That Iskender Kebab looks so yummy. In the US, it's usually served as a casserole dish with the all those layers of richness. You could not eat this dish everyday.

He can say himself secular, but more than 90% population of Turkey is Muslim and they proud of that. Ignore him. The state system can be secular, but that can not do people secular. (They didnt ask people for secular system. If they did, Turkish people didnt accept it.)

FitAngie I am Turkish , have been living in states for a long time . Couple of years ago me and couple of my buddies went turkey 🇹🇷 and I took them to this city Bursa. Bursa is very special city for Turks cause it was the first capital city for Ottoman Empire very old city. Architecture in this city is amazing. And let’s talk about food, that particular kebab is amazing. My buddy Jason had two of those plates 😂

Bursa is very underrated and unknown to the international tourists. Many know only about Istanbul, Antalya and other beach resorts but don’t even know how many other nice places and cities Turkey has.

Great documentary. I grew up in Istanbul and my dad used to take us to Bursa when we were kids. The only thing I think you did not mention is Bursa is located on the skirts of famous winter vacation spot where ski resorts are in Uludag. Cheers!

It almost tastes the same as English breakfast tea, but we really don't like putting milk in our tea, just plain sugar and almost always drink it hot. We use glass cups, because we like to check the colour of the tea. It must be a reddish tone, there is even a saying as red as rabbit blood to describe delicious tea.The Ice tea is really not popular here, if you must drink something cold it is most likely fruit juice such as apricot, peach or sour cherry.
