Synopsis: Koffi (35) lives in Belgium and is about to become a father. He sees this as an opportunity to return to his native country Congo with his girlfriend Alice (30). He was rejected as a child, now he wants to reconnect with his family. Despite his girlfriend's pregnancy, his mother is still unable to give him love. Helped by his sister Tshala (30) and Paco (12), an outcast street child, Koffi and Mama Mujila (65) eventually learn to understand each other.

Was expecting a horror remake and instead rewarded with an aesthetically intriguing, fresh new horror film.
You must have been watching a different trailer then.

I cried all the way through this movie . It broke me down !
I thought this was "The" Omen movie when I watched it at home but I was wrong. I still finished it anyway, it's about toxic relatives lol

@Slampty lol..I don't disagree unnecessarily... I have seen many movies in foreign language.. parasite from South Korea was a phenomenal movie I watch a lot of horror from South Korea and Japan... it's just a lot of work to visually watch the movie roll my eyes down to see what they're saying.. it just takes me out of the film sometimes
