@albertissa1989 you are talking to the wrong person. Leona is my favourite singer and such a lovely woman to talk to. Leona singing never sounds bad. She was not well and still sounded better than any singer out there. She just left some of it to the backup singers. You wanted to hear her in Glasgow on the second night it was amazing.
She apologised at the beginning of the show as she had a cold and had cancelled one show a few days before, so her voice wasn't 100% form but she did her best which was still an amazing night of performances
Okay, I should have responded differently. Yes she has a cold. But her voice was gone before then. Her thyroid disease has completely taken all her chest voice and most of her head voice. She has roughly about 1.5 octave usable range and it's all falsetto. Very sad that her gift was taken from her like that
I don’t care what anyone says, sick, her disease, she can still sing and is severely underrated!!! Love her! ❤️

Probably both.
She really lost her chest voice because of her disease. But she still sounded great. The tone is still there. Just the powerful belts we are missing.
