Sheer insanity. I started applauding my computer screen when the song ended. Everyone gets 5 out of 5 stars, especially the gentleman doing the Belew part, for he really pulled the elephant out of those strings
There's a group of TEENAGERS in the School Of Rock program who did a bang-up job on Three Of A Perfect Pair. They were AMAZINGLY good, and you can find the clip on UA-cam.
I dont mean to argue against your excitement and stuff... Well, the cover is decent but... Well, did you see Tony Levin and Robert Fripp playing this song? Type in yt something like "Tony Levin Elephant Talk".
I've caught every KC tour since Nov.7th, 1969 at the Kinetic Playground, Chicago, IL, I caught the Discipline tour Nov.13 th '81 at the Agora in Atlanta driving from Orlando Fl This was the first tour after KC, (Fripp and Bruford) had taken a 7 year hiatus ... (7 hr drive after a 7 year wait :- ) This past July, I caught their show once again in Atlanta, this time only a 3 hour drive from where I've retired in N Carolina. Sadly I believe this will be Crimson's last tour. Elephant Talk a famously difficult piece from a band famously fond of difficult pieces. Congrats YOU ALL NAILED IT ! !!! !
What?! Someone doing a cover of 80's era King Crimson?!! Who in their right mind? Of course you have to click on that. What I wasn't expecting is such a fantastic performance! Very well done gentlemen! Bravo and thank you for keeping this alive to younger generations. I'm sure KC is honored to be grouped with Primus and Tool.
Greetings from Denmark, here. (I don't know if that's important... Just want you guys to know that you have caused global joy with this one. If you are in doubt.) Fantastic job. We were so happy over here when Crimson reincarnated, and this cover emits such warm vibrations. The athmosphere around it - the garden, soft rainy weather, around 30 people in the audience, the playfulness, incredible sound - is so cool. Perfect frame for super musicianship, thank you.
my dad, whose dad played him that record when it came out and has multiple copies himself, clapped heartily after watching that. he says that you made it your own.
Man I clicked on this honestly expecting to be as let down as I've been when searching Dixie Dreggs covers. FABULOUS job!!! If you guys were playing in a venue full of folks in the know, they'd still be clapping. You guys didn't play an homage to King Crimson, you nailed Elephant Talk. BRAVO!!!!! Buy your sound man a beer, the snare was perfect, the mix was on the same level as the musicianship. Completely blown away ( drummer of 40 years and Crimson fanatic)
These guys did an admirable job. If you're interested, check out this Dregs cover. ua-cam.com/video/l4Bw1Se3vtU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PerryBarton The guitar player recently joined a band I play keys for. How I catch breaks like that, I cannot tell you.
The vocals were good but actually there wasn't a lot of actual singing of course I'm not sure anybody would want to try to sound like Adrian belew mother was an excellent cover from an old man that's got a Lark's Tongue in aspic Eclipse tattooed on his arm
This turned into a very pleasant surprise. The lead guitar was maybe a tiny tiny bit off near the beginning, but came good and then some. The bass was spot on, but it was the vocal that really surprised me. Such a clean and clear vocal. I would love to hear him sing some other stuff.
I have to keep coming back and revisit this, and it always seems to surprise me with how good it is. I wonder how many people in the audience appreciated what they were listening to, and how exceptionally well it was being played and sung?
It's brave to take on a classic few in the crowd would be able to appreciate. You were meticulous in your rendition and when you did your own thang at the end - quite tasty.
Outstanding! Superb musicianship, not only technically, but also, making a (difficult) classic your own. I am a very happy listerner. Thank you, YT algo. You've made my night,
Very ambitious and impressive cover. Totally impressive. Wow, thanks for bringing this the younger generations. Just so good. You guys nailed it. Thank you.
I never even dared suggest the idea to any of my bands. Impressive performance. I can feel the soul of the song that has been baffling me for over 15 years from that legendary live performance. How bold and how amazing!
Sheer insanity. I started applauding my computer screen when the song ended. Everyone gets 5 out of 5 stars, especially the gentleman doing the Belew part, for he really pulled the elephant out of those strings
Fripp was certainly smiling when he decided to not strike this
Really nice sound quality and performance
Vocalist does a great job calling back to Adrian's vocal performance while making it his own.
Excellent cover. I've never seen a band attempt a Discipline era KC song.
umphreys mcgee did thela hun gingeet and RED with adrian belew sitting in
@@alexmello9192 so did les claypool’s fearless flying frog brigade
Not from Discipline, but the same lineup...Between the Buried and Me did a respectable studio cover of Three of a Perfect Pair.

I saw a band in FL do Frame By Frame in a tiny dive bar. Crimheads are everywhere
Brilliant version. That deserved a MUCH bigger audience.
They will. 40 years from now, this video will rival some pop artists, trust me!

