    Thank you for your honest user review. I've been eyeing this product for well over 2 years now.
    I'm planning on pulling the trigger in October of this year.

    Hi great review, seriously condiering buying the H3, What is the upgrade cost from H3 to H6, and is it cost effective? caquse at the end of the day i think we cll want H6 :)

      @@bingolio Gday mate......from recollection its about $us3000~ to upgrade from H3 to H6........the H6 to purchase is the most expensive in their range of models so if it was me I would go the H3 and use it for a while. That way you could then make an informed decision whether or not the H3 provided you with the level of immersion and reality you are seeking. In the end its a personal choice. In my case I'm more than happy with my H3 and as a retired Commercial pilot I can tell you the realism when combined with vr is exceptional. BTW, if you buy the H3 use the WIZARD code for 5% discount and if at a later stage you do decide to upgrade you can use the code again for a further 5% off. Would be interested in what you decide so an update would be appreciated. You can also direct message me on my Discord server and I will be only too happy to assist with any other purchase or set up questions you may have.....

    I found your review of the DOF Reality H3 Motion Platform very helpful. I have just taken the plunge and ordered the H3 but I am now researching a flight seat to attach to it.
    My Hobby room is 177cm in height (Flat Ceiling) and so I was wondering what the total height with the seat mounted onto the H3 is? Are you able to measure the height for me.
    Kind regards
    Mark

      G'day mate.....currently away in the outback so cannot measure but my rig with seat is less than 177cm as I'm 187cm tall and rig height would more than 10cm lower than me

    Great review. I am about to pull the trigger on the H3 with SFU gearbox. However, been a MSFS in tubroprops, i am a gently flyer, and have been scared by the "cogging issue". Has this been an issue for you? Its a real buzz kill, because everything else about this rig and company i really like.
    What you saying there chief??

      Yes, some jitter noticeable in very geñtle turns etc, but I would liken it to like flying thru very light air turbulence (just like the sim vr guy puts it) and in no way is it a big enough factor to not jump into it......everyone I talk to who has a DOF R rig say the same.......and DOF R are now testing an upgrade they believe has addressed it.....but overall its a very small distraction when you compare it with the just incredible level of realism and immersion the rig delivers right into your home at this price......and unlike the fulltime utube reviewers who get given their rigs for free to review, I paid full price plus expensive cost to deliver to Australia, and my reviews are just my honest opinion........if you would like another persons opinion, can I suggest you send Triton (lives in the USA), a member of my discord server who flies every week in my flight sim multiplayer events, a dm via my server (discord link is below video) as he purchased on my recommendation and he will be only too happy to let you know what he thinks of his H3.....hope this helps mate

      @gunpilot thanks so much! I'm going to buy it, I have decided! I only have to figure out if the price is also in Euro or only in dollars, in the website despite selecting the European country, appear in dollars. I just joined your discord server by the way!

      @@GunPilot Really appreciate your passionate and lengthy response. Hats off to you for being a straight forward no nonsense talking reviewer. These youtube bunnies have gotten me into all sorts of silly things. Lesson learned with them, mostly sponsored, or freebie talk.
      I will make the sensible decision, and keep saving (next month i'll be ready to by) and wait and see if developments take place with DOF. If not, i'll probably just buy it anyway. As you say, i can chalk it down to a bit of rough air. By god.....i bet the jets are just amazing!!
      Really appreciate it gunpilot. Thanks buddy.

    Any videos or tips on SRS profiles sliders you use for MSFS?

      @GunPilot  Місяць тому

      @@markm75 gday mark......there is a link in the srs app to the user manual which should sort you out.....tips from me, 1. Set yaw telemetry number to minus, mine is -4, otherwise the yaw movement is the wrong way, 2. I set max movement slder up to to 90 as at 100 I have experienced it locking up if i do a violent roll, have to reach down then and turn controller box off and on again, prob a safeguardvif you put the h3 past its max extension in roll axis.....hope that helps

    I also have a H3 motion rig, I've only been using it for 1 week so far. So you're using the H3 for nearly 6 hours a day? Is this not too stressful for the H version (as opposed to the P version)?

    • @GunPilot
      @GunPilot  4 місяці тому +1

      That WAS a big consideration I had to think about prior to going H model but now, after 11mths solid, and I mean very heavy use, it's still as good as the day I first jumped on it....initially for the first 3 mths was reguarly monitoring motor temps as a warm to hot motor is a good indication of an over stressed rig......never felt the motor temp above cool to touch......cannot praise the H model enough.....and the proof of its success is that it is by far the most ordered model from DOF R (as stated in recent interview with DOF R CEO)

    Great 6 month review, just what i was looking for having just bought an H3 myself. Haven't got it running yet got to wait till I'm in my new place to live. High quality review with all tham points that i wanted covered were.
    My only critisism would be i hate the Fake computer voice and while i know my self that most people hate the sound of their own voice when they hear it on tape or video I think your Videos would be better if yo used your naturla voice as these fake voice over programs are really obvious to my ears and i just grates on my ears listening to them.
    Obviously this is just MHO but as stated great review and Happy Flying bud, Liked and Subbed
