I didn't get any instructions at all for what to do with the strips and your video completely solved the mystery. Camera and narration are top rate. Thank you so much!
Excellent video . I would have been lost without your instructions. My instruction sheet was really off with the measurements. My back foot pads were a good two inches short
Great video. The instructions provided were not the best, but this video made it soooo much easier. The dimensions for my vehicle were incorrect and i had to do multiple cuts and maneuvering to get the rack to fit perfect.
Thank you so much. What I find very interesting is that despite how technical the instructions are with measurements you needed to adjust them anyhow. Could not have completed install on my 09 Ram without your help. Thanks again.
Thanks for the instruction! The instructions that came with the system are horrible. The racks themselves are great. It would have been difficult without your video instructions! Thanks again!
Helped me remove an existing rack on a pre-owned car. Very few videos on removal. BTW:The Rhinorack on a 2018 Volvo V60 Cross Country whistles Dixie All the do-da day.
I have to agree that the Rhino Rack products come with very scant instructions, and the components are not always the same as what is drawn in the paperwork. You either need to be a very accomplished problem solver or see these kinds of videos to sort out the problems....
This might be the best produced how-to on the interworld. Bra-vo. Any advice on re-using the rack on a different vehicle? I bought the new fitting but am intimidated by different spacing spec. Thanks all.
If I remember right my rack would fit a 2009-2014 Ford F150 truck. On their website Rhino has a Fit My Vehicle page where you enter your vehicles info. If the results match the model of the rack you have it might work to install on a different vehicle. I'm guessing not but it's worth a try. Here's a link to the page: www.rhinorack.com/en-us/roof
@@Iscaper Kerry I love your videos - well done to make the transition from your previous work and create a new life. I lived in Oregon for years. Many good friends there - of both political persuasions. Now I run a cancer charity in Australia.
Now that you have had the rack installed for a while, have you done a review? Have you had any issues with the pads getting loose? Would you use this system again, or would you Use a different type?
How do you figure out the measurements? I have a 2017 Fit and I have the crossbars already just waiting on the kit and foot pads to show up. But you didn’t show anything about how you got your measurements and what not.
I put the feet on finger tight and put it on the roof. When i was happy with where the pads were and the bar was even i measured the distance from the end of the bar to the most inside part of the foot. Then you repeat for all the feet and tighten

This is best and most accurate installation video for this rack on the F150.
Thanks!
Best You-Tube set of instructions I have ever viewed!!!! Nothing fancy, just very detailed complete and well illustrated instructions.
Wow, thank you!

I just purchased a Rhino Rack 2500 series and without your video i would have had a hell of a time getting this installed.. Thank you.....
Thanks Don, I'm glad the video helped.

Thanks Kerry. From Australia. Amazingly helpful and calm voice with no Hollywood hype. Are you sure you are an American?
Hi Pip. Yes I'm an American, not all of us are loud and obnoxious. Thanks for watching.

No problems so far and I would buy the rack system again. I do have to watch clearances when pulling into parking garages.
Thank you so much!!

Can rhino roof rack fit on a Nissan navara stx? Thanks
How high off of the cab does this rise? I’m looking for something that would be flush with my camper or lower. My shell rises 8” above the cab.
I don't have the rack on my truck right now but I would guess the bars were 3"-5" above the cab when it was installed.
@@Iscaper thank you for the reply!!
Is this fit for 2011 Ranger Sir
No, this model fits 2014 Ford F150.

If I remember right the measurements for you particular vehicle are in the owner's manual.
