JTAC stands for joint terminal attack controller. They are qualified service members (so Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy) who direct the action of combat aircraft. Typically the Air Force is well known for having the TACPs and CCT, which is there primary job. Where as a JTAC could be a Ranger, Marine or SEAL and have that as an additional skill.
Do you know of a plate carrier that only has the front plate with an h harness or x harness back? I have the 1000 pack with plate for my back but being in a vehicle I want something that doesnt get in the way and push me off the seat 6 inches.
tasmanian tiger combi rig qr, or tasmanian tiger chestrig mk2. they are both chestrigs which can fit a plate in the front, and if needed you can buy an adittional piece which replaces the back harness with a plate compartment. but they can fit a plate in the front, even with the harness in the back. combi rig retails around 250 € in multicam, mk2 around 150-180 €. if you want to be more modular ( above chestrigs have fixed pouches), you could go with the stridsväst 12 by snigeldesign, which is the new carrier system of the swedish army. it can be customised pretty good, and most importantly can also be configured to a plate in the front and h-harness in the bag. retails around 150€ but comes with tons of pouches included.
Get a JPC or AVS (I believe it fits on an SPC as well) and replace the rear plate bag with the pack. I assume you're talking about the AVS 1000 pack so I'd go with something it was designed to work with rather than something from Tasmanian Tiger.
@@nikanor8152 If thats the case, i would recommend that too! didnt really know what the 1000 pack is but still felt qualified to answer bc in my unit we exclusively used chest rigs with heavy backpacks, lol.
