Have already started ordering some Hope goodies for my new Santa Cruz V10.( Hopefully arriving soon in Australia) Red & Black Tech 4 brake set. Red V4 Ventilated rotors. Hope Fundamentals flat pedals. And new Hope carbon cranks with red bits.
That stunning blue 31.8 x 32mm stem couldn't of arrived on the scene at a better time. I'm about to up grade/bling my Crafty 😂. Loving the Bronze also.. It's just a shame there's no Anthracite/Grey colour in the Hope range.
So let me get this straight, SRAM have created a whole new standard, making it difficult to replace parts for all of us who don’t have the UDH. that standard now means bike manufacturers have to make over complicated designs with more servicing costs and more drag in the system so chain growth doesn’t rip the mech off (Guys words not mine). It begs the question what was wrong with the previous AXS system that we absolutely NEEDED to do this!!??
@@GuyKesTV so, I’m not questioning you but surely not if frame designers are having to add pulley wheels to stop the thing getting ripped off (or breaking chains)
@@GuyKesTV cheers Guy, speaking of old school i just bought USE's latest wide2 carbon bar, it's very nice and well priced, the last time i had USE bars and titanium seatpost was probably 1990....
Yes that foam core is meant to take some sting out of impacts. I’ve seen it work with bars so it’ll be interesting to see if it genuinely works with these.

I was over the Hope bling phase a long time ago! But now I’m interested again 🤦🏼♂️😂👍🏻
Would be great if hope would sell green hubs and brakes to the general public
That’d be like being able to buy a Red Bull helmet though
4:57 Interesting design.

Are you sure? They definitely used to have a gunmetal ano
@@GuyKesTV I've searched, but sadly I've not found anything. It must have been discontinued.
@@dirtyoffroader2093 damn. It still might be worth ringing them just in case they have some gathering dust somewhere
@@GuyKesTV I don't think they have offered gunmetal for about a decade! :)

Oh that’s easy. There was nothing wrong with it 🤣 T-Type is proving tougher and more foolproof once it’s set up correctly though

I wish they made 42.5mm stem or even 45mm stem and 2.3mm floated rotors 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Having been let down by the bronze colour this week, it's a shame it doesn't actually look like that and not burnt orange..
How close do you think the bronze is to Kashmir coating
It's ain't.. trust me, it's more burnt orange
@@leec692003 shame, the missed a trick there
I remember buying my ti-glide hubs when they first came out, do you recall what year they were released? I'm guessing 1994
Ti Glide for rim brake was 1992, disc version was 1993

@@Timtheranger I’ll have to have a look. Do they still come pre drilled for direct fit stubby bar ends? 😂 or was that X-Lite 🤔
Are the new stems available in 31.8, 35mm length?
There’s a 31.8 x 32mm, 35mm and 40mm
Looks like a pretty Trek Slash?
If i could i would, my bike deserves a full set of bronze.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. Just after I got a ton of purple for my next build 🙄
The 916 looks like an trek slash
3:46 dampener? Self wetting you say?

@@GuyKesTV but you said wetting, does it have water absorbing properties?
