- We present to you, More! A multi-animator project that shows the deeper emotional side of Queen Coral of the SeaWings dealing with the losses of her daughters and possible heirs to the throne.
I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY PROUD OF EVERY PARTICIPANT IN THIS MAP. Everyone did such an absolutely gorgeous outstanding job and I am so honored to have been able to host this masterpiece! Everybody captured the emotions and mood of the script and concept for this MAP so well.
Also, a little Happy Birthday to Halsey, who made this song! It’s her birthday on September 29th, and since she created the song “More” this works as a little tribute to her for her birthday.

After all that suffering from seeing her daughters get killed and murdered life and destiny United and gave coral not one but three living daughters, coral's whole goal was achieved whilst completing her purpose: loving every single moment with her daughters

I think that Coral's sons from hatch they had to take care of themselves.
@@BigBomb361 yeah I think that coral also had a love for her sons too but when the murders happened and she lost her husband she ignored every single one of them since she only wanted heirs to the throne who could be useful,so the princes had to take care of their younger brothers (since there are so many) feeding them, helping them grow, teaching aquatic and everything else
I love the little detail of the words, “I will protect” on Tsunami’s scales when she’s holding the egg. It’s a nice nod to when in the book she tells her mother, “I will protect” in aquatic.

This is the most heartwarming map I’ve ever seen, people may think they Coral is overprotective and evil, but inside she’s heartbroken. She misses Orca everyday and loves her dearly. We should respect Coral more and not think of her as a villain.
True, all she truly wanted was a daughter who survived to adulthood and beyond
I agree. I dont agree with what she does but i think people forget ever since Orca every daughter was murdered by the statue so shes not just doing it just bc. Its a life and death issue that hadnt been solved and her daughters were still at a high risk of being killed
@@Celeste-jh2lj If Tsunami hadn't stepped up and exposed the Orca statue for what it was, Auklet wouldn't have made it and no one would've figured out why the dragonets in the hatchery were always being murdered.

-has a daughter with her husband
-kills daughter in the right for the rule of the sea kingdom as is tradition when challenged
-her other eggs get smashed by an unseen perpetrator
-one of her eggs are stolen by someone she trusted
-her husband gets captured and becomes a prisoner of war
-she keeps the second to last egg she had with her husband and hatches it herself, latching it and harnessing it and then the newborn so that she is always with the baby because she is so paranoid
-her lost daughter returns
-the individual who stole her egg returns
-she faces the realisation that her last egg will also die
-her long lost daughter protects and hatches the egg
-she realises her daughter that she had to kill is the reason her eggs have been destroyed
honestly i don't blame her for being a bit touched in the head

-she also learns her husband died, but doesn't know who killed him (tsunami doesn't tell her)

@@catjones3731 i'm more referring to things she personally knew about that drove her into paranoia but my friend and i spoke about this! she never knew or found out that tsunami killed gill, from what our collective memory could remember anyway.

The imaginary dragonet is an illusion sent by Orca before she died.
It was meant to drive Coral off the moons.
But Tsunami and Anemone ruined that and now the ghost of Orca is plotting a vengeful return...

Can you possibly imagine how Coral felt when Anemone was born?
She laid curled around her egg for all the time it took incubating, which is probably like a year if you consider how a human baby takes 9 months before it's born. And then, after waiting there for so long, bending her own schedule, her own life, her own needs for just a single, healthy daughter after countless of her unborn children had been killed, Anemone's egg hatches. And there, in her trembling hands, rests a beautiful, healthy, living daughter. And she knew she would love her with all of her heart, until it broke from it and until it throbbed in her chest every time she saw her daughter, knowing she had finally had someone. Someone to raise, someone to love, someone to touch and see and feel.
And how do you think it felt when she saw Tsunami for the first time?
This was another living daughter. A blessing of a beautiful, strong dragonet who was bold and brave and full of passion, and ready to love and live. This was her daughter, and this was one tally she could erase from the horrific number of children she had lost. She had not died after all. But don't you see the reason for her anger... she spent so long trying to gain a child, and didn't even know she had one until several years after she broke herself to reach a goal she had already reached but had also somehow lost?
And what do you think it was like for Coral when she saw Tsunami, who she already loved so fiercely willing to give herself to protect her unborn sister, and her unborn daughter the same way she had protected Anemone?
It was an empathy, a love and a comfort of amazement that her beloved daughter was willing to sacrifice for a sister. For a daughter. For her. But she also felt a desperate need to protect her, so desperate that it spun into an entirely different emotion: fury. How could she just give herself up like that, if she knew how much she herself had sacrificed to keep Tsunami alive? How could she risk herself if she knew how much she meant to me? _How could she?_ It was a passion so deep it hurt.

