  • Chemicals are found all over the jobsite and some of them are more hazardous than others. Container labels and safety data sheets will give you information about the hazards of materials you work with.

over the past couple weeks ive been unknowingly exposing myself to a substance that i just found out that i was allergic to in school yesterday. i dont need to see a doctor, as i know what it is. the rash showed up a couple weeks ago after shop class, and i thought it was nothing, over time, it got worse. then yesterday after shop class, the rash on my chest and neck got worse. i thought it was my coat, but then i thought for a minute, then i put 2 & 2 together, and realized that it was the wood filler id been sanding off of my project. after my last class of the day, i went down to my shop class and informed my shop teacher of my discovery, and he said hed keep me away from that stuff. problem solved

I thought labels could not be handwritten? Don't they need to have the manufacturer, chemical name, as well as a signal word for hazards?

Hello there! Great video and contents. By the way, I'm Neto from Brazil. Can I use this video to teach technical english to brazilian professionals? I want to demonstrate and practice the listening using your video. If necessary I could use only the audio or some part of your video. And of course I could give the credits to your channel. Thanks in advance!
