all these years and Betty and her triad husband have a child even though Bruce lee family wanted to find out who killed Bruce and my guess is that the triads must have threatened Shannon lee and her mum not to say anything. This could explain why Shannon lee dosent make anymore movies and this could explain why she didn't want her daughter to be a movie star.
These are my conspiracy theories about Bruce and his sons coverup:
1. WHAT'S SHOCKING IS: Jackie chan in a interview was asked about Bruce and his sons death and he quickly changed the subject and u can tell he was afraid to mention anything and he was shaking in the interview and Jackie chan is now the biggest name in martial arts some suggest he surpassed Bruce lee.
DID THE TRIADS THREATENED JACKIE CHAN? When ever he is asked about Bruce lee death why does Jackie shake?
2. Did the triads threatened Shannon lee and her family? Could this be why Shannon lee dosent make movies anymore? Could they know how he really died and Brandon death and were they told not to say anything? Why do u think Betty dosent talk about Bruce family or his son Brandon?
3. Steven seagal said in a interview he knows how Brandon lee really died. Does he know that if he talks about it could he have end up like Brandon? Could the triads have threatened Steven? Why dosent Steven seagal never talk about Brandon lee these days?
4. Did the triads threatened everyone in martial arts? Did they tell them to keep quite about his death? This could explain why Jackie chan is afraid to say anything when his asked to Steven seagal knows how Brandon died and he knows what happened on the set of the crow? Did chuck Norris know who killed Brandon and his dad Bruce?
5. Bolo young and carter wong are 1 of Bruce lee best friends. Did the triads threatened them as well and maybe they know who killed Bruce and his son?
6. What is sad and shocking is that Brandon lee was very suspicious of Bruce's death, and intended to personally investigate it when he was finished with his movies the crow but he knew what really happened to his dad and he must have found out the triads killed his dad and they got rid of Brandon.
Brandon lee is buried in his wedding clothes he got for his wedding day. He was suppose to star in 2 more crow movies to he was offered to play Bruce lee in dragon the Bruce lee but he didn't want to play his dad so that role was given to Jason Scott lee.
The triads control the martial arts movie industry and this could explain why sammo hung to Jackie chan to carter wong to Shannon lee to Robert lee to Steven seagal to Dolph lundengren don't talk about Brandon lee death as they must have been threatened by the triads and probably been warned by them not to talk about Brandon lee death.
Brandon lee fiancé had left and lost contact from Brandon lee family. Did the triads also threatened her? Could this explain why she is keeping away from Brandon lee family?

What's funny is that I used to hate martial arts (taekwondo) for 6 years. But after watching the ip man movie and realizing there are different types of fighting styles (sad I know). I didn't even know bruce lee was. I never realized how important he was and how the concept of Jeet Kune Do was so important, well to me anyways. I am now doing both kickboxing and wing chun and tbh it's both fun and a good learning experience.
It's better to burn out than fade away. He will be remembered and live on as he was, a giant against men.
This makes very sad. All 3 idols of mine are all dead. And Bruce Lee was already gone but I was even born. But I remember the 1st time I seen him in TV at the age of 11 or 12 it was like a life changer for me being fasinated and in love with sport and him. Till to this day.. but I love the legacy of him and watching him & loving everything about him. And there of course are sad things u don't wanna hear about his death and stuff but I like to hear how live and remember that not how he died. Bruce Lee was only 125 pounds when he died. He was not healthy, he took many cortizone shots to relieve his back pain. He overworked himself, did not eat right and was not sleeping.

Chuck Norris, Leo Fong and Dan Inosanto said Bruce Lee never stopped training, never let his body heal. It's like lifting weights 3 hours everyday for 10 years and not eating or resting to heal. Eventually you will die, the body shuts down.

I feel like his death could have been prevented. He passed out like 6 months before dubbing enter the dragon from the exact same thing. He was saved then.
Bruce also nearly died while making Enter The Dragon too, he ate some cannabis in the bathroom and collapsed which caused his brain to swell up. Fortunately the doctors saved him that time.

I'm 145lbs at 5 ft 7. Bruce was massively underweight and he clearly wasn't well. I don't know if I believe he was assassinated. But I think you are right. Bruce was stressed, never stopped. Over worked himself, I know he was apparently paranoid near the end. It's all sad and such a waste.

I buy the accidental death version of Bruce Lee. It is common enough that one can deem an aneurism the 'superfit' syndrome. Particularly with martial arts, micro-arterial fissuring from impact trauma creates the risk of dislodgements from the affected areas. The preceding headaches are a tell tale sign of this, and prescribed medications back then were notorious for aiding, rather than relieving in aneurismic risks. Medications that aim to dissolve trauma affected arterial regions have been banned in recent times for precisely this reason (increased likelihood of dislodgements and aneurisms in the brain).
What is much more controversial is how Brandon died. Allegedly, live rounds were emptied of their gun powder rather than the use of blanks or theatrical special weapons effects, but the wrong ones were inserted. It was a live round that killed Brandon Lee. I find it completely odd, in 1994, that one would even contemplate the use of live round gun powder siphoning. It offers absolutely no advantage in terms of cost or effect, and the risk is ever present because at point blank range (it is said to have been the scene immediately prior to him being thrown out of the apartment window), a small amount of powder residue could be lethal. I have heard talk about why they forgot which ones were live and not, but never why they chose to siphon live rounds in the first place. It just wasn't done (for point blank imitation). An overlay of special sound effect is required. The choice of a live round makes no sense. It wasnt a certain death sentence, but a highly probable one. It was literally a 'fatal' decision to siphon live rounds, and i have never heard any explanation as to why it was done in the first place. Perhaps you cannot underestimate human stupidity, but this just doesn't make sense on a movie set, given the conscious choice that would have had to have been made in using live rounds at point blank.

The next day, they had a powdered shell but with paper wad cutter .
The director wanted a close-up shot of the revolver showing leads in the cylinder.
After that incident, Hollywood no longer allows lead in their shells. And if you have noticed, they don't even point guns directly to actors anymore.

the guy was simply murdered and then alot of jibber jabber broke out to make up different reasons for his death, he was killed for having troubles with the triads since he threatened Lo wei who was one of them at a certain time with a knife!!!! Lo wei was a director, This whole saga was already planned a long time before it took place . As for his son Brandon Lee, he too was murdered because he wanted to look into his father's death after finishing filming the crow and to make matters worse he died while filming same thing that happened to his dad,brandon was killed to stop him from looking into his father's death . I was personally remorseful of there deaths as i realised later in my life. RIP to the two legends

Bruce Lee absolutely deprived himself and trained like a maniac. If you hear people talk of him on enter the dragon they say he looked emaciated, very skinny and he was 130-135 pounds. A full grown man btw, he looked great physically but his idea of training like a mad man sometimes 8 hours a day is not good for your health, even bodybuilders have an off season when they get off the dieting. Bruce didn't have an off season, he had reached his peak physically at the expense of his own health and safety.

Linda Lee (his wife) claimed Bruce had "cerebral edema" that causes swelling of the brain...there's more to it but I'm no doctor so...
They said Betty Ting Pei...the woman Bruce was seeing on the side...gave him some medication which gave Bruce an allergic reaction. Which allegedly killed him.
My question is this...Bruce should have known about his condition and what medicines to avoid. Some how BTP slipped Bruce some "medication"...causing his death.

I was 9 when my dad, its hard to be so young and comprehend what death really means. He was 43 died of a brain aneurysm. Funny thing is i dont remember him that well, but i remember the night it happened like it was yesterday.
