The AWACS is a pain on that mission because he talk too mutch .1 time we were run of time due the AWACS , he talk and we have the times up just before hace access to the central shell .
I've had the exact same thing happen to me, he talks shit for about 30 seconds between the second and third phases of SOLG I & II, or the third and fourth of SOLG III
A much more epic version of SOLG compared to it's origin, Ace Combat 5. They really did some work with the sattelite. But they need to improve AWACS Heavy Cloud's voice acting. It's really shitty and annoying, especially on the last part when there's a small amount of time left and his chatter's holding up the mission.

It's so cool that they would modernize and improve a boss from an older game, but it also feels ruined by annoying chatter that makes it impossible to enjoy the music as well as teammates who destroy most of the targets and somewhat steal the glory. That's why I would greatly prefer a remaster of the old games over whatever infinity was.

I also own an F-14. But I have the F-14 Zipang version and it's my second best aircraft. Still fights like a beauty.
