I mean grunts and marines take more damage than us on legendary. CE was a fair challenge and dying on legendary was mostly due to player error rather than the sandbox and AI being unfair. From H2 onwards every enemy fires so fast it's like they're moving plasma turrets
It's basically an elite ultra, not sure why you are surprised. . . They even show you during the opening of Halo 2 that these are commanders of the fleet.

He even makes fun of him saying Ha ha. The gold elite's mistake was jumping so hard that he fell into a position where the blue elite only waited for him and gave him a forceful blow to kill him.

I remember hearing the unreversed elite lines but never really heard them used in game until now. Very cool! You can really hear David Skully and how he was masked really well before.
And may I also point out just how satisfying it is to hear a hearty "wort wort wort" right before the agonized screams of multiple Unggoy as their corpses go sailing through the air.

That line is in fact in the original released game. They will only say it (and other standard English lines such as "see you in hell") after they kill you, and rarely at that. Let any elite kill you a few times up close, you will hear it eventually. That said, it, their death screams, and their various growls actually aren't modified from Johnson's lines but from the placeholder lines they had in the beta, they were pitch shifted to blend right in with the reversed johnson lines.
Its kind of amazing and shows really good programming that he can attack enemies mid air. I love enemies. Honestly halo 1 programming is really good. in 2 and 3 I felt they were worse programmed.

I really love the Elite Zealot and it is a powerful artificial intelligence. But I think it is unfair that in these simulations he wins over the honor guard elites, the ultra white Elites and the council elites. If we did a simulation where they start where they already have the energy sword, they would clearly easily beat the elite zealot because these are higher ranks.

The Tartarus part is very true. You can see dead bodies as you finish the mission. Even with the Zealot elites.
Arbiter is smart enough all it takes is plasma rifle to destroy the shield and a headshot from the beam rifle.
