Lol. He found the key after engineering was on the way out with a spare and never told anyone so he went back leaving engineering to come out and find he wasn't there
I think the police would love this vid that about of times you get points on your licence when the bus is still moving and your looking behind you your reading
I have watched the whole video and have no idea what you are on about. I can see me checking mirrors etc but no point am i reading If you got such a problem give me a timestamp
and after the bus moves off being aware of any changes that happen esp moving away from the kurb of a busy bus stop making sure everyone is clear of the bus as it moves away its all good and well checking before you move but it changes. for example you pull away from a bus stop either ppl close to the kurb and watch the tail as you pull away to ensure it not gonna hit anyone as ppl move about. and anyone that might be running for the bus don't wanna drag anyone. But this is your view which you are welcome too
@Mancbuses Fella. Stop. I'm not having a go at you, im talking about you checking inside your pockets, bending forward and looking down left near behind your seat all whilst the bus is moving, that doesn't make sense about you describing what happens after you move the bus at the start of your shift, you were looking for the "lost key".
normal rota is all over the place I was on Late rota an although they was suppose to be the same ish some were silly like starting a late at 1pm think we had one that started at 11am
@@Mancbuses would of thought they would try and keep people on a similar rota instead of all over the place , which in turn would help with drivers health ie sleep pattern and eating pattern . which in turn would help with drivers being able to safely navigate the buses and deal with passengers and road users . which is what its all about . i find it strange that they dont do that tbh
As an ex-bus driver, I cannot understand why you are messing about looking at the floor and checking pockets sometimes when the bus is moving also reading something perhaps a running board and the traffic pulling off leaving you stood instead of saying yep to passengers how about thanks.
Yes most service bus seats putting it frankly are totally shit like sitting on wood however when I was at high peak and where I am now they have good seats and will replacement once they gone rubbish.
Newer buses yes older ones no. The seats go really quickly because of the amount of people that sit in them of different weights etc they soon get crushed so there is no support
good that they look after the drivers as well as the passengers not many do , would you say working for stagecoach is good ? im thinking about maybe driving for therm @@Mancbuses
Seems more interested in his coat pocket contents than what is around the bus. If i were caught doing this , id have been hauled in the office. Very poor imo
A potentially great video marred by the arrogant driver. Zero customer service skills and rude to some passengers. I’d defo be having words if I was their superiors
Great videos can't believe how brave the people riding bikes are
Very
Legend has it that to this day the other bus driver is still looking for the key
Lol. He found the key after engineering was on the way out with a spare and never told anyone so he went back leaving engineering to come out and find he wasn't there
Another great video sir I do find it odd that people ask for one destination to the driver and it says the destination on the board
Well said
nice to see the content coming love these videos
Thanks
Nice seeing the days of (not very) old when First bus still had Queens Road
Platt fields

Spot on fella, I thought I was the only one who spotted this.
@Mancbuses You suppose to do all your checks before the bus moves, you're looking down to your left whilst the bus is still moving, not good.

I enjoyed watching this video, thank you for you for uploading this.😊
No problem it makes all the difference when they are unedited

Nice one Mate
thanks no problem
How many shifts do you do a week mate and how long is each one? Great vid as per
At stagecoach it was 5 on 2 off but the rest days weren't together. Typically between 7 and ¹⁰ hour days. At where I am now it's 5 on 3 off
Can I ask what camera system you use and how you attach it to the bus?
Suction cup to cab door or window with a gopro.
Hi great video m8
Thanks
What’s your Greenroad score? 😂
Cant wait to see you in an MMC again 👌
We have 19186,7,8 in stagecoach stroud

are rotas at stagecoach different hours every day or do they try to keep you on the same rota for a few days on a bit of a run?

How easy is it to use that machine?
If its setup right once use to it. Really easy until they change the layout
Did they find the key? Nice vid
Yh under the training bus
@@Mancbuses ahh okay
I would hate picking up passengers.
Isn't that the worse bit about bus driving. You ask most drivers and they say its a good job if it wasn't for the passengers lol

is that bus electric? there were some unusual noises if it wasn't
nope it have a Cummins 4BT i think with a Voith gearbox

do bus drivers suffer from back pain , or are the seats comfy?

Thanks for watching. I was feeling for keys. This video is a good few years old now.
Bring back bus conductors then drives can do thir driving uninterupted
