I was at IOM TT this year and it was somthing special that is for sure
True Dunlop really pulled it out of the bag this year, He looks set to follow in his uncles footprints (hopefully not to the same end).
Having said that we can't forget about McGuinness, he had a bad TT this year with the exception of the TT zero due to his injured wrist but I think he still has a few TT wins in him yet. I just hope his performance this year didn't put him off to much as I would love to see him match Joey Dunlop's record.
Personally I am a massive Guy Martin fan and hope to see him win a senior next year. Although he stuck up for the Tyco Suzuki bike & team I do think the bike let him down a bit this year but definitely a talented rider and a hugely passionate personality for speed and engineering.
Good luck Guy for 2015.

Respect to the man giving it 110%, but agree his bike does look ridiculously unstable.
Of course its unstable. Cuz they are riding at speeds close to 250+Kmph. They have to make decisions in split second.
Andrew Calcote you have to remember the Tyco Suzuki's haven't really changed in the last few years so for him to do so well vs the brand new designs of the BMW S1000RR's, Ninja's etc. Suzuki have always made cracking bikes but the BMW's are something else...

Is something wrong with his setup ? Looks a bit wobbly when he backs off the power or is he just backing it in and gassing it up and generally having a good old laugh ?
Guy's bike is all over the place compared to BA's, watch Bruce's onboard from his fastest lap, it's really sorted almost no weave other than the jumps.

Its actually the real speed. If you watch the rider in front transitioning from left to right at corners his not moving ridiculously fast as it would if its sped up. On camera the more narrower the road the faster it will seem to be. Check out the other vids with isle of man races and you'll see more of the roads they race in. You'll notice the more narrow it is the faster it'll look and the more wider it gets it'll start to look more slower. Its a camera thing. ;-)

Motogp is not even close to this race. Even motogp more fast but its super safe track even if the rider crash on top speed but they are almost 99% safe but this track are really dangerous for 300km speed. One mistake, one death!
