Why not just start AJ Green and play Andre Jackson in the non Giannis minutes and pair him up in like Dame/Khris/Bobby lineups so his strengths on the defense side actually get maximized and his weaknesses would get minimized. Essentially the fit is bad when him AND Giannis can’t shoot 3’s
I think someone in the coaching room needs to tell AJax to spend some time with PC, while I know the fan base hates PC I think he’s one of our best cutters off the ball and finishing from cutting knowing where and when to cut. If Ajax learned to do that he’d be serviceable offensively.
Ajax normally brings speed and good defense altough I think now he has started many games he's started to relax and get lazy, hes not even completley useless from 3 but if he improves his 3 point shooting he could be elite.
Middleton can't even handle being a third option anymore. If the Bucks have the opportunity to get Jimmy, they literally have to if they actually want another title.
@@dwill2187 I strongly disagree. Forget Jimmy im not gon lie. that wouldnt do nothing but make us older, with less shooting, Jimmy is very overrated. Middleton just getting off the injury, Give him some time. Khris Middleton helped the Bucks win the championship. Jimmy never won nothing.
I think all you guys are wrong. Ajax is our best defender but Doc Rivers doesn't know what he's doing. Ajax cannot hole small guards he is 6-7 😂 you start Ryan Rollins at the 2 take out Taurean Prince and start AJ at the four. The bucks will go on a 10-game winning streak. Now you have two point of attack defenders in at one time who can cover for Dane Lillard's no defense
0:21 *Without Middleton* against one of the hottest most talent filled teams in the league… so by your logic we should get rid of Middleton… at least we can develop the potential of AJax, what is Khris bout to do? Develop a 3 like Brook in the second half of his career? Lol maybe he can develop into a player that plays, that would be cool lol
Middleton could score 25 a night on a team he’s the prime scorer, but he’s on accommodations the rest of his career, and appears to play safe to make it to another game too often. Health matters- and it’s obvious he won’t be the goat to often worrying about twisting an ankle.
The Miami heat won games with jimmy suspended right now, coincidence? It just sounds stupid. Kings won all their games when fox went out for a couple games, coincidence? Like what are you saying, the bucks are better without Middleton? Then they would just cut him from the team
Go 2-8 without Middy. “We’re losing cause he’s always hurt” we win without him “we’re better without him” don’t matter what happen your takeaway will be to hate
@ bucks used to have all starting 5 that can defend but Dame can’t and more so Brook is old now. Few drop coverage defense now. Bucks needs Ajax to slow down pgs which has been helping defensively.
I like this team but we have to pray we don’t go against knicks in the playoffs cos with Lopez and bobby we not beating the Knick’s Kats gonna be averaging 40
Till Middleton is off of accommodations he belongs coming off the bench; Jackson barely plays despite starting, he looked awful against Brunson and excellent against SAG. He needs a chance to develop with constant play time.
Not really, Rivers will forget who he is on the bench. He is the only player who is not score first, only one that jumps on defense, I don’t think the bucks will be a great team with just shooters- especially streak shooters that can be shut out with a little defense.
@@darkdevil1669 I can confidently say no one on the team is allergic to playmaking for others as well as themselves, being score first is not a negative rep, the whole goal of offense is to make sure the ball goes in the basket before anything. We have many capable scorers but it’s not like they don’t pass. The whole team has willing passers it’s a part of the culture on the team. The “just shooters” is a blatantly false stereotype or narrative. Aj Green for example is seen as some weak defender, shoot only player, when he makes great reads, sets up teammates with and without the basketball, and plays tremendous defense. Ajax is starting purely to play defense and pass to people… and even defensively he’s not even impressing that much
@@darkdevil1669 “the only one that jumps on defense” Giannis and Brook are literally first team all swat, even Lillard got a chase-down last game. I will agree Jackson not playing smart of late, but he needs to suck to ever get better, he should be guarding his man full court and denying the ball, on offense he should be setting picks and moving without the ball. Rollins would be the only one I would want to see replace him. You got to develop players by playing them. Middleton is not dependable to be a starter. Needs days off, minute restrictions, I don’t see the plus not starting him. Trent was awful as a starter, Green seems easily stopped because he only shows he’s just an open shooter.
Honestly compared to other players he doesn’t get payed much money at all but like it’s not really his fault there are bad and good players and he’s just a bad player that shouldn’t be playing much, let alone starting. It’s more of the coaches fault. Yeah he does cut sometimes but the timing is off that’s a good point. Regardless he should be a spark off the bench 9th man not a starter

We don’t need another guy standing around at the 3 point line, he needs to develop inside game, offensive rebounds, not 3s.
@ his inside game isn’t atrocious tho yeah misses some layups but he is always going for offensive rebound and being active on the glass
Brook Lopez has consistently been our third option throughout the season
That’s a fact.

Ajax needs an off-season with a great shooting coach. Until then his role is to disrupt the beginning of each game for one key player.
Be like finding a free throw coach for Giannis, if anything he needs to rebound better and stop forcing passes, plus stay away from 3 point line
Love the videos good bucks win 💚
Ajax is better guarding bigger guards Doc need to stop having Ajax small guards
Ajax is like a small forward and powerforward
@FrancisL-ed4ic I agree 👍🏾
Bucks need Ajax in the point of attack . Ajax took bucks to good defense team.
We were a great perennial defense way before Ajax… 😂last season was uncharacteristic because of all the bad signings
