I still can’t get over how generous Sophie and her team are with us with their information and insights. We are so lucky to live in this era of social media where we get a glimpse into this beautiful world. And the inspiration of how Sophie has built this business is never-ending and so phenomenal to witness. Makes me so happy that someone so wonderful is thriving! 💗
This young woman is a success story! I keep her in mind when my kids come to me for advice on finding what they love and making it support them mentally and monetarily.
I don’t think you give yourself enough credit. You have a very professional side and a family side that is well balanced. You talk about your family almost in every video which makes you a great mom to me. I love all your designs and consider you “the best”!! Greetings from the USA. PS the embroidered wallpaper is my favorite!!!
Long time fan I don't usually comment but I really valued the authenticity of this video. Thank you for all the tips I really have loved all the fly on the wall interior design content. It's been very inspiring!
Thank you for commenting- I read every one and really appreciate it. Especially when I’ve opened up a bit more it’s so nice to hear that it resonated with others ☺️
I live in US and have been in Interior Design for over 26 years. I have seen so much change in design and relationships with clients. It really is a different time than even 10 years ago. I love Interior Design and it has been my Passion since I was a very young girl. I have often felt like throwing up my hands and just retire but I love it so much and I am thrilled to hear you say that some of your Favorite Designers are in their 70's and that this is a Career for Life. I feel like GOD has given me a gift and I so want to continue to do what I love. You will have to stay tuned in to the Business side and really grow and change with what is going on with your Clients and knowing yourself WHAT TYPE of client you desire to work with and focus on that... Thank You Sophie. :-)
You are so right. It’s working out what client is right for YOY. Not just what client you are right for. And that is OK. We need to learn that as a Customer service industry that respects ourselves and our teams. 😘
I love how transparent Sophie is! One day I will be able to engage SPI for a home, but until then I will be taking notes from all your videos and TikTok’s, and patiently awaiting your course for my home Reno!!
Dear Sophie, I always enjoy your vlogs and stay until the end! As a retired nurse I really appreciate you being open and informative about having a breast abscess - few people would want to talk about that on social media. I've had two English Springer Spaniels - they were great family dogs. Hello, from SC, USA.
Thank you. It’s so important to raise awareness. I really didn’t know where to turn and it was so painful and scary. My heart goes out to anyone experiencing it. Spaniels are lovely. And well done you on being a nurse- the most incredible job there is and nurses work so hard I am in awe of them. We would all be lost without you 🙏🏼
Totally loved this video and can’t wait for the launch of your training course ❤ Also hello to my car boot friend and it’s always lovely to spend time with you there and let my doggies play with Ava. ❤ hope to see you soon. Massive hugs, Claire xx
😂😂 For my family it was 30-40 min. delay. I put the blame on Sophie! 😂 But finally I somehow managed both! I am quite sure you also did! 😊 Love these videos just as you guys!❤
Glad you enjoyed it! This is what I love about kids and life- you never stop learning about yourself and kids push you out your comfort zone and you learn new things to enjoy 😉
Thank you so so much for your honesty Sophie! Your answer about your breast abscess and the help you have at home really resonate with me as a first time mum who’s just returned to work ❤
Love this kind of video as we can see why you are so successful. Your work is so beautiful and of course you have reached a level of success that most can only aspire to, however you are so grounded and humble, it's clear why your team stays with you. I can imagine you are an incredible boss who shares their success with those around them and lifts other up, making this world a better place. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this great vlog Sophie. I really enjoyed listening to you and Anthony answer questions and give advice on the industry. Interestingly I have been considering a stair runner for our home and as luck would have you discussed it ! I also like how you ended the vlog with an honest conversation about very personal experiences. Thank you for sharing this with us and keeping it real. ❤
Thank you for answering all these questions! I learnt a ton! For people wanting software for mood boards, canva in an online app with a free version that works great!
That was interesting Thankyou guys x I asked the Universe for a chocolate and tan Doberman … I ended up with a tiny miniature Dashound she is so perfect 💕😁
I noticed something.....in the last little bit of the video the plant to your right is casting similar shadows to the marble veining on the backsplash! I don't know if this was intentional but it nicely balanced the screen as you were filming!
Love this, thank you for this Q&A. But can I just say that I am mesmerised by the background. Can't listen on my first viewing coz i'm too busy dissecting every element of the room that's visible. The background is just so beautiful, it's almost yummy. Now, i'm going to have another go and actually listen.
Milanote is a free trial version app can at least get you started with mood board. Great ideas all round my question is would you ever use wood and tile in a bath area. I would love to see a patio design at some point how you would tackle that. Has your wallpaper design ever been incorporated into tile designs for splashback or bath tile or floor tiles? Also wondering if you have ever designed for a commercial unit like an office or restaurant outside your own that is. Or even a hotel? just curious :) I had an abscess after a breast surgery reduction was horrid and more than once I wish I had known there were supports then. Luckily I haven't had one since then thankfully so checking yourself every month does help alleviate anxiety around that. Thanks for sharing Sophie and team :)
Hi Sophie, I admire you from every direction. I think you’re definitely a success story, but I just simply like the way you are. ✋I do want to say that before you endorse anybody, please make sure that the company delivers what they promise otherwise it ruins your reputation. I had a very bad experience with LilySilk Their definition of quality does not make my standard. I was unhappy with the quality and yet they refused to give me my money back and they have given me nothing but a very hard time. As a company they need to realize that a happy customer means growth for the company. In fact they don’t allow the customer to put in an honest review if it’s not what they want they don’t let you post it. How’s that for honesty? The only reason why I purchased from them was because of you.
Hi Lily thanks for reaching out and your kind comments. I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Lily silk. That is very disappointing to hear. I haven’t heard of any other bad experiences prior to this but I am very selective in who I will promote as I don’t want to be aligned with poor service in another company. I hope they resolve it for you

Hello Sophie/Team, I just got a chance to review this video. Well done! Personally, I graduated from design school and earned my bachelor's degree in fine arts in interior design which was going wonderfully before covid hit. After that, I felt that the school declined in their teaching and was left to tutor myself. But was committed to completing my studies which I have. However I still feel I need that Hands-On training that I never received during class. As a result I've been unable to retain employment. What recommendations could you make for me to really focus on at the beginning stages of my career. Also I look forward to reviewing your coursework provided that it's affordable. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful business and practices with us. Stay blessed.
I love your work; the subtleties of combinations of colours and textures are admirable, but do you have any constraints in your choices regarding the toxicity of materials? We are currently renovating our home and have become very concerned by increasing evidence about the long term effects on health of the off-gassing by materials (paints, carpets, wallpapers, soft furnishings etc). We find it very difficult to achieve an aesthetically pleasing result as there are very few companies in the UK providing non toxic or low VOCs products.
Thank you. I don’t spend much time looking in the mirror but I am happy with what I see. I appreciate what my body has done for me and I am happy with myself and where I am in life. I always say this is as young as we’ll ever be. In terms of mentally I feel good about my life choices and how I live my life and treat others. ☺️🙏🏼
i do not like kiling animals and skinning them to make bags and shoes, it is a crime ..merciless and a barbaric and brutal abomination, l call on you to refuse and refrain from wearing animal skins
