- Henry, Flora and Winnie are Irish Cob horses. Sandra and Kay are Irish regular humans (mongrels, probably). Together they trek the Irish countryside spreading friendly cheer and horse-poo to all..
Thanks to Carole for hosting : - )

Don’t steal our stuff!
These wonderful people exude such serenity and old world charm. Watching their videos is like a soothing balm for my emotions that were rug burned from viewing the day's news events.
Joseph that's why I don't watch the news anymore. Anything important will come up on social media.
Hi from New Zealand. I heard from one of the locals that theres a cave nearby that leads to Ireland so I might come visit some day.
We'll have the kettle on...!
YAS NZ I live in AKL
Lol Rotorua here!
dara rollo haha same!
I smiled throughout the whole video. Best channel ever :)
Aw, what a nice thing to say - thanks : - )
It was very nice to hear that there in Ireland you have hills that go both up and down. Here in Canada all the hills only go up and as I age I find them rather tiring.Cheers.
Sorry for your troubles, 59acres : - )
I have watched all your horse riding videos that I have been able to find. This trip seems to have been your happiest trip of all (although all of them are nice relaxing viewing).
Oh we so love these rides!! Wonderfull video Sandra, much love to the beautiful homestead too :D
Thanks, Jeanne : - )
Looks stunning. I’d have to take a potty with me. Lol.
That was fabulous 👌🏇🏇🐎 I was reminded of many happy hours hacking around Co. Wicklow 💚☘️ now I want to do something like that here in NZ! But our roads are too busy... 😞 You ladies are hilarious with the Bear Grylls hoof pick and all 😂 lovely hearing the clip clop of 12 hooves ( mine haven't been shod in years so just patter along) great video, beautiful Ireland ☘
Oh this makes me want to move home. 🤗☺
Just found your channel today and am absolutely loving your beautiful take on the farmstead lifestyle. Almost makes me regret being a city-dweller, but then again I have many years ahead of me hopefully, plenty of time to switch up and live amongst nature.
I must of watched your entire backlog by now, or at least getting close :)
that's a whole lot of watching, Ranger! Good to have you on board : - )
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us along for the adventure. 🌻
Sandra well done so glad you had a good trip with so many good friends looking out for you and no repeats of the ending of last years trip that must be the best part of all for Tim and yourself too
thank you. But this was just the test trip - the long one coming up is the real challenge. Wish me luck!
Very enjoyable watching! I wish I were there with you all! Thank you!
I was lucky enough to work in a trekking centre last summer so got to do this every day some on the road some on trail. Not camping however I have done that on my own to
Thank you so much for taking us along!
Kay is a real ray of sunshine, is she not?! :-) Tell her i think she is fantastic, will you?
60kilometers?? All the riding i ever get is inside a big barn with sawdust for a floor...
Well... maybe once i get the hang of things i get to go outside as well. ^^
Thanks again, guys!
wow, it's amazing how the landscape is indistinguishable from Galician countryside! :D
Really? Interesting. Probably humans wrecked that one too, by clearing all the trees? We'll have to investigate..
My rocky mountain mare loves to pack. My standardbred mare is the bully of the herd. I also have a blind Morgan gelding who rides /drives/packs on foot .
Also have a yearly that will be added to the string when he is old enough
I've only seen pack horses in a rope and halter instead of a bit and bridle. What fun this looked like!!!
Well done Sandra !!!!!! And with your two legs ........sane.... .thanks for sharing that special moment. Juan
two legs are definitely better than one!