Yes, I myself have never experienced this, but I like to put my self on the place of the troubled person ( or creature) and put the ones I love and care about in the place of there lost loved ones, and is scares me every time to think the loved ones and the people I care about could just disappear in a blink of an eye, and I know that no matter how hard i try I cant even get close to feel the pain that person ( or creature)is going through. 💔❤

If you guys didn't notice at 2:28 Tsunami held Auklets egg and on her body flashed "I will protect" (its spelled btw:)) if you wondering why its so special because on Book 2 (Tsunamis book) there was a scene where she got the egg from the deep palace because it wasn't safe in the royal hatchery brought up to a cave in the deep palace she was telling her mother that she was gonna go to the summer palace with the egg to see her friends and get them away from the cave they were in that was flooding up.

This map makes me have a whole different perspective of how I see Coral now. She has been through a lot, the death of her daughter's, the loss of her husband, the struggle with the Seawing tribe since the Skywings attacked the Summer Palace, how she accidently killed one of her daughters. I mean she had it rough, maybe that's why she was so hard and stressed.

Ahhh, now I feel so bad for Coral. I'm just so glad the statue had been destroyed now. Poor Coral, she probably got used to seeing the sight of the broken eggs. Also, the end where Coral hugs anenome and tsunami..and then the part where tsunami's glowing scales say "I will protect" STARTED A WHOLE NEW FLOOD OF TEARS MAN. Why does this have to be so beautiful! I've never felt so bad for a character before!

I love how after Coral got her daughters, she also started talking with her sons and healing from all that grief. It was awesome hearing about the relationship that developed between her and turtle.
I'm still a bit mad that she took all her anger out and killed all those guards tho. I hope she never learns of what Tsunami did to Gill.

Honestly, Orca is the worse daughter ever, she made Queen Coral sad for, who knows how long, by killing all the eggs. All Coral wanted was a daughter she could love.
Orca's ego is what got her killed. She was really young when she challenged Coral for the throne and her confidence is what got her killed. If Orca hadn't died then Coral wouldn't have grown as a character, as well as the others, and she might've never gotten the chance to have Anemone, Tsunami and Auklet.
But yeah, any parent would've been traumatized if all their children kept dying with the killer in plain sight.
And I never did understand Orca's plan to get rid of all possible heirs in her future (if she was gonna go through all the trouble to lay eggs only for the females to die wouldn't her sons have grown old enough to produce an heir?).
@rꪖꪀᦔꪮꪑ ρꫀrsꪮꪀ During the time I think Orca was their first dragonet, meaning so far she had no competition besides her own heirs. The purpose of the statue was to originally kill her own heirs so she could play the act of "Somebody is killing all my dragonets/heirs!" Even though she did it all intentionally. When she challenged Coral she was sure she would win, but her confidence got the best of her and ended up in her getting killed, leading to the statue killing her unborn sister's.

