I thought that this would be important information to share, given the environmental context of this video. 35% of all ocean microplastics come from clothing/textiles, mostly polyester, but also acrylic and nylon as well. This is largely due to clothes made of these materials being washed, which causes these clothes to quickly erode, with the microplastic fibers entering the water system and eventually the sea. Ocean Hero is a great search engine that we can use to help clean up larger plastics before they disintegrate into microplastics.
That scene was so romantic though. I don't want to be pushy or anything but, can you guys make Paper Mario next? And perhaps Paper Mario: The Thousand-year Door and Super Paper Mario? That would've been awesome! As always, take your time, alright. No need to rush.
I like how their designs were slightly updated to reflect the characters having more polygons than they did in 64.

As someone who loves this game and played it every chance he could, the amount of accuracies portrayed in this video is beyond hilarious. Especially the goopy inferno, that shit was HELL
Literally fiery hell.
It wasn’t so bad for me. I learned the trick of going into the lake and using the water to make a path towards the platform FLUDD is. No, the real headache is the pachinko level and the poison river level along with the requirements for accessing the level.

I love that, for as much as this pokes fun at the game, its *literally* impossible to depict these scenes with such accuracy without absolutely loving the game
My favorite detail is Piantissimo with his mask off at 6:00, only real G's know that he's just the postman from OoT lol

The funny thing is I can picture Chris Pratt voicing this Mario.
I love how mario's design here gives him taller eyes and eyebrows, giving him more expressions and thoughtfulness. Unlike mario 64's design, where he looked like a carefree dimwit.

Yeah, i hated when those animators on youtube who kept treating mario himself like a laughing stock who always portrayed as an arrogant jerk or a bad guy because of matpat's stupid video about mario is a psychopath or some other video game parodies on the internet that kept overusing jokes like, mario is high on shrooms, mario murders innocent goomba families, peach having affair and cheated on mario with either luigi, bowser, or some random character. It's just not fair for mario these days.
People who portray mario as a psychopath are psychotic themselves and are taking their own insecurities out on him because they are rude bullies

Even though exaggerated, still very accurate to what that game feels like at times, enjoyable, challenging and frustrating. Super Mario Sunshine was one of those games that defined my childhood.

"I'm a Chuckster" is the Mario universe version of "Hail Hydra". The number of times I've been thrown to my death by these goons is immeasurable.

Mario actually acting gentlemanly at the beginning was surprisingly refreshing. And he actually cared for Yoshi. This is a GREAT parody just from that alone, there's just a TINY amount of wholesomeness lurking among all the T or M-rated laughs.
Funny enough, the only legendarily terrible struggle I had with this game was the hotel mission (and a bit of Corona Mountain). I didn't really struggle at all with the watermelon or I'm a Chuckster. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Even with Cas' humor, and edits, it still has that sunshine nostalgia. its my favorite mario game when i was a kid. also make all three if you want. it'd be awesome to see recaps of them. your recaps are amazing, Cas.
I grew up with Mario Sunshine and replay it every couple of years to this day, my face and sides hurt from how hard this made me laugh. This really made my day, I'm not exaggerating in the slightest.

This whole animation was so colorful and charming! I don't even own the game but as a Mario fan, I'm so delighted to see the toads, the delfinos and so many bits and that felt so true to the universe (like Bowser falling pathetically at the end). You really nailed the silliness and cuteness of the franchise! Luigi had me rolling, the poor guy 😂 Love the Peach and Mario moments too, they were so adorable!
