this song going haaaaaaaard
If this was the benefit concert at the Warfield in SF...I was there. Pac opened the concert . The soundman kept effin' up. I remember the crowd booing - but Pac didnt care much . He was like "fuck it , Im going to do this acapella ! " He did like 3 or 4 songs with the music constantly fading out. I remember Pac walking in the lobby after his set. You would have thought he had a perfect show. Nobody cared that much about him at the time but he walked from one side of the lobby to the other , shaking peoples hand -smiling like a superstar. He approached me , gave me a pound and said "Thanks for coming" . I remember saying to myself " I dont know if he'll ever be a superstar , but this guys has insane personality , energy and confidence " I was not surprised one bit when he started to blow up . I'll never forget his smile - electric. RIP Pac and Shock.
30 years ago...90s were the shit!
Takes me back
Facts.
Back when rap music was really 100% wild and creative🎶👍🤙
THe game and lyricism
And being tough was more real back then we these dudes I seems
Raw
Latifah was rockin' that black red and green all over. And the mic skills were like that. Real pride sis!
My GOAT Fememcee!! I got Lyte & Lauryn right behind
Me to bro but with no order... i will never ever undestand how this young cats can celebrate this Autotune Plastic shit from Plastic Barbie strippin ass bitches
Treach a beast too
Agree, treach was a serious lyricist.,was very underrated.
I knew that since 1991 😉
Treach trumps any rapper out there EVER imo 🤷🏾♀️
Shock - G had vision and brought his friends along for the trip. He had what few do , he kept the audience engaged and part of the show . He was all about everyone being together and love .
We will never get 90s back. 80s n 90s And up until 2009 was the shit! Then it all started dying out with this new crap.
90s was the golden era! Especially 93-97. Don't know about 98 cuz I was in the hospital recovering from a car accident.
In my opinion 80s hip hop wasn't shit! Its from 1990 till 1999 was the best era of hip hop maybe just maybe till 2004. In my opinion.
@@terronhastick9707 Bro, 80s laid the groundwork! When hip-hop WAS hip-hop & not rap. I feel you on the 90s tip, though. That WAS the golden age. Then Em came and changed the game.
@@sty723 I understand the 80s laid the groundwork all to well. But in my opinion that early sound wasn't all that to me. Is from 1990-1999 and maybe till 2004 was the era of real hip hop to me. Golden era I would say 1990-1997. But I respect what you saying tho. ✊
🤣NEVER🤣
Nothing will top this era.
When rap music was meaningful. I miss these days. Great memories!
This is a GEM of a video...protect this at ALL costs and thanks for uploading!
Download it and make a copy just incase
Thanx to you...

Damn looking back in retrospect digital underground was like the new age p-funk on the low
Pretty well known back than because shock g is a student of p funk. Gave george and parliament their credit too.
@@johnathanwill1945 yea he did on the album covers is i remember correctly. It was just that I was very young at the time and haven't heard these songs in a grip.
We will never ever see a Digital Underground again. Shock was a visionary.
I been said that at that time FRFR. They were hip hops P funk band, and then some.
4 real!
26:00 2PAC A REAL G! ALL POLITICAL IN AN ENTERTAINMENT SHOW #10/10
RIP SHOCK G thanks for the upload my first time seeing it.
I'd kill to see a digitally remastered clearer version of this history! Blessed to have this much though🙌🏽❤‼️
Hip hop has changed, it was live and you can feel the unity, 2pac had so much potential, in 4 years he made his mark, hope my brother got into the pearly gates
Those 4 years turned him out!!
Ur idol was a fraud
To each its on
He who is without sin cast the first stone.
You don’t have no wings coming out of your back nor a halo above your head, you do dirt too.
🤫
2Pac did what he was supposed to do. Ever heard of DMX?
Digital Underground killed it! Performers extraordinary! & 2 PAC
i was born 83 and and those days america was great
Absolutely I was born in 83 i totally agree with you the golden age
Monsters Of Rap
✊🏿R.I.P. Shock G 😎🙏🏿 funk baby! 🤘🏿😆
This Is When Rap Was Fun!💯💥
Epic true hip hop style these were the days, l love it nothing can beat the old SKOOL , love Tupac 🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯💯❣️❣️❣️❣️
Its always amazing yet sad whenever I see old videos of tupac in his happier moments tho. 😢
it is sad.. He was a Charismatic Legend with skills and energy but then he went to the Darkside and it all ended badly.. maybe he took the role of Bishop too seriously.. RIP 2Pac and Shock G up there looking down at the world laughing.. xo
@@ThaChief73Ruffneckz wtf that troublesome he did at 21 mins was gangster shit! Pac always down wid his gansts anybody that says sht like u do doesn’t know Pac upbringing or his family lol! He was literally in jail as a baby his mum pregnant with him in jail!
Totally Suge Knight was the Chancellor.
50:26 Paris "the black panther" much underrated conscious rapper!
Indeed, G.
Damn bring the music back!!
Man...I miss the 90s
Sure... the best period im born in 79
Shock G ✌️✌️ was good to PAC n we appreciate that but PAC would have still made it on his own because he was a genius. Love you Pac
When hip hop was fun
A Classic 🎤👍🏾💯🔥🏆🎼
This video deserves the full watch dont skip through this
Thanx a lot... no just she need to stay here and remind how was a good period 2pac and this period was the best ! Lot of young people dont know about that... its a good memory
I miss this era...
Queen Latifah starting with Go-Go music…Epic! 💓🎶🙌🥰
My GOAT Fememcee Queen La Rocked It!!!
These was the dayz. Real and good music.
You can definitely see 2-PAC transitioning to more hard core when later was referred to as “Gangster Rap’” hip hop was starting to become more mainstream. Now that rappers were making millions, 2-PAC expressed more graphic lyrics and messages. The birth of Thug-Life...
I love when he went back to His Original Deep Revolutionary roots on Me Against The World Album..That Album & 2pacalypse Now my favs by him before his death. Queen La Killed it tho!! She was the Shiznit back then on the mic Lyrically
True, real hip hop music.
Back when no social media or really no technology like that just video tapes and VCR was out
And hip hop was hip hop damn
Facts
I would like to travel back in time and to experiencing that because I’m 2005 born

