9:27 This green jelly is called cincau (green grass jelly). Cincau is made by juicing the Cyclea barbata leafes which is a species of flowering plants that was commonly used as a medicinal plant in Java. After juicing the leaf, then they let the juice dried and turn to jelly form. We usually mixed this green grass jelly with sweet water to neutralize the little bit bitter taste comes from the green grass jelly. Suggestion on how to eat is to eat the green grass jelly together with drinking the sweet water.
the green"jello"drink is called es cincau hijau. it's a grass jelly drink with shaved ice and brown sugar syrup, because the grass jelly is plain, that's why they put brown sugar syrup to balance it out. while there you straight slurping the brown sugar syrup without eating the grass jelly, that's why the sweetness feels Overpowering.
The green drink is called cincau. Its madw from grass and supposedly good for your stomach and metabolism. You probably drink the unstirred sugar at the bottom, or probably it is made too sweet, it's streer food afterall
Tuktuk or bajaj more expensive than taxi because a lot of fresh air 😂 The green jello called cincau. You have to eat it with spoon not with straw because you have to mixed it well
You can request the sweetness level by the way. Cincau or grass jelly is made from leaves. It's good for your health especially after eating so many spicy food. Because it contains many of antioxidant

The green one is cincau and must be stirred before drinking if not too sweet. 😊 The other which was sweet outside is gemblong.😊 You tried all the Indonesian food👍
didn't you stir your grass jelly drink? because the palm sugar syrup is in the bottom of the glass, so you basically drunk the syrup only, that's why it's very sweet.
If you buy the Cincau (Green drinks you bought) make sure to stir it first since the palm sugar sat on the bottom of the cup. That was why it was too sweet
The stall behind you when you eat that gorengan (pastel and roti goreng) is Xing Fu Tang, it’s legendary boba milk tea. I don’t like boba or any other solid stuffs in any drink except it’s Xing Fu Tang, you need to try it if you have the chance :)
