70s baby here but always made room for Shock G. I wore out my Sex Packets CD in college. Freaks of the Industry!!!
Rest Well Humpty Dumpty(1963-2021).
If you don’t shut yo old ass up 😂😂😂
Facts rest in power
Digital Underground were so underrated, they should've received more airplay back in the day.
ffjsb Digital Underground was all over the radio during this time. "I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom" line was universal.
@@KTE9606 Not as much as they should've been. And it was mostly the Humpty Dance.
They are the Digital UNDERGROUND
@@potatochipeater8565 are you even old enough to remember them???
@@ffjsb I wasn't even a thought when they were in their Prime. So no
Shock g is a genius. Nuff said
#TrueStory
Nice guy in person too! Peace!
Man i love how he was shock g and humpty
TRUE INDEED
When I was a youngn....I was totally convinced that was 2 different people...pure genius
2025 still the same ol song 🎵
Tupac's whole entire short Rap was better than any rapper's career
that why he’s the GOAT way ahead of the other GOATS
Wouldn't go that far..but no doubt you knew he was gonna be something special and could see this verse showed how he could separate himself to become an elite mc/ rapper and in fact he did
AJ Icewater beat me to the "wouldn't go that far" part, lol, but it definitely put him on the map by 1991 standards. Busta Rhymes and Nas for example were some months away from debuting when this came out.
@@kuahmelallah not to dis dudes opinion but that was very inaccurate and untrue. Too many top 15 to 20 rappers have dropped better verses than Tupac's verse

The song that introduced 2Pac to the world!
He was presented to us as a king symbolic like
when music was all about having a good time and partying
Yup!
david ventola I thought that was music now?
@@quieslea13 Nah Music Now Makes You Think Its About Partying Cuz Of The Sound, Its The Same As Gangsta Rap Just With A Enthusiastic Beat
TW Sosa GANG BANGING Rap. But this video reminds me of most famous rappers today... agree to turn our cheeks.
@@quieslea13rappers these days only flex their bb guns and their money and rap some nonsense
RIP Shock G/Humpty and Tupac
A LEGEND IS BORN !!! 2:18
TO THE UPCOMING GENERATIONS,PLEASE KEEP SONGS LIKE THIS ALIVE IN THE FUTURE.R.I.P. SHOCK G
Got u mane
Turned 34 last week, I first head this track in the movie Casper when I was 7. I’ve always loved hip-hop but my access to it was very limited at that age and due to strict parents. Outside of the radio and music channles I got it through random sountrack appearances, Jock Jams and MTV Party 2 Go CDs and Musical Guests on the the children’s show All That. Still going back through what I couldn’t have then.

Almost lost Dre too 😕
Thank you for everything Shock G including bringing us Tupac
People who think Digital Underground is a joke because of the Humpty Dance need to listen to this song. The flow is so f'ing great.
The good stuff lives FOREVER 🫡
Shock G basically initiated Tupac into life. He was pretty much like a lost puppy before he joined Digital Underground. It gave him brotherhood, acceptance, girls, connections and money. It was basically a launch pad for him and his whole career.
exactly and that woman who was his manager

Gotta do the hard yards!! Humping manicans on stage
No actually Tupac was pretty big when he started his music his frost song went huge without anyone’s help
he featured Shock in his 'I Get Around ' single after he hit it big, iirc
