I actually am not a fan of the proshot, the video/audio quality is better but it uses way too wide of angles often, and changes constantly which makes it a lot harder to appreciate the choreography. I think it also just feels way better in a smaller venue where they aren't spread so far.
Well I agree the proshot has the better audio and he should definetly watch this one too. But with fancams you can see the choreographie much better. Proshot videos sometimes really do a bad job with showing of the choreographie imo because they cut around too much. But he should definetly watch both versions :D

At first I wasn't sure about this song, it was too different, and I'm not a fan of so many effects on Su's voice. But quickly I recognized how awesome it is, and I love the fact that they still manage to make me go "WTF". What surprised me even more (although it really shouldn't anymore) is that Su absolutely kills it live! I never expecteded them to perform it live at all, I thought it just wasn't possible. Being an old school hiphop head, I was overly critical of this song when I first heard it, and the effects on Su's voice irritated me A LOT. There are not many good female rappers who do not sound cheesy or weak, and those who are able to pull it off have set the bar VERY high for other females....which is why I was very critical when first hearing the studio version. But after watching the live performance of it many times, BxMxC really grew on me...Su is definitely able to pull off rapping without sounding or looking cheesy. Her live performance of this song always blows me away, especially since we all know she is a sweet and dorky girl in real life!
When this song first came out and I bought it on Ototoy since it was japan exclusive originally, I thought "it's amazing too bad they won't do it live.." and BOY was I wrong. The choreo and Su performing it live absolutely KILLS it. I was so impressed and happy to see it
This is my favorite babymetal song, possibly favorite overall song at the moment. The live version from LMG is the best, but this music video was pretty sick too. So glad they released the video AND more importantly they released the song itself on all platforms outside of japan for the first time so it will get more recognition as it deserves.

I think the singer from Band Maid is very very talented, but I guess I am not into her tone or sound, or something, because I just cant get into their songs. The music sounds amazing, but there is something about Band Maid's vocals which is not appealing to my ears. It's a preference thing I guess. I don't know if I can say if one is a better singer than the other since I am not a vocal teacher or educated critic, but I just know that I prefer Su's singing and voice WAAAY more. I can listen to Su's singing 24/7.

Yes, this is the first real MV from Babymetal after all the live MVs and the 2018 MVs which didn't have the girls in the MV because of Yuimetal's absence because she wasn't healthy. Yep, their is some autotune like stuff at the end of some of the worlds, during a live show she does most of them live. Which actually makes it better. But as usual Babymetal live is better than album. :-) And no, I'm not aware of any Moametal rap in this song, which is to bad. Their is some of that on this album though. Obviously we would all want to see Yui again, but it's not gonna happen. Babymetal genre smashing is one of the best things. This is a 'metal battle rap' song. Su-metal flow is amazing for someone who isn't known for her rapping abilities, basically her 'first full rap song' and just killing it. PS 0:45 their is a beep in your audio, some phone notification or something. It's just a single one, so no worries, but maybe want to prevent it next time.
You've got to monitor your volume levels, man. The sound from BxMxC is muffled, and the sound of your microphone is distorting (too loud). Takes away a lot of joy from the reaction.
Thank you for bringing attention to this, I'd been putting the volume up on my edits due to them seeming a bit quiet, but it seems I've gone too far the other way! I'll adjust this for future reactions 👍 As for the muffled sound, that's an issue with my speakers. I said in a comment on FB earlier I'm sure as it's the ten year anniversary this weekend I think they could have at least put in a small reference to Yui, perhaps Moa could have worn Yui's right glove, I wonder how many people would have spotted it. Hey Brit! Good reaction! "BxMxC" stands for BabyMetal Cypher, and it's a straight up Su-Metal battle rap. It's a huge fan favorite but it's one of the two Japanese exclusive bonus tracks on their latest album "Metal Galaxy". A year after the album released they've decided to make a music video and release this song internationally! A lot of the fans thought it'd make a good MV and it seems they listened. The format of the video looks like it took elements from the "Epic rap battles of history" youtube channel format with a little Mortal Kombat thrown in for good measure. Your ears do not deceive you, they did some autotune effects for the studio version, however Su performed it live all through the last European tour and at "Legend Metal Galaxy" at the beginning of the year.

I get a chuckle when people say Saiki from Band Maid is a better singer than Su. I love Saiki from Band Maid but she’s a couple of levels below the Queen
Let's just say they are different singers. "Puzzle" and "Anemone" sung a capella by Saiki were very touching to me, so to bring her down by comparing her to Su is really nonsense imho.

I think the singer from Band Maid is very very talented, but I guess I am not into her tone or sound, or something, because I just cant get into their songs. The music sounds amazing, but there is something about Band Maid's vocals which is not appealing to my ears. It's a preference thing I guess. I don't know if I can say if one is a better singer than the other since I am not a vocal teacher or educated critic, but I just know that I prefer Su's singing and voice WAAAY more. I can listen to Su's singing 24/7.

Yes, this is the first real MV from Babymetal after all the live MVs and the 2018 MVs which didn't have the girls in the MV because of Yuimetal's absence because she wasn't healthy.
Yep, their is some autotune like stuff at the end of some of the worlds, during a live show she does most of them live. Which actually makes it better. But as usual Babymetal live is better than album. :-)
And no, I'm not aware of any Moametal rap in this song, which is to bad. Their is some of that on this album though.

Babymetal genre smashing is one of the best things. This is a 'metal battle rap' song. Su-metal flow is amazing for someone who isn't known for her rapping abilities, basically her 'first full rap song' and just killing it.
PS 0:45 their is a beep in your audio, some phone notification or something. It's just a single one, so no worries, but maybe want to prevent it next time.
That beep is from my computer, it always pops up at a random point so occasionally makes it's way onto the recording. Very irritating! 😁

You've got to monitor your volume levels, man. The sound from BxMxC is muffled, and the sound of your microphone is distorting (too loud). Takes away a lot of joy from the reaction.

Thank you for bringing attention to this, I'd been putting the volume up on my edits due to them seeming a bit quiet, but it seems I've gone too far the other way! I'll adjust this for future reactions 👍 As for the muffled sound, that's an issue with my speakers. I'm planning to either get better speakers, or use the audio from the screen capture, although that may be a tad more complicated for my edits... I'll figure it out 😁
