- This video is inspired by the scrapt Batfleck solo film which was sadly cancelled due to behind the scenes issues. Only small details of the scrapt script have been revealed, so many story and character elements of this video were created by myself. I wanted this trailer to show why Batman became a murderer in BvS and how Supermans sacrifice and the formation of the League inspired Bruce to be a better hero. But to truly do this he must face his past and confronts his mistakes.

Don't blame them. Blame people who kept criticizing Affleck as Batman before he even began the filming of BvS to then whine for him to comeback. I would have loved to have him comeback but I understand why the guy is tired of Batman.

We should've gotten this back in 2018 if WB had never interfered. Also, great job with the trailer. The amount of work and effort that you put into this in order to make all the edits coherent must've been insane. I've always wanted to see how the Bat Family would react to Bruce breaking the Batman code in his solo movie. Props to you, man.

I think Jason from the show was just used as a placeholder for Dick since the footage worked more.

He's been Batman for 20 years. He's broken after 20 years of crime-fighting and Grayson's death pushed him over the edge. He doesn't believe in his code anymore and is much more aggressive than before. Batfleck took inspiration from Frank Miller's Batman who's aggressive and irrational himself. Miller's Batman also killed the Joker but apart from that, he still maintains his code. But Snyder chose to make Batfleck break his code and then bring him back. In Batman:Hush(which is canon btw) Batman almost kills the Joker because of a misconception. Gordon was the one who eventually talks him out of it. So even canon Batman is capable of breaking his code in anger. Besides Batfleck didn't lose Jason, he lost Dick, his very first Robin. Dick's death is bound to hit harder than Jason's.
The entire point of BvS is that Batman is acting uncharacteristic. The movie constantly mentions that Batman has changed recently, and he wasn't this aggressive before. He doesn't kill "countless" goons. He only kills when he faces inconvenience. Take the Batmobile chase for example, he starts with using non-lethal force but runs over the vehicle with the mini-gun because he didn't care about finding another way through it.
The nightmare with the giant Bat was supposed to represent that Bruce is losing his humanity. Martha Wayne's grave is bleeding or has been contaminated by the giant Bat who emerges and consumes Bruce. It represents that he's losing the 'man' in 'Batman' and is failing his parents. Batman's humanity is what grounds him and is the source of his code. Without it he's a killing machine.
The Martha scene is the beginning of Bruce's redemption because he realizes that Superman is innocent and killing him will make him just like Joe Chill. Superman's sacrifice finally convinces him that men are still good and can be better and instills him with hope, which is precisely what Superman's character is supposed to do. He starts following his code after that because he realizes his mistake. He literally apologize to Alfred, makes a promise and starts to believe in humanity in spite of stating the contradictory at the beginning of the movie.
The Snyder Cut literally shows how he's changed. He's learned to trust others and have faith instead of seeing the worst in humanity. The shot at the end of the Snyder Cut, where Batfleck is standing on top of his tank is not a simple reference to The Dark Knight Returns. In the scene we can see members of the Mutant gang tied up on the ground. It shows that he doesn't kill anymore and has gone back to being the ideal version of himself. That's this Batman's character arc.
The only Batman who's killed "countless goons" is Keaton's Batman. Bale's Batman is a hypocrite who kills in spite of saying he's "no executioner" and is also a quitter. The only live action Batman that hasn't killed is Clooney. Yet y'all fakeass fans go around pretending that Batfleck is a problem. Lmao Batfleck is the only live action version of the character that explained the importance of Batman's code and made him follow it again. It's hilarious seeing Snyder haters miss such an obvious piece of characterization.
And finally I am hyped for the Batman myself but fans like you are annoying af. Batfleck's movie would have given us a chance of seeing a Batman in his prime interact with an established gallery of rogues. Also we missed the chance of seeing Deathstroke face off with Batman in live-action and even a possible chance of seeing "Death in the family" in live-action. Now we are stuck with a Batman at the beginning of his career again but it looks promising regardless.

@@DrFlashPoint Dick used batons. While Jason used a staff. If you look at the outfit in Batman v Superman you can clearly see he is wearing Jason Todd's outfit from Earth-31. To which the clips you used of Robin(S) were also that of Jason Todd. 1 from the Fan made ep. The other from the Titans series.
