I remember a fan provoked and antagonized Charles Barkley in a Houston bar way back in the day while he was with the Rockets and Barkley threw him through a window.(this was before the internet) Some lazy reporters said Barkley went too far, that the fan didn't REALLY do anything, blah,blah, blah. Well, he must've done something. In my opinion, as much crap they hear everyday, he had to say and do something serious if Chuck was going to throw him through a window. Media-that's wrong. Me-sounds like someone got what they asked for. 😛

I had this at work once. Fat white guy comes up to me (skinny white guy) at the water cooler. Does the whole look-both-ways thing and says
“I’m not racist, but these black guys I’m workin’ with, man, they’re so lazy. They all are. You know what I mean?”
I just stared at my water filling… it’s half-full… do I just run out of the room, or fill up the rest of my cup?
“Yeah, man” he continues, “They know they’re just here for the diversity quota, so why work? They’re scam artists.”
I decide I gotta get the hell out of there, so I pull the water cup away, and it spills some on the floor. Without missing a beat, the dude lowers his voice even more…
“Dude, there was water in the floor here once, I slipped, but I was fine, but I told ‘em I jacked my back. I got fifteen grand for a “slip n’ fall”!”

@@Schedule1ne315why exactly is that the right move? So you can assert your moral superiority over the office racist? If someone can’t figure out for themselves that there is no correlation between skin pigment and work ethic I doubt someone is going to one day “open their eyes!” If you wanna call them out, fine, f ‘em. But it would only be the “right move” if it actually solved something. Otherwise, people are allowed to be racist and arguing with them at the water cooler about it is rarely going to solve anything, unless you’re goal is to cause unnecessary drama in the office or make a new enemy.
