- As I write this, I have tears in my eyes. I am so so proud of everyone who has taken part in this, however big or small that part has been, it has mattered. I believe that this is the best piece of work that Andy and I have ever created. We have enjoyed making this video so much. Disabled on my own at Christmas as I have been since 1977 terrified of the brown envelope from the DWP if you're lucky enough the family or friends around you that are alive give them a hug you never know when they might not be there the best Christmas advert I've ever seen not people stuffing themselves with food and god bless anyone who's going to be in hospital over Christmas

26 and 27 years ago, we were those parents sitting beside our childs bed in hospital at Christmas. The Make A Wish then granted our little girls wish. We were so grateful to them for helping us make such magical memories because by 25 years ago our lives were devastated because we could not sit by her bedside anymore.

As i write this in tears, i realise that we have lost the meaning of Christmas and the everything that goes with the Season Of Good Will To All Men. I have watched this with a mixture of sorrow and despair. In a world where we are told we cannot call it Christmas because it will offend some people, where billboards scream Happy Holidays and we are more concerned with the Elf on the shelf than our next door neighbour, i find myself constantly questioning where we have all gone so wrong. Homeless litter our streets like forgotten waifs of a bygone era, our elderly sit alone, too afraid to venture out or put their heating on for fear of the cost and children suffer in poverty. Your advert should be shown on national television, on every channel and at the very peak of viewing times. Instead, we will be bombarded by adverts for food we will throw away, half eaten or out of date, Credit Cards we cannot afford, £450 hair stylers and perfumes galore. This will be my first Christmas 'alone' for many years, but you have made me realise something. If i can talk to just one other person who is alone this Christmas, spread a little cheer perhaps, then perhaps it won't seem quite so bad. I watched this Advent ,& with in a heart ❤️ beat i welled up with emotional,this advent shows the ture meaning of Christmas 🎁 also how thankful i am.
All my family is gone now,i only have my older sister,we always spent Christmas 🎄 together, what ever life throws at us.
So this message in this advertisement is clear; be selfless & if you can't give anything GIVE YOURSELF.

Wonderfully evocative ad. Shows that in the final analysis love, kindness and friendship are what actually matter. I'm 76 in 19th January. I'm look like the Santa in the film. I'm lucky enough to still have my lovely wife, 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I realise how lucky I am. I'm realise it won't last for ever

I'm on my own this Xmas as most people have written me off for having severe suicidal depression after helping my older brother care for out Mammy who died after seven years of vascular dementia. I had to quit my career but
A it's the best thing I have ever done
B it's broken my financially as I had to cash my pension in . I had a great career in advertising and used to be the guy that friends turned to when they were short. Now that I have signed on the dole after working consistently for 40 years my "mates" have dropped me like a stone and I would normally volunteer at Christmas but I am not healthy enough to do that so it's a wee bit of chicken,cabbage and potatoes
There are so many people who are far worse off than me so well done caring enough to write this ad

It wont cost you anything but 30 or so minutes per week on the phone in your own home, and I promise you you will get as much out of it as they do. So real and honest .... too many people have forgotten what Christmas really means. There is too much greed and commercialism. For people who will be alone and those children in hospital and their families, they are reminded of this as early as Halloween and right through to new year. For those with little money and who have children, the pressure is on that Santa will bring what they ask for. It's just sad.

I cannot tell you how hard this production hits me, but in an absolute wonderful way. In America, the advertisements are always trying to sell something during the Christmas season with very little concern given to the needs of others. I always look forward to the UK advertising, as well as other European countries, for a deeper meaning in the message conveyed. This one though hits me right in the heart. As a Santa Claus portrayal actor, I know those smiles first hand. The young and the elderly recognize the red suit as a symbol of joy and kindness. For the child, living life day to day or struggling to hold on, Santa is like an angel sent from above. For an elderly person, it is the familiarity of a past memory that re-ignites the glow of Christmas. The smiles and hugs I have received form those two esteemed groups are worth more than any amount of riches. The truth of this production lies in the fact that as we go through this world daily we fail to recognize those around us that need hope and kindness most. This is not just a Holiday message this is a life message. Give more of yourself daily to those who need it most and you will come to know the overwhelming joy of living life beyond yourself. God bless you for producing and sharing this.

I was once a child in hospital over christmas. Still remember it - even though almost 50 years went by since then. A visit from Santa would have helped to cover up the lonely time without my family
