oh my goodness! So glad you are showing how to remove press-on nails!!! SO HELPFUL
Thank you for watching, BP!! 🫶🏻❤️
Every day!! I have fine hair and if I don't, no bueno! I love your videos!!!
I love this video. ❤
I haven't tried press ons yet😱. I love watching and learning though🤩😍🤩. Happy Memorial Day!🥰😍😘💖
These WERE totally made for you! Love that length and shape on you.
My hair is like a long thick mop, so I only wash once a week. It’s a chore!
Thanks amu!!
Lol it’s a whole job!
@@MarlaKris Yeah. That’s what I meant. A whole entire job. 😄
OMG - I don't remember that episode! How funny. Now I'll think of that everyone I hear or say the word. 😅
I loved the video, thank you. I wash my hair about once a week. My hair and skin are dry, so it doesn't need it more than that, unless it's hot and I'm outside and sweating a lot.
When you put the tab that close to the cuticle, doesn't it raise the level of the press-on? I usually put it a little forward to allow the press-on to fit right on my nail. Maybe that's not necessary? Now I want to remove my current set and experiment. 😊
I'm with you...I wash my hair a little as possible!!! Usually 2 times a week...or every 3-5 days.
Wash my hair twice a week sometimes 3 depending on the week. I have very short razor cut hair. (Spikey) Love the nails! They look great on you! TFS! 💖💯
These are SO PRETTY!!!! My Snow White hair is colored like crazy to the Auburn I naturally was😂. I wash mine twice a week because I want my color to hold, but my hair isn’t as oily as it was when I was younger.
I swear by dry shampoo! Otherwise I’m a greaseball on day 2
Ohhhh thank you for this!!! I love these!!! i need short length though because i have small hands and smaller nail beds lol i have trouble finding them.
You’re so welcome, sweets!! They have shorties!!
@@MarlaKris I’ll have to look.
Thank you for this vid. My goal is to grow beautiful heathy nails…someday. For now. Press ons may be my best solution. I wash my hair once or twice a week. I wear it up in a bun much of the time and I think that keeps the oil production down.
Thank you for this video! I actually just tried a set of press ons for the first time. So easy to do. I like my nails shorter, so I just filed them to the length I personally like. I wash my hair every other day... I've got curly hair. Between the products I use for my curls and to combat frizz and running around it gets oily. So I have to wash every other day.
The frizz situation is REAL down here 🥴 I have naturally wavy hair and no matter what I do - I poof and become a whole lion
@@MarlaKris I started using a combo of 2 things and it helps control the frizz. I use Garnier curl cream, and marc Anthony curl it up volume spray. And let my hair air dry. Winter I dry with diffuser. Gives me volume and no frizz. I use the Marc Anthony curly hair Shampoo and conditioner or the not your mother's curl shampoo and conditioner. Works great.
Thanks for the video. Should you avoid using cuticle oil while wearing press on nails?.
I have this same question. What other options are there for dry cuticles with press on nails?
Once a week washes for me and my dry hair. Twice a week is healthy! Definitely not gross. 👏🏼💞
Thank you for the validation!!! 🫶🏻🥰
@@MarlaKris Once a week for me as well, dry shampoo as needed! Of course, in the hot summer, I will do it more often!
Hey Marla 🌺. Thanks for this video. You mentioned you can keep these on for a week. Do you think they would last 2 weeks? Have you or would you consider using the tab on your nail bed and then for extra measure putting a drop of glue on the press on so the glue isn’t touching your nail or skin directly ? I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
Absolutely!! Totally depends on how you prep 🩷
I also wash my hair twice a week. Unless I am going out for dinner with friends.
When I use press on nails with glue they will last about 8 to 10 days and then they start to pop off one by one by them selves. Sometimes one or two will be left over but the glue is so dried up by that time and all I have to do is use the orange stick and gently pop them off.
I wish mine would pop off like that! Glue is like cement on my nails!
@@MarlaKris I have the thinnest weakest nails ever. I am actually trying to grow them using the O.P.I. nail envy, and builder gel. I am going to start doing my nails again now that I have peel off base coat. I enjoy all your video!
@marlakris do you ever have water that gets trapped under the nail with the tabs?
Yep. That can definitely happen. Thats why I won’t wear press ons with tabs for more than 48 hours (more usually 24) so greenies don’t develop
Nail glue is tough on my nails, so I only use adhesive tabs with press-on nails. I use tweezers to remove the pesky adhesive coverings and then stick them to a strip of double-sided tape; no more rogue tab covers floating around the house. 😉
I wash my hair once a week to 11 days. Not oily, but when I do it I wash only my scalp. Rinsing out the shampoo takes any dirt out. In the summer I may rinse the sweat out every night. I always let it air dry.
