Some of those bigger brackets hold the wires down inside the switch, I bought a nice switch from Germany which was look exactly the same it was oem , but when I tried to fit it , it had like 2 less wires the big yellows I think . Watch out for the tiny springs in the left one. Cheers
The switch you are working on has come from a bike where the wiring harness is passed through a hole into the handlebars & has been modified to allow wire to run alongside !!!!!

Are you using JIS screwdrivers..they are slightly different than Phillips..Hondas use them ..im sure you know what i mean
Yes I'm using JIS screwdrivers. In fact I mention them quite a lot in the videos as its one of my pet peeves when ppl use Philips :-)
