Yeah, we were playing soccer (ik I’m American) and I am not even good enough for my school team, but I still destroyed our schools girl soccer team. Though I am technically junior varsity level, I have medical conditions that are holding me back from playing school team.

But yeah it just kinda sucks that we're all just lumped as either average buff or fat. But it's not just that like there more to it than just those basic weight clases.

I believe I'm gender neutral sports, but that's because I believe in something similar to a weight class adapted for the other sports. Swimming has shown me that a women with a nice amount of natural testosterone can look just like a man/trans women swimming. So why not put people in sports based on their body more so then gender? Like of course the women who somehow is 6'0 is going to dominate basketball with other women, so why not make her play against people of similar height? Of course there are a few sports that I'll admit, would be impossible or very difficult to add a thing like this but a lot of sports have the availability to do away with male/female sports just by adding like a lightweight/heavyweight kind of system to it. If a muscular 250 pound tank of a women wants to go toe to toe against a male similar to her, then sure. A lot of sports is ruled by genetics, if your born with the right set of genetics and ect your gonna be better then people who weren't born with your genetics 9/10.

In Highschool, I was on the track team. I was primarily a high jumper, as my main event. Keep in mind, I am very short(5'3''). Some guys would open at my pr. A local dealership always shoots a commercial with one of the Highschools sports teams. This year, they did track. The student was a girl high jumper who was much taller than I was. I watched her jump, take after take. She was jumping 4'. She biffed it again, and again. My pr is 5'4". Seriously, I could scissor kick the height she was at. The biology involved meant it was easier for me, someone who's about a foot shorter, to just demolish her attempts.

Really good example is soccer. Men and women overall play differently. I’ve noticed/experienced men’s soccer is technical and involves more foot work while women’s is more physical and pass oriented. Playing against the guys was always a fun scrimmage in the summer while in high school, but it was hard because they’re bigger, faster, and play differently

(i say all of this as a person who plays co-ed volleyball so i’ve played with both genders) men have a biological advantage with the added muscle mass and over abundance of testosterone, so the divide is pretty necessary for it to be a fair game. you could in theory pair men and women up of the same physical skill/class and have them play, but honestly who has time for that. there are always exceptions of course! i’ve played with beefed up 6’0+ women and men who were shorter and had less muscle than i do, so it really just depends. it’s about building each other up and helping each other with our strengths and weaknesses

A local dealership always shoots a commercial with one of the Highschools sports teams. This year, they did track. The student was a girl high jumper who was much taller than I was. I watched her jump, take after take. She was jumping 4'. She biffed it again, and again.
My pr is 5'4". Seriously, I could scissor kick the height she was at. The biology involved meant it was easier for me, someone who's about a foot shorter, to just demolish her attempts.

@@DuckFNBR Depends on the sport, soccer is more on the male side due to there being more faster stockier and taller people which is what you would want. However, something that doesn’t require that could definitely be more equal and could live with both genders being in the same leagues
Really good example is soccer. Men and women overall play differently. I’ve noticed/experienced men’s soccer is technical and involves more foot work while women’s is more physical and pass oriented. Playing against the guys was always a fun scrimmage in the summer while in high school, but it was hard because they’re bigger, faster, and play differently
As a man, that was the most respectful humbling I’ve ever seen

(i say all of this as a person who plays co-ed volleyball so i’ve played with both genders) men have a biological advantage with the added muscle mass and over abundance of testosterone, so the divide is pretty necessary for it to be a fair game. you could in theory pair men and women up of the same physical skill/class and have them play, but honestly who has time for that. there are always exceptions of course! i’ve played with beefed up 6’0+ women and men who were shorter and had less muscle than i do, so it really just depends. it’s about building each other up and helping each other with our strengths and weaknesses