I'd like to see how to make my own press ons. I'm wondering if it can be done with gel inside a dual form and remove the form. I may have to try that.
I had to take an extension break because of some filing damage I did to a couple nails near the cuticle area so I’ve started polishing the full cover tips using the little magnetic stands first. then I use base coat and peel off base coat over that . I use brush on nail glue to apply the polished tips. They last at least a week. I use one kills from jello jello to melt the glue and remove my nails. It gives me a very clean manicure. I can’t keep the polish off my skin no matter how hard I try when I polish my extensions on my nails
Hi Marla, I tried the BTArt adhesive tabs and had so much difficulty. After applying the tab to nail when I tried to remove the top adhesive the bottom tab attached to nail would pull off also and leave a gummy mess. The ones I did get on were not attached good at all. The nails felt like they were lose and falling off the next day. Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong or is there another brand adhesive tabs that holds much better and easier to apply.
Any help appreciated!!

Hey love! I’ve found that if I don’t prep my natural nails, the adhesive doesn’t stick well. I like to give my nails a gentle buff me then cleanse them with 100% acetone.
I bought a couple of pairs of these yesterday . If I knew you were making a video about this product I would have bought them through your affiliate link so you could get credit for the purchase.
I mean.. there are more 🤣
if you do not want to waste your cuticle oil for the removal process mineral oil works great and is less expensive
Ooh! Good to know!!
I have naturally curly hair and it is grey, so twice a week is all this gets, unless there are unusual circumstances like pool time or sweating (aka glittering - lol).
Do these ever feel lose…I did kiss pressor once and within a day would notice a weird wiggly or just lose feeling? Would love to do this as it looks so much easier and I like the French look but takes so long with dip and other products I am allergic to. This looks very cool.
They’re actually pretty solid! I like to apply them before bed so I don’t have to touch water and in the morning, they’re completely secure!
I’ve had the wiggly feeling and it has made me not want to try it again. I will try another time, but don’t care for the loose feeling on some. Perhaps I just need practice!
How do you find the durability? I find with most plastic glue-on nails, the paint on the ends wears off and you see the plastic base color, or sometimes if I accidentally hit something straight on, it will actually make a dent in the plastic? Eventually they end up looking obviously like a fake plastic nail?
I have put clear builder gel and then top coat on press ons and they look good and hold up well too. It takes away the plastic look and protects the printing on the nail
Man, I thought these were going to be press ons you painted. Hmm, may have to try to recreate.
I've tried to use the tabs, but the nails move...quite a weird sensation. I even purchased the ones you recommended, not sure what, if anything I'm doing incorrectly!! Any ideas?
So, water is the enemy! I like to apply them before bed so I don’t have to mess with water for a while. It gives the adhesive a chance to really secure itself on the nail
@@MarlaKris So can you get greenies from water getting in?
@@FlopsyGuitarBunnyI’m late to this but: when I’ve used adhesive tabs, they don’t stay on long enough for that to be an issue.
These suit your fingers well.
My hair, I wash when depression allows. You know I keep it real. Other than my roots, the rest of my hair is normal to dry, so i don't need to often.
I’m sorry that you’re suffering with depression. the smallest tasks like showering became almost impossible for me the last time I had it really bad. hang in there. You’re not alone.
I wash my hair like every 7 days or so.....just depends on how dirty it looks or feels. I'm like 85% gray/white so my hair is totally different than when it was dark!!
I buzzed my hair off in January of 2020. It is now past where your bra runs across your back. I wash my hair once a week and it’s never oily or dirty looking or feeling. I live in NV so summertime I wash my hair anytime it’s needed due to the 117 degree days that makes it necessary sometimes daily but I’ll let it air dry
I totally hear you on washing hair for different seasons! It’s already humid down here in FL so it might be an every day situation soon 😂
@@MarlaKris I grew up in PSL and I remember well 🥵
@@LookingForThatBlessedHope I’m going into hibernation until October
@@MarlaKris 😂😂
@@MarlaKrisfellow Floridian here, sad thing is that my ac is so poor it's sometimes cooler outside 😂😂
Once a week. My hair shed a bunch after being prescribed a particular medication so I want to be extra careful with the new growth. Never greasy.
Dry shampoo? I swear by the stuff
I have a really hard time getting the plastic off of the tab. It’s super frustrating 😞I’ve tried different brands
You sometimes really need to massage the tab into the nail before removing the plastic piece
@@MarlaKris I’ll try again! Thanks. By the way, I only wash my hair twice a week.😊
@@jeanniepagano2481 yay!! I’m not gross!! 😂
Once a week!!! The "secret" to healthy hair. 😆
You're supposed to only wash your hair every 3 to 4 days
I guess I’m winning! 😂
2 x a week. I don't style it or even blow it out because i wear a scrub hat at work.......bad habit. Hair cut next week!!!
