Hi everyone! Thanks for watching. This video was made to help make sense of what the Hazard Communication Standard is and why it matters to you and your health. My hope is that it will make information that sometimes seems dry and irrelevant, important and accessible.
Hi Rachel, I thought that you did a wonderful job explaining the hazard communication standard and why we all should be aware of it. I absolutely love your earrings by the way. Most occupations such as construction, automotive, factory plants, and others deal with dangerous fumes and items all day and if an employee isn't taking the necessary precautions such as face covering, they are putting themselves at a higher risk of having health problems. I really like your demonstration of safety first at 2:49 when you wore a construction mask because dealing with dust or fumes are toxic and you need to protect your self from breathing it in.
Just saw this thru my employer training portal. Nicely done...and the funny bits too! You know the guy at 5:32 the guy has the mask strap over the top of his hardhat though...🤔
Ally Safety Thank you for the kind words. I still think your audio is good though! What matters is that people can clearly understand you, and you certainly have that nailed!
this video was required watching as part of ongoing workplace training at my company. ... and so far the first genuinely interesting part of said training. lol
Thank you! I haven't gotten a NEBOSH IGC since all of my certificates are from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (US). If I were you, I'd ask on LinkedIn and I think you'll get some very helpful advice. Best of luck!

Nacho cheese is hazardous to the white t shirt you wiped your hands on 😵😖

Great Video! I'm a new EHS tech and your videos are wonderful. Is there a Process Safety Management Series to come possibly? That would be amazing.