A wonderful Trip.
Now, no breaking limbs this year, okay?
funny - I was thinking the same thing : - )
Great times! I can hardly believe those are your roads, it's beautiful.
Its only lovely! Wonderful folk , great sense of humour
Brilliant. What a great trip. With great friends
Thank you Sandra, Tim, Maggie, Henry, Flora and Winnie 💕for a wonderful camping trip. I laughed so much watching it. Wonderful memories x
Kay McSweeney I
What a great team you all were. (It's funny - now that all the blasphemy, nudity and swearing are cut out, you come across as quite nice people really) I can see we're going to need a reunion sometime - 'the famous five ride again..' What do you think?
(Sorry I just can't get a better thumbnail to upload, Kay. Still working on it. T.)
Way Out West Blow-in blog nudity you say? There wont be an uncut version of this video perchance? 😆
We'd never find it now - it's gone into the 'Not fit for broadcast' bin. And that's a big bin : - )
I've known people that built their own pack saddles for not much money and had *very* good results. I'm sure Tim could fabricate something fairly easily and that would give you the chance to customize it to your needs. You know, in Tim's "free time", lol ;)
Ha! I think that's the problem, John - he's expecting to be busy for the next few years at least..
Maybe you should get a second husband and start your own Harem? Just think of the labour benefits! :)
Annie’s like ‘huh? Oh, I’m Not going..,’. Oh my, Flora really wanted you to scratch her nose.
You girls & your beautiful horses did an amazing job. Looked like you had a fabulous time. What stunning countryside. Lovely to see a proper paper map being used! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. 👍❤️
Thanks, Amanda - we had great fun : - )
Looks like so much fun. Thank you 💗
Thank, Smurph. Yes, it was fun : - )
Love the video, thanks
So glad to see the annual trek occur despite the misadventures of last year. Looks like you had a lovely time with all the modern conveniences! ^_^
Such fun! TY for sharing...keep them coming!
Wonderful video!
So beautifull and funny vid!! Thank you!!
This is absolutely amazing, so magical and natural :)
I love to know I live in the most beautiful island , Ireland
Oh, I want to do this! Good for you all!
Thank you for these wonderful videos, the countryside is so beautiful, and your narration is so warm and inspiring. You have a million dollar voice. I just love hearing you :)
Thank you, M.
So glad to see Kelly came with and your leg is still whole!
God bless

Where would we be without a hot cup of tea?!
Way Out West Blow-in blog
Haven't been able to get behind tea as y'all have. Coffee, black, is where it's at for us Americans. Is coffee popular in Ireland? How do you drink tea? Maybe I've been doing it wrong
Mint tea (boiling water over leaves) is delicious.
(We drink lots of coffee here too, but there are hundreds of sorts of teas too, so there's one for any occasion!)
Way Out West Blow-in blog thanks! I'll give it a try!
I would love to be friends and come with you :) You know how to be chilled yet have a good time.
Love this :D Your horses are wonderful.
So glad to see you and Flora both trekking again! You had me quite worried after last year's mishap. (Bonnie)
Thanks, Bonnie. Yes, we're off soon on the long trip, but I'm feeling confident. (Mostly!)
Ben- what happened on last years trip?
kayBTR - Flora tripped and Sandra broke her leg.
I can see a build in the future for a horse back pack
G'day,
Yay Team !
Ireland should have 57 words for their different shades of Green...(lol) !
Take it easy,
;-p
Ciao !
Delightful :-)
hey! i love your videos, for the horse you should consider getting something like a half pad. it would be worth the health of the horse!
I'm in New Zealand - If you could get through that hole in the map you'd all be very welcome to stay at ours :)
That's a lovely gesture, but I'm afraid they would have just a bit of a swim if they did! The antipode to Ireland is over 100 km to Cambell Island! ; )
Thanks, Brendan : - )
having just walked trails and tracks of Beara, they were often pretty darn mucky. Noticed the North Carolina T-shirt, unexpected
Did you have a good time? Or was it too mucky?
no I have a great time!!. Some long days, Castletown to Allihes was in drizzle the whole way over the mountains and broke just as coming down to Allihes; and the angles sang. Horrible footing from Allihes to Eyeries after the Old Copper Road ended. The kind that take the joy out of cross country walking. Saddest bit is the knit shop in Bonane could not take a credit card and I did not have enough cash on hand. Too late into Glengarrif to shop. Did find a lovely lap robe at airport so that was my wool purchase done. Lovely country, wonderful people, want to rent a house on Dersey and spend a week
Glad the weather didn't spoil things for you. At least here the weather changes often, so you just have to wait long enough and the sun will surely come out.
Let us know if you do come back for longer..
tempted to rent a house on Dursey for a week
What? I was no longer subscribed to your channel! Luckily I wanted to look at an old one! I have plenty to look at now!
We missed you, Charlotte!
So much fun!
Flora!
What if you saw cars on the road? Dont know about ireland but where i live the roads have hardley any cars but the roads are tiny
would F holes help with sound quality? Or like others mentioned, a hole behind the string, like a Uke
Be careful with croppers they can break tails
:)
What, no cowboy hats in the uk?
No idea what they do over there, Shane, because we're not in the UK
where is bob?
Flora is holding to much replay to me if u agree