@@krowaswieta7944 You're kidding, right? That's the original.
@@LightsGoneWild What :D? Well, yea, it should be entitled "cover", but the owner of the channel is a cheeky bastard.
@@krowaswieta7944 They say in the video it's a cover lol. I don't think anyone's here under the impression this is an original song.

Holy smokes. Never expected to see Elephant Talk covered - and so well! Great video. All performances were amazing.
Unbelievably excellent, as good as the original record, hats off 🙌
A risky endeavor covering crimso. Especially the weird 80s crimso. But, outstanding work! You guys nailed it! Way to go
so much talent out there hidden from the corporate world.

Pretty much NAILED IT!
I was skeptical at first, but yeah - you guys pulled it off... Very well done!!!
Puede y debe hacerlo mejor!!! Nada inalcanzable!!!
No way! To even dare to do this... and to execute so well! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Even trying to cover this crazy song is worth kudos, let alone your version. Respect guys!
Dudes... Bravo!
my dad, whose dad played him that record when it came out and has multiple copies himself, clapped heartily after watching that. he says that you made it your own.
Only clicked on this to see what a mess they'd make of this. What a daunting song to take on! Guess what? Thumbs-up! Well done.
Happy to disappoint, thank you for watching. Have a great day/rest of the year!
Wow, gutsy....great job! I hope your audience appreciated this. Been a KC fan since the 70s and definitely was not disappointed!
The Cover of All covers.....WOW..been a KC fan forever....5 STAR's Sam....
Thank you! Check out my latest one of Neil and Jack and Me!

Props to the bassist for handling his instrument as both a bass *and* as a Stick 'lite.'
Super cover, 2:05 and Michael Myers appears to be running through the woods behind you
Excellent. It stands up.
Bicker...banter....balderdash...great job fellas! Love to see this...
Wow ... awesome sauce! loved the Discipline album since inception.
That was awesome. Vocals are spot on.

Brilliant .I felt exactly the same when I first heard Red by Crimson in 74. .Well done boys

Flipping heck lads. I hope your audience realise how technically difficult this music is. You have nailed it. This is nomean feat
Holy crap, that was AWESOME! I can't believe how good that sounded! One of my favorite songs ever.
Top job guys, deserved a bigger audience 👏 👏👏
That was f#CKING awesome.....GREAT JOB guys, fun to watch.

A real good performance guys, all of you did a great job. I have never seen such a good KC song not played by any of their members. Congrats!

Ambitious 😎 excellent job 😎👍🙏
Wow. Had to listen to it a few times. Great vocals. Great everything actually.
major applause for even attempting Elephant Talk, it's a beast of a song and you guys did great.
Excellent! Great bass playing rendition of a Chapman Stick touchboard. Brings back memories when I used to play one.
Wow incredible job! That’s amazing- I would never have thought anyone would cover KC - massive talent thank you!
Wow. Wasn’t sure what to expect , but it just sailed out of the stadium👍🏻👍🏻
Absolutely phenomenal! Nice work guys

Well done indeed! (And someone buy that man a Stick!)
Outstanding! Superb musicianship, not only technically, but also, making a (difficult) classic your own. I am a very happy listerner. Thank you, YT algo. You've made my night,
Everything that comes from King Crimson... Is hard than you think... Amazing performance!
Bravo Guys, well done. I have my Beat tickets for the Clearwater show. Stoked!!!
I grew up listening to King Crimson from my brothers! Love this. It’s perfect for you guys!
Very ambitious and impressive cover. Totally impressive. Wow, thanks for bringing this the younger generations. Just so good. You guys nailed it. Thank you.
Yessss finally good cover of bizzare 80's KC music👐🏼👐🏼
I have seen them in Montreal in the 80's, it was the tour for the album discipline.
Great job, guys. I love the 80's Crim, too.
Great, great job indeed! A risky choice, which did not let down a crimson fan such as me! Bravo!!
Really good job... Quite the song to attack... Love this song.
BADASS!!! You guys Rock!!! Great cover of that song!!!
Excellent!! Having watched the original being recorded, I say Yay to dis viersion!!...... Yes, I'm old......

That was awesome! Love the bass tapping, and figures it takes two of you to cover Tony! Great tune for an outdoor barbeque.
Soulful cover. Exquisite!

Bloody Great, Mates!

Thanks for the memories. What an incredible song, album and band that was. Excellent cover!
Holy shit this is so good!!!!! Such a hard band to replicate, but this was spot on! Fripp is impressed, he just wouldn't dare admit it....
I love the way the guitarists alternated between the individual Belew and Fripp parts. Great cover!
Congratulations!!! Is an excellent approximation to the perfection of that interpretation!! Is very cool 😎
What a great rendition…. You guys have great skills and talent ! Love it !
Excellent! Also, such a nice venue for a concert.
Fantastic boys
That’s my favorite era of king crimson 🤘🏻👍🏻👍🏻
