This episode is hilarious (like all the others) everyone is finding expensive jewelry in their boxes of cereal... except Mr. Douglas who only keeps getting a Yogi Berra baseball card... Arnold finds an expensive diamond encrusted choker neck piece too... this clip is of Sam looking for the earrings that he got in his cereal box that accidentally fell into the pickle barrel.
I watch it every night too! It comes on at 8:30 where I live near Nashville, Tennessee on MeTV, Comcast Channel 22. Tonight's episode is about the beeping moon rock, lol! I've seen every episode numerous times, but I will never get tired of it...😁
It has always been and always will be my favorite TV show! I'm so glad I can share some of my favorite clips here on UA-cam and that so many people, such as yourself, are enjoying them.
@@DJhutcherson Ha! I live near Williamsport, Pa. and it's on MeTV here at 9:30 every night! There must be an hour time zone difference between us. Funny! Yep! I saw it was about the moon rock tonight. Thank you for sharing DJ - it is appreciated and you've just found yourself another subscriber! It just doesn't get any better than this! :)
0:51 By this time Mr. Kimball had known Mr. Douglas for several years yet he still doesn't recognize him, lol "What'd you say your name was? Mr. Kimball? Boy he's got the same name as me!" lmao!!!
I just saw Alvy Moore (Hank Kimball) in an old episode of Daniel Boone from the early 60's, and boy his character on that show couldn't have been more different than his character on Green Acres...it was weird seeing him as a different character, really.
I've always felt that Green Acres was all about punishing Mr. Douglas for being rational. Lisa, being totally irrational, fits in perfectly. But poor Mr. Douglas stubbornly clings to rationality and "Hootersville" puts him through hell for it! :)
Yes, but is having an obsession to be a farmer just because of being born in a farmhouse (but leaving it shortly thereafter to the city), and despite having no talent for farming, "rational"? I do love this show and still watch it semi regularly, along with the Addams Family. I guess I like absurdity in my sitcoms.
Good point! That was the one irrational aspect of Mr. Douglas, and everytime he launched into his "farmer speech" they all rolled their eyes at him. Brilliant show.@@loge10
😱 I'd really didn't know that Green Acres was the mostly underrated 📺 show of all 🕙 now. Y? Is this here now. I've loves this show. It's very hilarious and funny too me a lot. I 👀 this show every weekdays on MeTv.
In real life, Eva Gabor was beaten and robbed of a $25,000 diamond ring on January 4, 1964 when she and her husband at the time, Richard Brown, were in Miami. (The Number One song on that day was There I Said it Again by Bobby Vinton. It was the last Number One record by an American artist before the Beatles and the British Invasion changed everything in popular music. As for me personally, I was only a 6-year-old first grader then. I didn't know who Eva Gabor was, let alone who the Beatles were. I didn't become a fan of both Green Acres and Eva until two years later (1966) with the Molly Turgis episode. I may have been the youngest Green Acres fan at that time. During the first season of Green Acres, I was only an 8-year-old third grader then.) Well anyway. When the case came to trial a few years later, Eva Gabor refused to testify in court. She was too busy filming Green Acres in Hollywood. If she had taken time from the show, it would have cost the production company a lot of money. Therefore, the case was dropped.
Oops! I meant to say that if she had taken time off from Green Acres to testify in court, it would have cost the production company a lot of money. She just couldn't afford to take the time off from the show. Therefore, the case was dropped.

I don't know how the cast members could keep a straight face in the presence of Hank Kimball.
🤣
Would pay to hear Hank Kimball explain big bang🌪️🤯

He was a combat Marine who fought on Iwo Jima in WWII
