totally agree with steve's point. and this is a point that every one, regardless of sex, should understand. when people ask you for your advice, and whether they dont take it or dont agree with you, you CANNOT get offended by that. Cause if you do, you are making it about YOU. this person is trying to sort their issues out, of course you can try to help, but if they dont see it your way or dont agree at that moment, then let it be. don't make it about you and get all sensitive over it. always go into these convos, knowing that you are someone that will listen, that will be soft, kind and supportive, and when u give advice (if asked) you just give your opinion, but never demand they follow it. And when they dont, follow, dont get mad. that's the WRONG approach.

Congrats little Isaac! And congrats to Tiff and Casey for being the back bone of Isaacs success! Tiff and I are the same age and our sons are the same age too. I've been a single mom this whole time and worked hard to put my son in private school. In October, he made Honor Roll and got a student award for leadership/citizenship. Not only am I proud of him for working hard and never giving up, I'm proud of myself for the same reasons.
I'm here for this new series, man. I love it.

What Steve said is true. People will see what they want to see in their children, pets, or whatever. It really is a personal truth.
As for whose fault it is when it comes to how your children end up, it's totally the parents fault and no one else's. People's brain are wired different and are exposed to many things that will shape them. But at the end of the day it is up to you to lead them onto the right path. We're not perfect so things won't always end well, but whatever happens you can always do better as a parent.
I feel that it is a problem that I listen best when looking somewhere else.. people always think I'm not engaged but I'm just so unfocused in a conversation that when I get myself to look at them for a long time I'll get distracted in my mind

I just got student/citizen of the month the topic was caring my school is also from k-8 and everybody is nice to each other like our 8th graders are friends with 5th graders
