Thank you for sharing your struggle! I also broke a piece off, when trying to release the tab, but it did not seem to effect anything I actually found it harder to put the drawer back together! On the plus side I now have one sparkly clean drawer! Debating whether it’s worth it to do the other 2 drawers.
No!! That "tab" does NOT get removed by what she is doing. She is prying the tab "down". That is not the way. You need to press the tab "in". Press it together and look at the tab to see how the tab moves. So you will see what you need to do to that "tab". It is NOT EASY!!
