+Ruby They don't strike me as cheap though. But my idea of cheaper dupes are Real Techniques price.
Are Morphe brushes that good? Because with all the hype on UA-cam I wonder if it's true or not. I've also heard of Bdellium Tools, Sigma, Makeup Geek brushes, and Zoeva are good
+Rachael Saavedra it depends how many you buy, they're cheap in comparison to sigma and Mac and definitely most high end brands, I love them but not the eyeshadows. They have exact dupes for Mac brushes most of the time
+Rachael Saavedra most of their smaller brushes are 5$ (not including tax or shipping) which they have more of a variety compared to RT brushes, I love their brushes, but they don't have a wide range of styles
+Rachael Saavedra morphe brushes are definitely affordable. the Revlon brushes are more expensive and they're crap. Sigma brushes are very expensive

I'm a stat at home mom who once in a while does like to put on makeup as look pretty but soooooo many makeup tutorials and makeup artists shame drugstore makeup and make you feel pressured to buy the over priced high end stuff. My hubby does well for himself but I ant justify spending $54 for an eyeshadow palette!!! Thank you for your frugal Friday videos showing us that there are beautiful products you can find at Walmart, Target, CVS, Wallgreens that will make us look just as pretty without having to remortgage the house!!! Can't wait to binge watch all of your videos!!! New subbie!!!!!! :)

+Jenn B try it in Sephora in the dip pomade. I thought it would be too dark but ended up loving ebony even more than dark brown. Theyll give you a sample to take home and try. The pot of it is way more product and way less $$... if ur wanting to try high end and not feel ripped off

The Simple Micellar Water is almost ingredient for ingredient identical to Mac Fix +, except the caffeine, which does nothing for your skin anyway. I have just been refilling my Fix + bottle with Simple for about six months now. You get twice as much for about 1/4th the price.

no prob! I'm trying out one from Lumiene next, got at Rite Aid for $9.99, so a little more than the Simple water, but a similar Glycerine based water. However I saw the Lumiene has some Hyaluronic Acid so I want to see if it's good.
That's so cool because I was just researching hyaluronic acid. I knew it was used as a filler, but I didn't know it could come in a mist. Thanks for letting me know. :)

I own Mac Soar lip liner and Essence Satin Mauve and when I swatch them Satin Mauve is noticeably cooler, more purple than Soar so they are close but I wouldn't call them dupes. BUT I found another affordable lip liner that's a dead on dupe of Soar - it's Jordana Easyliner for lips in Tawny :)

Being a teen, I don't have much money to throw around to experiment with, and your Frugal Fridays make it SO easy to find things I'm looking for that are really close to high end! I love love looooooove finding dupes that cost like a 1/3 of a high end one. Your skin type is really close to mine except I have freckles and have a combo skin type.

Jordana matte lipsticks are amazing and they deserve more hype! I bought two just to test them and wasn't so sure that I'll like them because they were so cheap. I ended up loving them!! They are as matte as I love, but not drying at all. And they last for a good amount of time. I wear them almost everyday! I think I need to buy more colours!

I actually hate when I buy a cheap lipstick and realize it's a dupe for a high end lipstick that I've already owned 😒😒 I feel like I just lost money buying the high end one lol
I actually bought the Milani blush thinking it would be a dupe for Exposed. But it's not to me. The Tarte one pulls more rose on my skin while the Milani one is more neutral. The Tarte one also lasts longer.

The Tarte one is more pigmented. You need more layers with Milani's blush. You should try their baked blushes. They're stunning!
Wanted you to know I got the QVC deal because of YOUR demonstration which was much better and realistic than the tv. It looked on tv that the brush was really pulling hard oh the model's skin. Hope that's not true. Love your hair. Mine used to be kind of like that when I was younger. Grey now!

I don't have Tarte's Exposed because when I wanted to buy it, they were out in Sephora but I ended up buying another dupe in Sephora called Shame On You by Sephora. It may lean a little towards high end, but it is so similar to Exposed.
I think it's awesome that there's a drugstore dupe for it and carries a whole lot more!
I think dupes are often like grocery store dupes or their brand! The makeup Sometimes must be made by the same company only marketed as high end and if they make too many they sell it to lower cheaper brand

does the NYX primer increase the intensity of the shadows applied over it as much as the nars one does??

I have been wanting a Dupe for Expose for years. It has been one of those you think you have something to dupe it with all the blushes you own but I didn't and never found a dupe online.

I love your videos. You should do some diy dupes. There are a ton of people doing mac fix + and urban decay all nighter. I would be curious to see the wear test on oily skin. The spays use glycerin, witch hazel, aloe gel, rose water/toner and distelled water. The ones I have made so far seem to work well. The actual primer use aloe gel, moisturizer and a pinch of powder.

NU37 Beige Truffle Maybelline ColourSensational lipstick is also very close to limited edition Ever Hip by M.A.C and also Nippon (Cremesheen) by M.A.C. There is teeny finish difference and Maybelline is also a hairline more plum. But really, no one knows when on the lips. And I prefer the feeling of the ColourSensational formula on my lips!

I just wanted to tell you these dupe videos have been extremely helpful to me, and that I've gone to some of the products you've suggested; I just bought a Milani liquid eyeliner, and it is absolutely perfect. I just want to add that if you've never done/are planning to do a dupe for lip glosses, Loreal's Infallible 8 Hr Lip gloss in Sunset is almost an exact copy of NARS Orgasm lip gloss- the NARS is just a hint more orange/peach. These videos give me such a sense of satisfaction, is that weird? I mean, I love my high end products but to be perfectly honest, when I buy something super expensive I then find myself almost saving it for "special occasions". On days where I know I will be around the house or not really seeing anyone important, I tend to reach for more drug store products and it's great to know that I don't have to sacrifice quality or the looks I'm fond of wearing for affordability. I didn't have good luck with Revlon's Sky Pink lip gloss. Beautiful color, but I had to keep reapplying it. I'm hoping they improve the formula so I can wear it again.

The "Walking on Eggshells" palette from W&W has been one of my great "workhorse" items for a very long time. I love it, and I didn't even *know* it was a dupe for something fancy LOL. Great video!

This is neat because I could never justify buying high end makeup, so it's nice to know I can buy stuff that looks just like the high end stuff without the cost. I already have Wet n Wild's Walking on Egg Shells but never knew 2 of the colors are the same as UB Naked palette. Very cool