Blu, I just want to say, the way you edit your MAPS makes them so special. The credits are beautiful and so sweet man! I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this map. I truly did enjoy it and this is one of the most anticipated WoF MAPS in my opinion. This was absolutely beautiful. EVERY SINGLE PERSON Did an AMAZING job!!!! The transitions, the emotion, the movement and animation-- Just- EVERYTHING!!! ❤💗 I loved the designs you've given us, and this whole MAP idea in general was spectacular!! ✨✨ LOVE YOU MAN! Honestly, When I first read the lost heir, I thought Coral was a bad mom for imprisoning her own daughter. But this made be understand her. Also, I pretty much cried when I saw this. It's so cute, but so sad, and has a happy ending. DANG IT! I HATE MY HEART FOR MAKING ME FEEL THINGS

Totally agree! I've already read the first 6 books twice (they went missing last year) and I have 7 and 8, haven't gotten my hands on the rest, so watching this map of Queen Coral really got me feeling nostalgic and emotional! 😄👏

Coral may have been a bit over the top with her protectiveness, but she was a sad dragon, left heartbroken by what happened to her eggs. She’s the perfect example of a character who makes some pretty bad mistakes, but ultimately, she’s still fundamentally good.

Can i just say that i'm CRYING because of how beautiful this map?
Not only do i love the song, but it gives you such a different perspective of coral that i haven't seen before. I started to cry at the part where she sits at the table, memories of orca flooding back. And the last part, where Tsunami and and anemone come in just hit really hard. I can see now why she loves her daughters so much and why she was so overproctetive about them.
Once again a gorgeous map 💙 everyone did a great job animating!!

Legit crying after this, thank you for making me feel emotions I forgot I had, i forgot who I was for a while, and going back to my roots of my youth are searching again and finding my love of dragons as an emotional anchor to everything I missed out on the last few years has helped me find who I was again, I love everyone who was part of making this.

This honestly almost made me cry....The song fits her story perfectly...! Queen Coral just wanted a child...even if she had to make some mistakes on the inside,she’s just trying to protect her children that she’s been waiting for her entire life! I really love this!

This adds such a sadder lense to Coral's story. I think we often overlook and forget what she went through. It really is sad and this visualized and portrayed it so well.
I'm cry right now. I never realized how hard it must've been for Coral to loose all her dragonets, than finally getting one. Then, even more miraculously, she gets her long-lost daughter back AND another heir.

This is beautiful 💙 the animation at 2:16 always gets me, it’s so well done with the little “blip”s. I always tear up at the fourth frame when Tsunami swims into Coral, who catches her in a powerful hug. 🥹
The end credits were also beautifully done. The whole instrumental really does give a deep-sea vibe.
Auklet was the first daughter that Coral could raise normally, and she was given to her by the daughter that came home years later to rejoin her family.
Coral was an awful mother, but when you’ve suffered the trauma of having to kill your own adolescent daughter plus all the years after of dead newborn dragonets… it’s a bit hard to blame her.
Ok I can honestly say this might be my favorite map I've taken part in, ever. Between all the beautiful parts and the number of people who wove their parts together and the camaraderie we were all a part of approaching the end, it really felt like a project where we all worked together. The concept was beautiful, the designs were gorgeous and creative, and everyone did such an amazing job. Thanks for hosting this project Blu! I was honored to be a part of it!

I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that this is the most beautiful, meaningful, emotional map I have ever seen. The animation is top tier, the editing is fantastic, the music is so well suited to the character, and the story line?!?! I just love this so much, great job to BluJae, and everyone else who participated!

I may be a little late, but congrats to everybody who participated. That was... honestly one of the most amazingly played out maps I’ve ever seen. The song fit perfectly, all of the animators styles and interpretations just made it all the better. It was beautifully made, and I really admire the work that went into it.

this made me cry.. its the perfect song.. coral has done awful things, the brutal torture/murders she caused, but in the end.. she did what any other mother would to; protect her children.

This is an amazing, beautiful MAP and I really feel bad for everyone in the SeaWing royal family. Gill, who died horribly in the arena. Coral, who lost countless daughters without ever knowing why. Anemone, who spent the first years of her life on the end of a harness. Tsunami, who spent so much of her life wanting the throne and then realizing it just wasn't her place in the world. And of course all the countless princes whose mother can't even remember the names of. Hopefully Auklet gets to grow up happy, though!
