I am Korean and have oily skin that lacks moisture. Senka Cleansing Foam is a little dry, maybe because it has a strong cleaning power, so I use a powder-type enzyme cleanser and cleansing oil. Cleansing powder is mildly acidic, has good cleaning power, and my skin is not dry, so I keep using it.😊 And Goodall is a vitamin C derivative, so I recommend a powder type that contains real vitamin C. Vitamin C is irritating, so use a small amount of powder mixed with essence or cream.🍋
@@yoyaikookYes. They have different types of Toner. I use the original (the orange one) its very easy to absorbed and very runny. If you live in another country though.. you might like the white line better to make sure you are still hydrated (especially on winters)
@@LisaJohori honestly didn’t feel like it made much of a difference.. it was soothing and it makes my skin a bit softer but i think for my combination skin i would prefer something a bit stronger and most astringent. definitely for people with VERY sensitive skin and not much acne or dark spots as it doesn’t really fix that much. just sort of makes your skin have softer texture and absorb more moisture. i don’t dislike it at all, just looking for something new.
@@plentyoftreats It's really hydrating and will also help in skin brightening. If you have dry patches then it won't won't worsen the dryness like some toners do but make it more plump. I've used a few toners and this one's my favourite so far.
I tried the moisturizer from the Vitamin C line and it was amazing. Very good for sealing off my sheet mask essence AND it has tiny pearls in it to correct your hyperpigmentation:))

i use the senka perfect whip cleanser and i like it! a lot of people dog on the product because it is a very strong cleanser and leaves a dry and tight feeling depending on skin type, but as a gal with very oily skin, the strong cleanse is honestly what i need. and i easily avoid the tight feeling by immediately using my snail mucin after cleansing. i wouldn't recommend this for dry or sensitive skin types. but if you're very oily and desperate for something that'll wash off all oils, i recommend the senka cleanser. but hydrate your skin afterwards.
I bought the Perfect Whip foaming cleanser, including the foaming net, when I was in Japan. However, both me and my daughter found it far too drying for our skin. As for sea water, I wouldn't use this - it's likely full of microplastics, like everything from the sea nowadays - more than anything else. Hello! I use Korean skincare products for a while now, they work super good and I get "glass skin" easily. But I have a problem : after like 2 hours, the driest areas of my face (around my eyes and mouth) get super dry again as if the moisturising agents of the products didn’t actually penetrate the skin there and just stayed on the surface… The skin still looks glowy/oily visually but feels super dry and tight and makes many tiny wrinkles at the smallest move. I tried several products for very dry and dehydrated skin but nothing works! I don’t know what to do anymore ; what do you think ? Do you have any tip I might have missed ? Thank you!!
I think hyaluronic acid is the culprit. It doesn't actually penetrate the skin barrier like glycerin does, and just sits on top of the skin. It has its use, because it gives you that plump look, but if you don't use a powerful occlusive to seal in the moisture, or if the air where you live is dry, it will simply draw out the moisture from deeper layers of your skin, and it evaporates, leading to dehydrated skin. I had the exact problem as you did, and when I cut hyaluronic acid from my routine and started using glycerin-based moisturizers, it went away. A lot of Asian skincare overdoes it with HA. It's literally everywhere. You can still use it, but cut down on how often. And if your main moisturizer is HA-based, you need to have an occlusive moisturizer which you use after it, or change it to a different one.