All man this what I’m talking about old school Rap we can understand the words and all 🎊 Party music.. we miss both brothers that made us feel good!
Shock killed his performance! 👃🏽
Treach was 🔥
2Pac the best! God of Rap!
This was conscious rap then period, everybody did their thang then went on bout their business 2PAC set the pace for the real rappers who ever they are 👀
For real rappers? NWA been doing that g
OUR OLD GREAT TIME ! rip Greg ...Shock G 8 YOU WAS A REAL GENIUS !
Great Rappers RIP Shock G and Tupac
Wow, I never thought in my life I would ever find this performance. I was at this show (The Warfield in San Francisco) and I still consider it to be the best rap concert I've ever been to. 2pac performed like 5 songs with Brenda's Got a Baby being his biggest single at the time. 2pac's first album had only been out for about two months. Unfortunately Raw Fusion is missing and they performed around 5 songs also. Throw Your Hands In The Air was their highlight.
Digital Underground actually performed Same Song twice so Shock G could also come out as Humpty. It's rather funny because Shock G told us not to tell anyone that Humpty was also him.
Also 2pac was the one who went to the front of the crowd and let us hit his blunt during the smoke break in the show.
😇
I added a little bit of what I remembered from that night. Thank you again for uploading this. I have always hoped that one day it would surface because it was recorded for Pay Per View as a charity concert for Richmond schools. @@MickaelSchaack
That’s soooo dope. Imagine being able to say that you hit Tupac’s blunt. Crazy.
Priceless!
Wow.... digital underground chill smoke break intermission w Tupac, crazy chants n beat breaks. Release ur mind blunt break......incredible
1:14:00. Commence blunt break
19:37 that Jackson 5 bridge to OPP by DJ Kaygee was dope!!

Facts
I've been looking for this..I got this on pay per view as a kid but couldn't find it on youtube until 3day!!- THANK U 4 THIS!!
And some people today do not know what real music is they try to put down the old school music 🎵🎵🎵 but this music today can't compare no matter how hard they try. I was born in the wrong generation. 60s 70s 80s 90s and the 2000s gave us the best music etc.
Real talk 👍🏾
Ruff n Raw... I love it!
Thank you 🙏🏿 for this old skool video. My generation and so nice to see.
Humpty hump was dope.
Latifah repped hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥
She still does ✊🏿❤️😁
Queen La the shit!! My fav GOAT Fememcee! Then I got Lyte & Lauryn right behind
what a time passing blunts and beers out to the audience... as long as you be cool we can do this haha
I went to The Boys Club on 104st, when Tupac was there. I used to get in trouble with my mother, and Tupac used to get in trouble also -- because we were jokesters, and cared less about learning how to play instruments. We just had fun. -dc
I don’t understand how people think Pac “got hard” after Juice. Did you hear his first album? He came from all of this fun music and immediately broke away and did his own thing. That was Pac. It was who he was.✌🏽
That part lol I was just thinking the same thing
Tupac's transition from 91-92 Pac to late 93-96 Pac was so wild. Like he just became so outwardly thuggish and emblematic of gangsta rap, whereas before he was more like a Chuck D type guy.
and it's sad bc he was really becoming that image and it ultimately costed him his life
Suge Knight was the virus that infected pac
@@wysefavor suge knight is not the blame for everything. stop it
DU were 🔥, hype!
this is best NBN perform on UA-cam ! thanks 4this
thanx to watching, this period miss a lot... im born in 1979 ! im very nostalgic
Hello. ah, I'm from Poland, born in 1976. I grew up in the '90s when there was a huge HH and NBA boom :)
I love Naughty by Nature and I was very happy with this video because all their later performances were actually 4-5 of their most popular singles and in this video we have an extra compilation of songs from the first album. For me, the soundtrack to the '95 documentary THE SHOW closed the golden era of hip-hop... then Fugees, Diddy came along and making pop from hiphop :/
Greetings from Poland
@@brah5206 thanx a lot !! love poland !
the last act might have been the main act , but naughty by nature , tupac , were the future
No doubt digital underground would start to fade out as nineties progress, 93 and 95 would be big years for pac and naughty by nature
And pac would bless us with two masterpiece albums in 96 before he checked out
CLASSIC!! Much respect!!
Queen Latifah was killing her shit omg
1:19 Naughty By Nature Yoke The Joker Live ( 1992 )

THAT AMBIENCE WAS UNIQUE..HIP HOP GOLDEN AGE

What a time to be alive
💪💪💪maaaaaan you can tell 2pac was happy whit digital underground 🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷
Rapp will never die...
Now this is some rare archive footage with Naughty by Nature, Tupac, Digital Underground, and Queen Latifah all performing live!! Tupac performed troublesome 92. a track that was supposed to be on his second album Strictly 4 My Niggaz that he took off the album that time warner censored because of him going at the Oakland Police Department after they beat him up in 92 for jaywalking, when the reality was because of his black panther roots and him being a Shakur.
Troublesome 96
@@low-keyrighteous9575 Actually no, that was troublesome 92 that was. He had 2 versions of troublesome, 92 and 96.
Troublesome 92 was off oF the original Troublesome 21 which was scrapped and then he put out Strictly but troublesome was a whole different album it wasn't the same as strictly
That was fantastic!! Great performance Shock G!!
